have had trouble watching the game on the pax streams and understanding what was going on, thanks for this, now i can finally understand what's going on.
Mate, this is your best video. Not that I don't like the others but this is the one I'm sharing with my brothers and friends in order to get them interested in the game. It seems like you already have mastered this immensly rich game and it hasn't even been released yet. Best guide by far! Keep doing great content like this, this game is going to be huge.
Thank you, really appreciate it. I am glad that it's effected people in a way that they share my hype. That means more to me than views - and I hope you come back and let me know how it went with your brothers and friends!
That legit cleared up SO MANY QUESTIONS I had about the game lol. As well as things I didn't realise I had questions about too. Excited to have a go now KEY PLEASE :P
Thank you for this. When the game was first announced I didn't really care about it. After watching this, and seeing how complex the game is, my hype levels shot through the roof. I can't wait to play it now.
I’m so glad I discovered you randomly from the pax stream. The quality of your analysis is amazing and it’s unfortunate it took me until artifact to find you!
Aww thank you so much Kyle! You made me smile. I have a lot more Artifact videos lined up, and although I won't be able to explain how to play again, I have a few other things I run though.
Best guide I have seen by far! I really hope Valve does more to advertise the game so more people can give it a chance but they have been doing nothing.
Fantastic guide, the best one available currently anywhere. Perfect for educational sharing among people willing to get familiar with this game. Looking forward to your future content, good luck in professional career!
I look forward to you making a lot more Artifact content and becoming a new pro player here. I cant wait to see the quality of your videos and gameplay go up as you becoming more popular
Man this card game is strategic as fuck. Which is amazing. It's like an RTS and TCG hybrid. I've been getting bored of MMOs, I'll definitely try this. Also good guide, I literally understood it all.
There is one thing I realized after watching a few vids of Artifact. IMO, there is no hard-countered deck in this game. I mean, for example, you can buy a weapon that can cleave to fight against zoo, you can change the strategies mid game. That seems very interesting. Btw, nice vid, nice analysis. Looking for more, and want to play this game soon :)
This game is actually very intriguing, considering how the game defies how the "normal" vcg works, and going straight into the unknown land, which I really took an interest on. And I really love how the card market system is being implemented, even though many people sees this as a "Pay to Win" game, I strongly doubt such possibility, since this game has a much lower rarity than most games, and also a lot more cards and cheaper packs. I would love to focus on this game because of how the Pro Scene would surely be as good as Dota 2 and CS:GO. I'm really looking forward to this game.
You will end up spending less on this game than you would in, say, hearthstone. You are correct, it's intriguing and I can't wait until everyone can play.
@@Dantics Yes that's true, i'm also looking forward to on how the game is going to progress in terms of how the new card is going to come out. Ex : Hearthstone - Expansion. I'm loving every single video/information that I can find about this game.
Great video ! I was kind of scared by the complexity of Artifact. But the sophistication displayed by this game seems just right. Thanks for this clear insight, kind Sir ! Yet, I have a question : Does the game feel "balanced" ? Or could you notice some archetypes of abusively gamebreaking cards and strategies ? (Similarly to the Hearstone, forcing players to use precise top-tier decks according to the meta)
Thank you! Really appreciate the comment. To answer your question we had the choice of 4 archetypes and I have to say you could win with each if you play well. Only one deck seemed underpowered but I saw many people win with it as did I (red green armour deck) I think it was not as harmonious deck design rather than bad cards. Because there is so many moving wheels in this game and very little randomness I foresee quite a lot of options for strategies.
It feels like Keefe is simplistic/bad because he is a beginning hero designed to showcase the majority of mechanics. I'm not saying it's good or fun design, but it feels intentional.
I agree with most of what you said, but I wouldnt change that his spell can be cast on other colors than red. That seems to be something that is common to all red heroes for some reason. So if you change one it destroys that whole idea.
I was soooo hyped since Valve announced it at TI7 and now I'm getting even more because I can see the actual gameplay. Already sentenced Hearthstone to death (just for me ofc but people will always complain so nvm). Thanks for the awesome vid and hopefully I'll get to play some closed beta too. P. S.: English ain't my first language so my apologies for mistakes I might have made
Next step is playing a few bot matches, getting a feel of the cards. You can check out my deck building video in the description if that helps getting ready for that. Then you got to start on real people and keep an eye on how they play. It really comes down to practice.
So am I! I'm excited to see just how people receive it. It's a bit more difficult to pick up and win than hearthstone, but it feels a lot more rewarding.
the idea of thinking ahead to other board is so cool especially when having to factor in initiative
I am so hyped for artifact, been playing card games since I was a child and this looks like the best one so far.
have had trouble watching the game on the pax streams and understanding what was going on, thanks for this, now i can finally understand what's going on.
You are most welcome. Thanks for watching! I also have pax games I analyse if that's something you want to see.
Thanks for this video, I have been sharing it with my friends who are curious about Artifact, but haven't been keeping as close of an eye on things.
Thanks dude! Hopefully they can understand it too!

