That's exactly what I did! I completed BootCamp right before the covid lockdown and I was struggling to find a job for 8 months. I worked unpaid for 6 months until I finally landed an actual paying position.
quite a few of my recent interviews 7/9 were theoretical, where the interview would ask me technical questions and go deep with technology & sometimes my resume too; for perspective have a little under 3 years of experience. Just wanted to share to give some perspective.
@@apOLIgetics1 Honestly, I disagree, you can always opt for low pay vs no pay. Opportunities with no pay are just going to exploit you and not "teach" you any new skills / meaningful experience. Serious jobs and roles compensate you for your efforts. Sure, it can be lower than expected or lower than what you deserve, but compensation is always required
Hello I’m an incoming student for masters in bioinformatics and CSE at Georgia tech. I first did premed in a degree unrelated to computer science at Ohio State but picked up on a lot of cs and math courses required for CS I was wondering does your bachelors matter a lot if you are getting a masters in the field?
I don't understand what you expect. Of course, the advice will be the same. You're only supposed to watch one or two of these types of videos and then take them to heart. Maybe instead of watching all the TH-cam videos on this topic, take action and follow this "generic" advice.
You wish him gives you a magic spell, and you will get any job you want by saying it?😂 Bro if you have heard of same advices over and over again from different people, that means they are good advices that have been proved to be working for lots of people. I believe that you are smart enough to figure out such basic logic.
@@lashia. Take action? I’m in my second job 🥱 I just said these people talk about the same thing with different video titles, sorry if I hurt your little heart 😭

You should give resources for people who didn’t go to a university

I’m 32 years old. Should I try to get into software engineering?
Yes you should. I'm 35 years old and start my journey this year from a country in Africa where we have electricity just 3 to 12 hours per day.
Definitely. The tech world is amazing, and can be a fun experience!
