- Speak No Evil is a remake of the Danish film of the same name. Coming only two years after that original film, does this movie have a purpose of its own? Here is my review!

He prepared for this role by playing Patricia
Both amazing roles for him
I did enjoy the film, but i would have tweaked the third act a bit. If it was more of a revenge thriller than merely the family defending themselves, it would havelooked more like "when a passive person has enough and lashes out" tone and will give the not-so-happy ending feel the director intended (and considering the director of the remake directed Eden Lake, which the director of the original cited as one of the inspirations, i believe this was his intention).
That being said, I did enjoy the remake. That i hadn't know it was a remake and not having seen the trailers helped me appreciate this one. I do prefer the original, no doubt, but this one was worth it.
Definitely not better. It misses the whole point of original. Also a lot less scary and disturbing.
It doesn't try for the same point and miss, it intentionally went in a different direction. For me, it was better.
@@BoxOfChocolatez Glad you liked it but it went in the "basic ass Blumhouse" direction
What was the point of the first one to you?
Perfect casting for Mcavoy
I love seeing him in anything
Going tonight, looks good
Enjoy, it's a lot of fun!
@@BoxOfChocolatez Thank you!
I just got out of this movie based on your recommendation, and I liked it! I'm glad you decided to continue movie reviews, I likely wouldn't have seen it if you hadn't posted this review so your input is very appreciated.
Well that's good to hear!
