Just gonna make a general statement. I do not agree with running from police just to be clear. HOWEVER… if an experienced rider was piloting that bike, he would’ve been gone in 5 minutes max. He was a VERY inexperienced rider, almost hilariously a bad rider. Just making that general statement for everyone who thinks (holy crap the cop is keeping up). Hes a terrible rider. As I said I don’t run, but if I was in a situation where I did run on that bike, he’d be history, but I’ll never stoop that low.
Thanks for that. Sometimes, It’s just easier to check out and frankly the most dangerous thing in the video is the cop car doing 130 and bouncing around. However, in this case the turtle caught the rabbit. IMO, police should not chase sportbikes for simply speeding. The danger police expose to the public is not worth it.
His bike could've, he just couldn't ride it. He could only use the throttle on straight bits and he was shit scared of bends. I'm amazed at the parol car bouncing like a boat on the rapids at anything over 90mph. At it's limit at 130 too. How can a car with such a massive engine go so slow....

It's about time the US changed the law to allow cops to know riders off their bikes if they are putting people in danger. We had a growing spate of thefts from motorcyclists in the uk and the cops were not even allowed to chase them. We changed the law and now they can be knocked off their bikes if they don't stop and can't claim if they get injured in the process.
They are only allowed to do it if they are fully tpac trained and have to be authorised to use tactical contact by the pursuit commander on a case by case basis. Most areas still don't even authorise a pursuit when the rider isn't wearing a helmet for safety reasons and even though tactical contact on bikes is technically allowed by the iopc across the UK most places haven't adopted the policy as standard practice and only use it in extreme circumstances, the same as tactical contact on cars is usually avoided during a pursuit and used as a last resort.
I mean he’s blowing by driveways around not exactly open turns at 120+ if I lived out there in the country I’d appreciate it cause I don’t want to get hit by a 6000lb squad car pulling out of my driveway.

@@mikemhoon Well, what this guy did, 130 mph on two-lane road is stupid even for a pro, but the way he cornered was absurd, or couldn't maneuver around traffic deftly, etc. I hate to say this, but if I were in his shoes, I could easily have alluded that officer. I'm 52 and responsible so I most certainly would not have, but it wouldn't be hard to do. There were so many missed opportunities with this guy because he can't corner, can't judge things, can't drop gears properly, etc. Good thing he got caught, to be honest.
That rider was an embarassment to riders everywhere. Let alone an embarassment to humanity. I get to see so much interesting back country watching these...
I have a friend who lost control of his Honda motorcycle at 105 mph, because he hit a small stone in the road. Three weeks in the hospital, many broken bones, and lucky to be alive. What happens to a Dodge Charger at its 165 mph top speed, when it hits a small stone in the road? Nothing. That motorcyclist doesn't know the limitations of his own machine, and doesn't know what the Charger can do.
He just wasn’t a good enough rider to get away. He should have turned off after he put distance between them and then bursted away again after that first turn and made a couple turns to shake him. Simple. He just wasn’t smart enough to know going straight for a long period isn’t the answer unless you break 150mph
Exactly. The only way for running to be effective is to break visual contact. You need to be absurdly fast to do that in a straight line but if you manage to get past a few intersections/exits/off-ramps/whatever without the pursuant maintaining a visual they'll have to concede they're no longer able to chase.
@Daniel Hollingsworth Actually, I have, but that has nothing to do with the fact he doesn't even know how to lean to turn. Has nothing to do with 140 MPH, no eye protection or helmet. Besides, nobody told him to be stupid to begin with. LOL
"Why were you running?" "Because I could not fly!" I was amazed at how he the suspect, was able to quote the Bible, when he was being apprehended. And had the audacity to thank the cop for his service. Not to mention all the excuses for trying to outrun the ASP. Cop showed real professionalism. I've seen some cops that would have put their hands on him. Or took their Billy club and played the Star Spangled Banner on his casaba!
At the end here, when they caught up with him, instead of us looking at some trees some body cam footage of his takedown would have been nice! Thanks! Good job boys, in uniform! It did end better than I predicted!
This guy is either a new rider or has never ridden before. You can always tell in the way someone handles their bike how much experience they have. He had no idea what he was doing other than, "Twist throttle, go fast." He was shaky on turns, taking turns way too wide, putting his foot down, and he tried to make a left turn at an intersection and then thought better of it because he had no idea how to do it at speed without wiping. You can just see the lack of confidence and experience in his riding. I think the bike might have also had a bald back tire because it tried to slip out from under him just crossing the yellow line a couple times. Then again, he made it pretty far through that field and the woods so I could be completely wrong about all of that. Either I'm wrong or he got really lucky.
You could tell he was not a experienced bike rider the way he was taking curves at intersections an around cars . It surely surprised me he made it as far as he did. Great driving by the police.
This is what Sergy's channel used to look like then he started commenting over them and it ruined the whole channel THANK YOU FOR THE NO COMMENTARY Straight Action keep it up
This is a good example of why more and more Police Departments across the country have almost done away with high speed pursuits that began as a simple traffic infraction. The Trooper saw and recorded the license plate number but chased this idiot who obviously was not an experienced rider at speeds of 130 plus MPH down open highways but also through residential areas. In this country approximately 300 people die as a result of high speed Police pursuits each year and about one third of those killed were innocent bystanders. It comes to about 4200 innocent people dying over the last 40 years. I am saying all this because two of the innocent people that died were a young couple from my church that were killed when they were hit by a fleeing truck that the Police were chasing because of a broken taillight.
Maybe so, but there are a lot of people that would have left the popo in the dust. Just saying! Dude took horrible lines for nothing and the foot down on pavement in a slow turn, gives riders, who actaually know how to ride a bad name and hope to police who think they can actually catch a sportbike in the hands of a competent rider. Never mind his body position on the bike. :smfh:
According to Google Maps and the GPS coordinates of the video at the beginning and end with scenic tours of El Paso and Beebe Arkansas, that 34 mile drive should have taken 42 minutes at legal speeds. I think they made pretty good time, except they didn't finish the tour where the rider intended, so he's going to be pretty slow in a Conway County cell for a while.
@@michaeltrace1109 And after going through the intersection of highways 31 & 38 he stayed on 31 and would have ended up in Lonoke had he not turned off onto the side road, where the chase eventually came to an end.

