Believe it or not, the 1.3L MT version of Iriz is actually faster than the 1.6L CVT version in both top speed and acceleration. The 1.3L MT version can sprint from 0-100km/h in about 10 seconds with top speed of 190km/h, while the 1.6L CVT version does in 11.5 seconds with maxed out at 180km/h. This is possibly due to the lag and sluggish CVT transmission, it is also prevent you from reaching the red line which makes the manual version has the advantage of reaching a higher top speed.
In addition, for Iriz to do 0-100km/h in under 10 seconds is possible if changing to higher efficient air intake/air filter, remap etc. This is what we refer as "stage 1"
