Pink Floyd had a state of the art touring sound system that could overcome the challenging acoustics of old hockey arenas. This is proof...I was there...the sound was great...and my recording reflected that.
I was at this concert....acoustics at the garden really sucked. The concerts sound is a corrupted file in my head...this material brings it all back!! Awesome fraking shit!!
Roger plays acoustic guitar on Pigs On the Wing (pt 1 and 2), electric rhythm guitar on Pigs (three different ones) and Sheep, either in studio and live:) whereas Snowy handled bass duties:)
I can't quite hear the second guitar on Sheep, at either Boston or Oakland. I figured that he wasn't always on stage, so I sort of pictured Snowy White and Dick Parry walking on and off as necessary.
Been wanting the Animals Tour on cd for awhile but nothing but lousy recordings to be found. FINALLY a pretty damnned good one! Thanks HanSixDsTemmEr!!

Mel Man they did that in live recordings of One Of These Days too
Saw the same show on July 4th 1977 at MSG. One of the best concerts I have seen and I've seen a lot.
Best outro ever
It's said roger spits every time he hears a firework to this day

THE WAY IT SHOULD BE, THANKYOU FLOYD, BEST BAND EVER !
I love this version, amazing guitar and drums outro and slowed down with Rick's keyboards signing off.

Woah, cool. That's the first time I hear of this happening. Are you sure?
Absolutely )

Snowy plays bass on Sheep live...trust me on this one )
Actually on this recording Rogers rhythm guitar is almost louder than Dave's

This is NY favorite live version that I have come across. Was Snowy playing bass on this tour?
On some songs (such as this one), he was.
On the animals songs snowy played bass and roger played guitar