In fact, I had people I arrested come up to me at the grocery store and thank me for treating them with respect and dignity. I always envied bartenders and waiter-staff. Their job is to make their customers happy, even if they walked in with a surly disposition after a bad day. If successful, they got a great tip and the customer went out of the establishment in a better mood. Police, as a rule, regularly encounter people having the worst day of their life........
The sheriff put the public in a lot of danger to catch a dumbass on a motorcycle!!!!
If your bike can’t outrun the fuzz, maybe don’t flee? Nice job asp.

Wow that guy was a rookie rider for sure!!
Wow! In Britain? That's impressive. The old home just isn't what it used to be.
They are only allowed to do it if they are fully tpac trained and have to be authorised to use tactical contact by the pursuit commander on a case by case basis. Most areas still don't even authorise a pursuit when the rider isn't wearing a helmet for safety reasons and even though tactical contact on bikes is technically allowed by the iopc across the UK most places haven't adopted the policy as standard practice and only use it in extreme circumstances, the same as tactical contact on cars is usually avoided during a pursuit and used as a last resort.
just about went NASA mode when that pickup pulled out in front of him !!
I love how they have their sirens on in the woods like there is a bunch of cross traffic or something
I use sirens in the middle of nowhere to keep animals out of the road, especially at night.
At the very least, it can help additional officers pinpoint location.

I mean he’s blowing by driveways around not exactly open turns at 120+ if I lived out there in the country I’d appreciate it cause I don’t want to get hit by a 6000lb squad car pulling out of my driveway.
Trooper Martin was on it like a duck on a June bug! Great job!!
It's so odd to me that the bike rookies would even try to do this. It looks like it's his first day on a motorcycle. Unreal.
No joke! Amateurs going over 100 mph on a motorcycle on a public road is just stupid! They make closed tracks for that!
It's sad really because as time passes the laws on riding are going to get tougher because of idiots like this, smh, this shit is pure pot head behavior, gonna be seeing alot if stupid shit to come as the states are slowly allowing it, part of the experience and fun when I was younger was the fact that it is illegal, like a mental note that hey I'm doing some outlaw shit low key, not now, people casually walk or in this case ride but soon walking and fucking it all up, this is your brain on drugs, in his mind he's got this handled, right huh!!!
@@wiseandhumble2470 I'm a 70s kid, so I totally get what you're saying.

31:33 "Are you hurt anywhere? Feelings? Pride?"

I missed that initially. That is funny!
Gonna let my dog loose! with no dog... AWESOME tactic!

@Daniel Hollingsworth Actually, I have, but that has nothing to do with the fact he doesn't even know how to lean to turn. Has nothing to do with 140 MPH, no eye protection or helmet. Besides, nobody told him to be stupid to begin with. LOL
@@randomjoe4106 Kudos...

I was amazed at how he the suspect, was able to quote the Bible, when he was being apprehended. And had the audacity to thank the cop for his service. Not to mention all the excuses for trying to outrun the ASP. Cop showed real professionalism. I've seen some cops that would have put their hands on him. Or took their Billy club and played the Star Spangled Banner on his casaba!
That’s the Lord’s Prayer, it’s literally something every Christian knows. It’s not like he was quoting random scripture.
Or because he was in a hurry.
Let's go get them with a smile 🤠🤠😁😁 on our face!! Hugs for the police officer 😉😉
You could tell he was not a experienced bike rider the way he was taking curves at intersections an around cars . It surely surprised me he made it as far as he did. Great driving by the police.

AND, to avoid traveling through Arkansas!!
That trooper was going to chase that guy to the gates of hell if he had to.. He wasn't going to quit

Trooper endangers EVERY other driver and pedestrian on the road or in public by driving 130 MPH to chase a motorcycle. BOTH are guilty of reckless driving and should be in jail.
That officer was very nice to the suspect after he got him. Didn't take it personally at all.
That's how it's supposed to be. I always told my guys, "At the end of the day, you're still getting paid the same amount of money. Making it personal doesn't change that and may end up costing you."
Unless a perp showed up at my house or threatened me later on the street (neither of which ever happened) it was all professional.

It is not only illegal for cops to chase bikes like this, it is extremely dangerous too. It is illegal because the biker could lose their life and the cop would be held responsible for anything that happens to the biker because the cop gave chase.
