  • Wally The Alligator Just Wants To Cuddle With You. Meet Wally, the emotional support alligator who goes with his ownr Joie Henney almost everywhere. They hug each other and sleep in the same bed.
Wally is seven years old, 5 1/2 feet long and has rows of razor sharp teeth but don't let that intimidate you. Wally the alligator loves to give people hugs and he likes to cuddle which is hard to believe. Henney’s unusual relationship with WallyGator started in 2015, he said, when a friend called from Florida and asked if he could take in a few gators that had been found in a pond in Orlando.

It’s all fun and games til the alligator grows up and kills his children 🤷‍♀️I don’t care how tame it is; it’s an alligator. They do not have the emotion capabilities we do.
Sure they feel, but I doubt they ‘love’ you. Just making sure they’re always well-fed is a good way to stay safe around them, but the ‘love’ part is just for the show lol

These people have the same mindset of the psychos who enter lion exhibits because they think the lions are so cute and won’t hurt them cause they’re their friends. Just to end up eaten. People think they’re so special as if they’re an animal whisperer or something . All It takes is one bad day for the animal and your daughter is gone.. then the parents will be dumbfounded saying “ oh idk why the alligator would ever do that he’s been nice up until now”. @@Whitguy86 The gator IS tame....
You mean the gator isn't domesticated.
      There's a HUGE difference.
domestication is a permanent modification of genetic code and traits which include a predisposition toward humans. meaning they are our pets.
Horses, dogs, cats are a few animals that have been domesticated.
Tame means a conditioned or learned behavior....Many animals become "tame" but are still "Wild" such as bears, lions, etc.
meaning they have learned to be tolerant of humans and human behavior, such as us being around them, touching them, feeding, etc. but they are still "wild" and dangerous.
there's only a handful of animals that have become "domesticated". MOST are wild, or trained to be "tamed".

It's possible that Wally may have some kind of brain damage or defect to his brain that we just can't see. It doesn't matter if he does, as he gets on just fine, but I'm sure there's something different in his brain that makes him less aggressive. If it was able to be passed down, it would make him a great contributor to pet alligators, which I'm sure a lot of people would find interesting or would be better for alligator shows (reduce or eliminate risk of biting).

I have a feeling Wally wasnt released in the wild. The tamed behavior of the alligator is one in a million. The owner should have known this. IT means his pet comes with a hefty price tag.
That alligator is in some else's home.
      1. By a billionaire who wanted that alligator for his personal collection so bad he paid for the kidnappers
      2. Gov't who wants to study Wally.
Showing his emotion on video means interested parties would have no chance acquiring his alligator. Acquiring it illegally would be the only way to go

She came back and would come and go. Mo mo was a special gator I guess and has come around for over 20+ years. My family left to west Monroe to escape Katrina. I lost my parents, my best friend, my sister-in-law, and my husband of 33 years in a short period of time. Two days after my husband passed (I was in tears) a feral cat my husband had rescued, finally let me pet her and sat in my lap. She had lived with us for over a year and watched us from a distance. She's my sweet lap cat now. Big hug for Wally! He's special and so are you!