I’d say this is currently (17th of Nov. 2018) the best tutorial / explanation video of the game.
Thanks dude :)
That legit cleared up SO MANY QUESTIONS I had about the game lol. As well as things I didn't realise I had questions about too. Excited to have a go now KEY PLEASE :P
Best of luck getting a key :D
Thanks for the intro guide - been watching all your content for the past few weeks and now just waiting for the game to release!!
Not too long now!!
Thank you for this. When the game was first announced I didn't really care about it. After watching this, and seeing how complex the game is, my hype levels shot through the roof. I can't wait to play it now.
You are most welcome. The valve 10k tournament for this is on in about 6 hours now, which I'll be in. Sure you can watch that too.
Good luck to you sir! Now I know who to root for!
Will be recommending this video to everyone, who's new to Artifact.
You're the best
Best guide I have seen by far! I really hope Valve does more to advertise the game so more people can give it a chance but they have been doing nothing.
Thanks! I had imagined something very different when listening to other discussions!!
Good that I can still surprise some people then :D
Fantastic guide, the best one available currently anywhere. Perfect for educational sharing among people willing to get familiar with this game. Looking forward to your future content, good luck in professional career!
Why thank you! I appreciate the kind words.
This is indeed the most comprehensive guide so far! Good job!
Thank you very much! I think some people like the quick and dirty IGN type explanation, and some will like more info
What a great summary. I am actually very excited to get my hands on this game!
You and me both!
Love the introduction. Now nothing can stop me in arTIfact
TI fact Art. Let's do it!
Planning ahead is the most exiting thing about artifact for me
It needs to be done in this game, which makes it so much more tactical
FOR THE BETA KEY ! also really liked you provided infos when u were at PAX in reddit. ty !
You are welcome :D
Great vid and very resourceful commentary! This answer a LOT of question about the gameplay. Keep up the great work and can't wait to play the game.
Thank you very much, you are most kind! Glad you enjoyed it and glad I answered your questions.
I look forward to you making a lot more Artifact content and becoming a new pro player here. I cant wait to see the quality of your videos and gameplay go up as you becoming more popular
Very comprehensive video. Thanks. Wish Valve had released a tutorial or something before the streams. Can't wait to try this game.
Yeah I did as well. At pax they had a sort of tutorial slide show but it really didn't help! The best teacher is playing your self.
Really good and informative guide, I've been using this guide to update my mates on Artifact
Appreciate it! Thank you very much
I have this feeling that I will be checking this video more than one time :))))
thanks for this guide, I recomend slowly watching taking notes!
Hehe not sure you need to but it would help! Thank you very much! Glad you enjoyed it.
Probably the best guide so far. Good job!
Why thank You! Let's hope it helps
Man this card game is strategic as fuck. Which is amazing. It's like an RTS and TCG hybrid. I've been getting bored of MMOs, I'll definitely try this. Also good guide, I literally understood it all.
Very comprehensive guide! Also I loved the 10hr footage of PAX games.
OH god Finally a detailed beginner's guide! Hope you make it to Q1 watched your game on youtube!
Thank you Trevis! That's very nice of you. I hope so as well.
Can't wait to play the game. Very insightful commentary
Thank you very much!
Nice in-depth intro. Can't wait!

