I believe it’s 0.32 DTU per gram for the cooling from phase shifting the Ethanol. Yes it’s not much but think of it more as an energy free means of boosting cooling.
I gotta say, when I saw the title of the video back on Patreon, I could not figure out a way to integrate omelets into ethanol cooling loop. I was trying to figure out how one can delete/produce heat using omelets, but there was nothing coming to mind. Turns out, it's as simple as *_cooking_* omelets using the heat from ethanol :)
That is a good question. I am not sure how the wheezewort would behave in that environment. Where exactly would you want to place it. In the steam turbine room there is a constant temp of around 78°C if i remember correctly.
Yes sure. Just check out the rest of my Ethanol videos. There should be 2 that show this. 1 with copper ore and one wioth other materials. As far as i remember
I try to explain: Yes it does the same but with ethanol as the middle man it should be more energy efficient. For the Setup: -you can cool the metal and have nothing above. it shouod be more effective than cooling the Steam Turbines directly. -you can cool the steam turbines directly. - you can cool nothing and only add liquid on top. those are the options for the cooling of the ethanol which is only necessary if the ST get hot which is only necessary if the Aquatuner cools something. Your options for the aquatuner are: -having a large cooling loop running trough your base (and end in the metal tiles before closing the loop in the steam chamber -cooling the pool above to have that a s a cold buffer amd then run the bases cooling loop through that - cool anytging else. you can the also use the heat from the Aquatuner for something etc.
The main drawback of this design is the need to have turbines be in a sealed environment. Why not use the ethanol to cool AT and TR directly, without the use of ST? Both of them are in a sealed chamber anyway, so there would be no additional need to isolate things.
This is cool build, but I cant stand Ethanol, Once if off gases in a dirty brick it is a pain in the ass to deal with because it breaks pipes trying to get it out, makes a huge ass mess. I try to avoid using it it all possible. If you gonna use it KEEP the area Cool 100%.
You can vacuum out massive areas of the map and tile it in, destroy extra ladders and avoid using jetpacks to minimize duplicant movement calculations (only need 10-15 max for endgame), and sweep everything into one big pile for probably the biggest savings of sim calculations. I am not saying that this video won’t lag out the game, but we have many tools at our disposal to optimize the map ourselves.

i may build an ethanol cooler for my cool steam vents around the map.
Nice. you can tell us how it went - if you want to
That is honestly the coolest way to cool steam turbine
I like that it rains the ethanol down
@@lumaraw is it okay if I try to implement that idea in my builds?
Of course that is why i show these things :D
Glad it helped. @@nitzulai6558

Haha ok yeah. An omlette based cooling system wouod need a large amount of egg :D
That would be cool!
I'm loving the ethanol applications, with this technique could a single wheeze wart cool a full power steam turbine? (Either domestic or wild)

@@lumaraw I would put the wheeze wart in a hydrogen filled metal box above the turbine for the ethanol to condense on to try to keep the vacuum.
Is there a way to make aquatuner without a steam turbine by using ethanol cooler?

I lost it at “raw egg”
Don't you have to cool the water above the set up eventually? It's the same as cooling the turbines, no?

Can shine bug eggs can be still cooked by heat?
Any egg in fact!altough the shine bugs ones are not very calorie dense
Slight clarification: no eggs can be cooked.
The raw egg from any cracked eggs can be cooked.
How many types of food can be cooked just by heating them up?
As far as I know only omelets
hey, nice video. can i get the source of the drawing in the thumbnail it looks cute. 😊
I made that with a combination of the bing ai picture generation and redrawing per photoshop
Wait... Can I turn meat into barbeque by using heat? No? Just the egg? XD
Sadly only eggs :(

Psst that is another video. ;)
Edit:what is TR?
@@lumaraw Thermal Regulator? That's assuming AT is Aqua Tuner and ST is Steam Turbine

Cool concept but not very viable for late game base because it make the game laggy with gas and liquid moving
Since it's in such a small area,
it would have literally no impact, so don't worry!
