how close to a gps fence can your dogs get before a warning is given? Is it 10 ft? 5ft? I ask because I have an area where the house is about 40 ft from the road but there is a slim strip of lawn there. Just dont want to have a warning correction always happening. Thanks and absolutely great video!
From my experience if the “gps fence” is set up it will keep protecting, but without cell service it can’t send the notifications to the phone UNLESS you are in bluetooth range then you can still have 2 way communication with the collars, as far as loosing a phone, it is a app with a cloud based account so you would need a new device and just log in to halo app and good to go
Yes, kinda they give you beacons that are like Apple AirTags and they make a radius that activates to collar, so you can put one on the counter or couch to teach the dogs not to jump up on things, but it’s not really as effective as the gps fence feature
Yikes if you think that collar is expensive you should might rather consider a guinea pig or gold fish...As vet bills are Y I K E S.....THEN DONT FORGET PET INSURANCE TO BOOT
I agree it’s not cheap but the app and hardware make it worth the cost. We have a dog that if she clears the fence all training is out the window she is GONE true runner… I bought it twice and returned it before opening the box wrestling with the price…. I bought it again after our last “runaway” adventure and actually used it….. it is hands down worth every penny
I had a really hard time with the price, but after my 4th time chasing my “runaway” dog for an hour after she got out it has been worth it….. No amount of training will calm that dogs need to run if she is free… it’s just I her DNA, but the HALO, keeps her safe and at in the yard
You can physically walk around while holding the collar and having the app in your phone and drop points as you walk versus doing it using the map and the app, I did the same thing works great

It has about a 10 ft warning zone before the boundary

How do you walk to create a new fence, please? Our satellite has too many trees.
