I remember seeing "Superman II" in the theater when I was about nine. The spectacle of General Zod, Non, and Ursa toying with these weak, soft, pathetic humans before brutally killing them, with no hope of Superman swooping in to save the day, absolutely terrified me. I distinctly remember worrying that they would then fly through the screen and kill everyone in the theater in a similarly gruesome manner. In the pantheon of screen villains, Darth Vader had nothing on these guys, as far as nine-year-old me was concerned.

what were the Villians doing for oxygren? Even Kyrptonians need to breathe. There is no air in space. They were banished into the phantom zone as humans on a planet, and then escaped the Zone while in deep space, so what did they do for oxygren?

Something that confused me as a kid was why the Lunar Module started to collapse when all Non was doing at first was holding one of the struts. Then I learned the real Grumman landers were made of very light and thin materials to save weight, so the thrust of the launch engine would tear the ship apart if it didn't achieve ascent.

I'd be freaked out if i looked out the window and saw a humanoid figure flying through space , and it looks right at you, revealing its sentient, and unaffected by a vacuum, cause you know even though it looks human, it ain't a human. i would think it would either be a robot or a demonic spirit. i actually heard someone on a shuttle in orbit seen something like that once.

I never understood what was going on when Non was holding down the ship. It looks like the ceiling starts caving in; is that supposed to be the force of the engine crushing the ship since it's held in place? Then later it looks like the engine is off and the ceiling continues to cave in.

Respectfully disagree. There’s plenty of great action scenes in the modern dc movies.
The smallville fight in MoS, doomsday fight, JL final fight versus steppenwolf (shout-out flash).
Not knocking Superman 2, it’s great! Although not quite as polished as the first one.
