This was not 2017 haha, this was 2002 - Concert for George. Paul was 60 here and Eric was 57 (so yes still old lol)

Intro with the Ukehle, was priceless! The whole concert for George...is bittersweet, all stars , and friends, ho oring George, a year after he passed. Plus Dahni Harrison Georges Son on guitar, and eife Olivia, in back up singing.

This "CONCERT FOR GEORGE" was NOT in 2017, it was held on Nov. 29, 2002 on the FIRST anniversary of George's death, in the Royal Albert Hall. SO, Paul was 60 years old then. Also there was his son Dhani, (not playing on this song) and looking exactly like 21 year old George. Jeff Lynne, Gary Brooker (from Procol Harum) on the piano on the left side of the stage, Albert Lee, the white haired gentleman behind Paul (just saw Albert 2 weeks ago, for the second time), BillyPreston, Eric Clapton , Paul and Ringo , of course , and so many more that you don't see here. The entire concert was George's songs with the Beatles and from his solo career, plus the "LUMBER JACK" song from Monty Python which features Eric Idle and TOM HANKS (Tom is a HUGE Beatles' fan and is friends with the McCartneys) You should watch the ENTIRE "Concert for George" It is SOOOOOOO FANTASTIC. ALL the musicians are either friends of George's or musicicans who have WORKED with George.

This was a memorial concert celebrating the life of George Harrison. You should check out My Sweet Lord featuring Billy Preston at the same concert. That video has 145 million views.

"Layla" is also about Patty Boyd. I love this concert so much! Recommendations from this concert: "Handle With Care" sung by Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers, Jeff Lynne, and Dhani Harrison, " While My Guitar Gentle Weeps" sung by Paul McCartney and Eric Clapton, and "My Sweet Lord" sung by Billy Preston.

Jeff Lynne, ELO, to the right of Clapton.

No doubt poignant for Eric Clapton, knowing the song was written about a woman he had loved at the time.
