I haven't watched it yet, but I plan on watching it this weekend. I never thought it would be as good as the first film. To me, the first movie wasn't about THE Joker. It was about A Joker, that being Arthur Fleck. I'm probably one of the few people who actually enjoyed the build-up to him becoming Joker more than I did when he actually became Joker. The first film really opened my mind to mental illness, and why you should try your best to be kind to others. You never truly know what they're going through behind the scenes. I figured Folie A Deux would be somewhat of a conclusion to Arthur's journey. When I heard it was going to be a Musical, I was a bit mixed. The more I began to think, Arthur had a musical mind. He referenced music in some of the dialogue in the first film, listened to music a lot, and danced quite frequently throughout the film. It definitely makes sense as to why they went the musical route. I think the idea of him being torn between himself and Joker also makes sense. That was also a bit of a theme of the first film. He embraced his transformation in the first film. I've heard it does a flip flop in the sequel and turns him back into Arthur. I personally enjoyed the idea of a character study on Arthur more so than I did Joker because he was never THE Joker. He was A Joker. Great review!
@BoxOfChocolatez Thank ya man! I enjoyed the review, I'd say I'll enjoy it, maybe not as much as the first. I just hope you didn't feel like you wasted your money when you went and seen it lol
Yes do a spoiler review! I liked it for what it was however yes you’re right it should have remained a standalone I liked it for taking risks and going bonkers out there in parts. Good movie.
Cheers to another video will come back this once I see it this week!

Nice, glad you enjoyed Rebel Ridge!
I enjoyed the movie and I do think that IT IS REALLY NOT THAT HARD to say the title. I do not see it as musical, just it is with some more music.
