He’s def not on the level of some of the other monsters in that series, but he can hold his own decently well.
Richard is the grand saber. He mentioned in the manga “Hey, are you the disciple of the old man of the mountain?”. Referring to Grand Assassin Hassan. He has Excalibur noble phantasm and a second noble phantasm that gives him 5 more noble phantasms. What I don’t get is he has a noble phantasm “smiling soldier”, wtf? I feel as if it should have been a healing or item creating noble phantasm. Because historically speaking, he did knight his cool/chef.
cebuanoguy wait when did he mention that? Also richard and one of the old man of the mountain from his time once cooperated in the Third Crusade so i think he was referring to that old man of the mountain rather than king hassan
Nah. But he was in Israel and in the third crusade. That assassins had a base there. As seen in the Camelot singularity. The Hassan of his time is cursed arm. Besides his Excalibur is false. And summon retainers is not grand servant stuff as Jason, Okita and others can do it.
@Marcelo Nunes Okita does it? But yeah, Jason and Chen Gong do it too. It’s even the entire premise of Iskandar’s NP, although his manifests an entire battlefield and the entirety of his army. I think I read on his wiki page that it’d take too much mana to fully manifest his retainers? I guess it’s made easier in FGO due to [reasons].
Oh, Saladin had ransomed christians first, He however killed them despite getting the ransom money. That is what pissed richard off to where he killed his muslim prisoners and why he dropped the kebabhammer on saladin so hard. Richard's own people were begging him to kill the muslim hostages after the code of chivalry was never honoured once by saladin. Saladin took ransom money from Richard several times and killed Christian prisoners. Richard would have faced even more desertion if he had not killed the prisoners. You NEVER screw with a man with the title of Lionheart and expect not to be eaten
That’s not even what remotely happened Richard had hoped to exchange the prisoners for the True Cross, 100,000 gold coins and 1,600 prisoners held by Salah ad-Din. Negotiations broke down and, convinced Salah ad-Din was stalling, Richard ordered the captives executed. Richard the Lionheart ordered 2,000 prisoners from the garrison of Acre and 1,000 women and children beheaded on the small hill of Ayyadieh in full view Salah ad-Din's army and his field headquarters on 20 August 1191. The massacre was controversial, even for Christians. Muslim chronicler Baha ad-Din noted many Crusaders disapproved of it. In retaliation, Salah ad-Din sent the True Cross to Damascus and had 2,300 Christian prisoners in Damascus executed. More Christian prisoners were tortured and executed as word of the massacre spread around the Islamic world.
It's purpose is to kill Masters and mages. That's seriously it. I would ask more what the purpose of Casters is overall considering a lot of servants have Magic Resistance.
In his life, he named EVERY SINGLE ONE of his swords 'Excalibur'. Thus his legend allows him to replicate the power of the holy sword at a much weaker level, even if he was wielding the real Excalibur he could never replicate what Arthur or Artoria can do as he: 1. Does not have permission to wield the sword by the counter force and 2. Can't unlock the restraints of the round table.
@@NHDOreBros "much weaker level" isn't true though. His noble phantasm has a rank from B ~ A++. I'm also pretty sure that there are no restrains on his "Excaliburs" because the Excalibur with restrains was in Fate/Prototype, which probably isn't connected to Fate/Strange Fake.
Fate Richard is based on popular depictions of Richard rather then actual Richard. There’s a whole lot more to his story that gets left out or not given context. For example Richard often gets viewed like he had no idea what he was doing these days when he honestly a brilliant general and a good politician. There’s a reason he is remembered. Fate version is actually one of his better depictions since it balances some of his positives with his negatives to make an interesting character.
So, have you ever though about making a series abouy what would happen if "this character was a servant in Fate" or something? Historical or fictional like Goku or even something as odd as Spike Spiegel?
We don't know yet I mean if there's any Alternatives Timeline based on Crusade in FGO that will be huge than any others I think?, because there's a lot history figure and history event during crusade. Like Salahuddin, King Baldwin IV, King Philip, King Frederick, All Hassan from Assassin world, and Mongol Invasion came along Note 'Sorry for my English'
Once again after laying out all of the feats of said hero they don't really sound heroic or for that matter someone who would be remembered in history. The nobility was always pulling shit like this off so why is this noteworthy enough for the guy to get the title lionhearted?

