Hi Alex, Emirates’ reputation for a toxic environment and heartless cabin supervisors is all over youtube. Can you share more about how the environment and cooperation with fellow cabin crew is at Etihad? Thanks
@@elenabuftea1123 environment in etihad is pretty chill. Emirates is more strict indeed. In EY you can speak up if you have any concerns, and most seniors are nice towards crew
Hey Alexander, I’m 20 (turning 21 on the 31st of December) and I’ve watched almost all of your videos. I’m an aspiring cabin crew member, and Etihad is my dream airline. I’m from Namibia, and while I’ve been looking into training in South Africa, the cost is pretty high. My mom is worried about my safety and security for moving to Abu Dhabi and working for Etihad 😔, but I’m determined to pursue this and don’t mind relocating. I’ve done a lot of research, watched videos on TH-cam and TikTok, and read articles about the pros and cons of being a flight attendant. I’d love any advice you could share! Thank you for all your content, it’s really inspired me🤲🏾
Hi. What do you mean worried about safety? Abu Dhabi is literally the safest city in the world 😂 it’s on the safety index usually top 3. If you watch my videos you should know that. You can definitely apply, do it online. Easy going! EY is recruiting african crew
I beg to differ. There's no such thing as "custom service" on the official website of etihad. Of course, it's an advantage but not a necessity for etihad.
Hi buddy, in two weeks I've open day. Any advice for me? Currently I'm cabin crew in Ryanair. I am bald and have a well-groomed beard. I've to go with Cleanshave?.
Hey Alex, I'm a huge fan of your work both onboard and on youtube and have been following you. I am a aspiring cabin crew and I really want to join Etihad. I have one doubt and it's driving me crazy because I have given my video assessment on 5th oct and haven't heard from them since then. Should I consider myself as rejected or will I get reply from etihad if I'm selected for next round or not?
Hello Alex, thank you for including my question! ☺️ If I have not misunderstood, it seems to me that they do not give any salary or help while they are in training? 🤔While you're in training, you should be able to pay for your things? Thanks, have a nice day!
Hey Alex, I have a one question for you which I’m sure most of the aspirants would want to know, Actually I have a tattoo in my arm and forearm but it is not visible while wearing formal full length attire and won’t be visible while wearing an Etihad cabin crew uniform, Is that a problem? Please consider this and answer it that will be your most kindness
Yes they do. Emirates had the biggest bonuses for the past 2 years , from all the other airlines. But we don’t know what the future can bring, maybe the same, maybe nothing. So I wouldn’t bet on it
I have two questions related to the experience first I saw that on Etihad page they wrote fresher candidates are allow for cabin crew 2 ) If someone have experience from call centre or bpo job it is valid experience for cabin crew jobs?
Hi. Call center jobs are not customer facing roles. You must take them away of your CV or give them a different approach. That's what I was told by FlyRight (Emirates' appointed agency in South America)
Hii.. Alex I am from India .. I wanna ask you in case I go to Abu Dhabi for an interview open day.. am i eligible for an interview?? Please reply.. & how to get to know about open day assessment
I understand eitihad required customer service experience but is should be from popular place only like emirates need experience from 5star hotel or any airline.People with customer service experience but from not famous place like basic store salons cafe will be considered in eitihad??
@@AlexanderGeorgeThanks alot man. By the way I submitted video Assessment last month and eagerly waiting for next +iv email. Currently working as an Aviation security at Dubai International Airport. 😊😊

4:09 Appreciate your response but pregnancy depends on a lot of things and is not the only responsibility of the lady. People have active lives, so I would suggest your response should have been more to answer the question and not really represent the organisation. People respect the organisation but most companies do not respect people.
If you get hired and become pregnant during your probation period, it’s definitely not Ok on all levels. Company might fire you. Most companies for that matter, especially in the middle east. It’s not the west
Just FYI in Emirates u’re not allowed to become pregnant during ur first contract ( which is 3 years), u will get fired. Take into consideration that as soon as u get pregnant u will stop flying, so 9 months plus after delivery around 5 more months. From company’s perspective u’re not contributing to the business thus such rule is in place.
@anasunrise89 I see but very sexist for an org in the industry that uses women in the forefront of advertisements. Also why do so many crew are pandering towards the company and care about companies so much that u have to praise them so much for setting business standards. Middle East has some of the worst employee relations. I am guy btw.
I lost my virtual assessment invitation email because it was filtered as a commercial ad, so I couldn't see it 💀💀 They gave me a second chance, I summited a second video assessment, but it was rejected. Like why?? I was the same person lol

Yes definitely happens
Is Emirates hire Fresher cabin crew from india??
Random question. are you a cat person or a dog person?🤔
Is cabin crew training is tough for new joiner in Etihad?
Not tougher than university exams in my opinion, but it’s alot of them. So paying attention constantly and studying in your time off is essential

Your airline is going to let passengers talk on their cell phones in flight? Sounds like a disastrous decision. Good luck with that.
Did you fly before? Every airline does, it’s normal. Except for take off & landing.

Did you know Alex why Etihad always open days or recruitment only in UAE not open days in another country like Ek and QR they recruit by run the world
Nowadays they do alot of online recruitment. They still do open days sometimes but limited!