Exactly right! There is always options for you, and there is no sure fire win everything deck

Congrats dude on how far you got, and thank you for the tutorial, if I ever end up creating a game I want you to do the tutorial for it.
I would love to :)
best guide i've seen so far, very insight full
Very well done tutorial, im basically ready to play now!
Thank you very much! Glad you enjoyed it.
Keep up the great work, can't wait to see more!
Thank you very much!
Keep the artifact goodness coming.
Sir yes sir! :D
Thanks for this comprehensive guide!
You are most welcome

This is my go to summary for artifact. Excellent video.
That means a lot to me. Glad you enjoyed it
It feels like Keefe is simplistic/bad because he is a beginning hero designed to showcase the majority of mechanics. I'm not saying it's good or fun design, but it feels intentional.
Yeah but just because it's a beginning hero doesn't mean he shouldn't be viable, right?
The title is very accurate. Good job!

Got beta key, now this. I'm not sure if it's possible to be more hyped.
Oh it's possible!
I really like the RNG aspect in deployment phase. It makes (every) game less boring
That is true! Would be too predictable if it wasn't random
MTG Soundtrack, brilliant good sir!
Very helpful. Cant wait to play it!!
I can't wait for you to play it too!
After years of HS, I cannot wait for this. More in depth, challenging and visual alot better.
This needs more views. Amazing explanation
Thank you Arpit, I made it after the others I saw really didn't go into everything they should have.
The best guide so far
Thank you! I was hoping to give much more information than the IGN one.

See I was hyped too even though so many people complained at TI7.
Hearthstone is already uninstalled for me. Your English is just fine. Thank you!
Thanks for this dude, it sounds like in-game tutorial :D
Thank you very much! Glad you enjoyed it.
thanks! must see for everyone who starts learning about game!
Appreciate it!
Such a great video! I will definitely be showing this to all my friends that don't know how to play yet!

Will try!

Thank you very much!
Great work! This cleared up many of my questions.
Very detailed overview, great!
Thank you very much!
Great video! Once we understand all of this, what's the next step in terms of learning basic strategy?
Next step is playing a few bot matches, getting a feel of the cards. You can check out my deck building video in the description if that helps getting ready for that. Then you got to start on real people and keep an eye on how they play. It really comes down to practice.
Seems like I've got a new favorite game in a while.
It's mine right now
can't wait to play this man... november please come (or october if lucky) :D
Crossing fingers for you
Man nice video! Can't wait to play this game
I can't wait for you to play it too!
So excited for this game.
So am I! I'm excited to see just how people receive it. It's a bit more difficult to pick up and win than hearthstone, but it feels a lot more rewarding.
Top content, hope you continue after release!
Thank you! I will :D

Thank you MissJessicaB. Glad you found it helpful!
Up there in Purge Quality for Dota, interested to see anything else that may change this once the game is released.
saw the match live, it was fun. =]
Which one?
Nice video, hope you make more Artifact videos in the future
Awesome job! Keep it coming!
nice summary of the rules
Thank you very much! Glad you enjoyed it.
Very informative! Keep it up man
Thank you very much!
Great vid on how to play. I just hope the monetization will be good even for cheap spenders!
Thank you very much!
Yeah look the price might be a barrier but you get A LOT for the initial cost
Good production quality and cadence.
Thank you very much!
Great Video!! let's go ARTIFACT!
I'm interested to see how strong 3 color decks turn out.
Great vid as always dude.
You are too kind
Thanks, nice video on how to play the game !
The decision making in Artifact seems off the charts.
It really is and that can't be over stated. You can pick a deck thats easier to pilot, though.
Great video, hope you keep it up!
Thank you! I will :D
Great video as always, keep it up!
Great guide! Keep up the good work!
great video!!! btw did you remove your last video?
Thanks Steve! Which one? The live stream is still there, just not listed :) I don't list my streams usually.
You have privated 2 videos so maybe its one of those :) It was when PAX was, you talking about the game and giving out codes in the video I remember
Fantastic guide!
Thank you very much!
I'm interested in seeing how well 3 color decks do.
Yep complicated but seems interesting for sure. Gonna try it out for sure
Best new player guide of Artifact by far!
the hype train for artifact is real!
So real it hurts!
Great breakdown :O
So hyped for this game
I think the hard part of Artifact is that you have to plan ahead a few rounds
Exactly you need to be aware of what is happening and can happen.
Simply Amazing!
Sunsfan was once the number 1 Centuar on Dota2 so he is actually pretty skillful
He most definitely is!
