I will give it a shot. From first sight it is mixture between HS (in terms of card design, winning condition) and Gwent (multiple lines) 20 dollars for 10 packs, two already made decks, draft mode isn't that much. Later economy iš different story. But hopefully it will turn good.

I'm watching now for 11 mins. I gave it a real chance. I'm interested to learn about this game. Sadly, I can't decipher anything. Kripp is giving no information or explanation as he plays. It is just impossible to follow. I'm going to dislike for the quality of the content, so TH-cam knows not to suggest any more videos like this. Maybe people are not mass disliking the videos simply because its not HS. Worth thinking about.
I wish I could understand what was going on a bit better. The game looks really fun and the viewer experience is alright but I think if I knew what was going on this would be much more entertaining. Maybe some artifact tutorials Kripp?

I watched day 9 play artifact before kripp and he played the deck like kripp's opponent (except it was monoblue and more controlish but the point is the same) in this video against a deck like kripp's... the game hasn't even come out yet but there's already meta

Also this specific deck runs card draw up the butt. As you have seen, kripp started the combo with about 15-20 cards and could draw a lot, a lot more. Just got to make sure the opponent has no heroes in lane, (and there's like 3 more mechanics that stops them from acting and able to play cards) or uses a high mana cost card first in the lane with green and blue hero. (then he's out of mana to kill the infinite mana creature, or if you've drawn 2 of them, it doesn't even matter lol). Isn't artifact amazing? (no, i don't think so)
Yeah idk maybe this game might just be a little to much for Krips core audience. If the card game isn’t as straight forward as go fish with two different deck types it’s lost on them.
How is that point even valid? Mtg has turn 1 wins (not in standard, but in modern there are several decks that can beat you before you even play a card) and in Hearthstone turn 4-5 lethal has been a thing since the very first expansion. And that's without needing to hit a specific combo. Not to mention that you don't GET to immediately combo with the 9 drop in this game because you don't GET to play 2 cards in a row. As Kripp said, if the opponent has a removal spell for that card (which in blue or black, will usually be the case) it's a crap card. So to answer your question: Yeah, it's completely fine. Doesn't bother me even a little bit.
Kripp also said that if you drew 2 of those, you are not giving a crap about removal of the first. It's not like there aren't a fuckton of mechanics to stop heroes from casting cards in artifact. Well, even less reason for me to play mtg if such a bullshit exists in there. I'm sure it's a good fun time for all when somebody plays first turn win deck. (not)

This is just a beta and our lord Gaben of house Valve will listen to your feedback. I would even go as far as saying Valve is basicly the only decent gaming company on the planet right now. Sorry for my poor english. But atleast give artifact a chance after the beta. Valve will listen to your feedback as icefrog has always done in our beutifull game dota. - sincerly a dota fan

No patch for four moths, patch releases on the 19th (late in half the world) and it's absolutely bugged out of its mind to the point where ranked is full of bug abuse and nearly unplayable. Think I've fallen for bait here. Also Dota players have been begging for seasonal battle passes again. Literally wanted to give valve money for skins and they can't provide. Dota plus isn't worth having and is still not efficient. They haven't released more skins for it in the year of it being out. Grimstroke was broken for way too long among other things. Either way as a fan of Dota I hope it's satan spawn lovechild of wannabe magic is dead on arrival.
It pains me that Kripp spent $450ish on packs when he coulda just waited to buy singles and it would have been wayyy cheaper. Doesn't he have experience with MtG? He should know this