@Marcelo Nunes Okita does it?
Please continue the DAAs lore. Especially those in the top 10 of the strongest DAAs

Love the vid.
The more lore I hear the more I think Kiritsugu and Goetia had a point
I wish it would have been Donquixote in strange fake instead I was so sure it was gonna be him.
Hey where did y’all read fate/strange fake at the English translation?
If Saladin was summoned into SF and met Richard...
Please do Alcides from Strange/Fake
Oh, Saladin had ransomed christians first, He however killed them despite getting the ransom money. That is what pissed richard off to where he killed his muslim prisoners and why he dropped the kebabhammer on saladin so hard. Richard's own people were begging him to kill the muslim hostages after the code of chivalry was never honoured once by saladin. Saladin took ransom money from Richard several times and killed Christian prisoners. Richard would have faced even more desertion if he had not killed the prisoners. You NEVER screw with a man with the title of Lionheart and expect not to be eaten
That’s not even what remotely happened
Richard had hoped to exchange the prisoners for the True Cross, 100,000 gold coins and 1,600 prisoners held by Salah ad-Din.
If i can recall Richard avoided battle and war with Salahuddin makes you wonder who the real lionheart is?
this guy.... richard the lion is like alexander the great with an army at his back and can use EXxxxxxbur
But the excalibur is fake Its not powerful as the excalibur arthur wields
Also thy said that the bow man was a boy of 12
When salahe ddine herd of the death of Richard he said the lion King was killed by ante
The next servant has to be Alcide ( Herc)
Oh so this is who he is I thought he was the male Mordred
I can't believe there were no Robin Hood references.
Richard I sounds dope, I might have to pick up SF.

please make a lore video on the assassin class and it's purpose in the fate universe
It's purpose is to kill Masters and mages. That's seriously it. I would ask more what the purpose of Casters is overall considering a lot of servants have Magic Resistance.
Didn't know about this guy
So when will my boy solomon have a lore video? XD
How about emiya alter
OK I'm confused. What about this story allows him to turn anything into Excalibur?
In his life, he named EVERY SINGLE ONE of his swords 'Excalibur'. Thus his legend allows him to replicate the power of the holy sword at a much weaker level, even if he was wielding the real Excalibur he could never replicate what Arthur or Artoria can do as he: 1. Does not have permission to wield the sword by the counter force and 2. Can't unlock the restraints of the round table.
@@NHDOreBros Ah, I see. That explains it, thank you.
@@NHDOreBros He even claimed that several pieces of silverware (including a spoon) he used to eat were Excalibur.
@@SakuraiHikari15 Yeah mans obsessed
@@NHDOreBros "much weaker level" isn't true though. His noble phantasm has a rank from B ~ A++. I'm also pretty sure that there are no restrains on his "Excaliburs" because the Excalibur with restrains was in Fate/Prototype, which probably isn't connected to Fate/Strange Fake.
Wow, i didnt know Richard was a loser. I thought he was better than Arthur, I guess I was wrong.
So standoffish and a double backstabber. It is amazing people like him.
Oh shit it's a dude who hates a fictional king!
What about Prince John?
Like most Fate characters I'm sure he acts nothing like his real life self and never mentions his faith out of passing. Boo
Still waiting 4 emiya assassin
please make a video of the fake assassin please the 2nd badass assassin from king hassan the ZEALOT
Do a Lore on Nero or BB
So, whose next? Salahudin??
He still not in fate yet
We don't know yet
I mean if there's any Alternatives Timeline based on Crusade in FGO that will be huge than any others I think?, because there's a lot history figure and history event during crusade.
Like Salahuddin, King Baldwin IV, King Philip, King Frederick, All Hassan from Assassin world, and Mongol Invasion came along
Note 'Sorry for my English'
Do you stream your FGO content or something? In your year update for it you referenced stuff about it but I'm not sure if that's just on your Twitter
I want him in fgo
Once again after laying out all of the feats of said hero they don't really sound heroic or for that matter someone who would be remembered in history. The nobility was always pulling shit like this off so why is this noteworthy enough for the guy to get the title lionhearted?
FGO Fate/Strange Fake servants when?
French huh? Ruler should meet this guy
Henry II was not French.
