I started off trying to look like Strange Aeons cuz the idea started out as a bit of a parody video... But as I went along it became too much of a project to just be a 'parody', you get me? Either way she did really inspire me to make this and I hope no offence will be taken by that awful cosplay at the beginning. I mean no harm with it

I feel ya, I will be 40 in a few months, and yet here I am, looking at long furbies, and probably will be interested in long furbies well into my fifties should the trend still be around ten years from now. my only regret is my mom not getting me my own furby when they first came out.

Aww your furby has the me sleep again glitch!! My friends does too and they hold the furb upside down while pressing the tongue for 15 seconds
She always says 'me sleep again' when I first flip the on switch, but if I just let her do her thing for a while she eventually wakes up by herself :) Sometimes there's a weird electronic noise when I put her on as well, but if I just wait for a while she eventually wakes up from that too. I tried the shaking thing before I made her long but it didn't do much in my experience.

Watching this while working on my long boy :) but I made the TERRIBLE mistake of trying to make the fur myself using yarn wefts. Its taking so long
Oh my, I once made yarn wefts for a lil doll custom and making enough for a tiny doll head was already... a lot of work. Good luck with that project!!

I love this so so much, not only I really love furbies and I'm pretty sure the one you got is the same model that I used to have as a kid. But the dedication you put into this is amazing, I think most people would have given up even before the furby stopped working but still you made it work, love how it turned out, amazing work keep making videos
She came out beautiful. Her emergency surgery was a bit traumatic lol.
I find that needle-felting polyester batting over the armature makes it hold shape over time. The stuffing can curdle into blobs over time.
The more you stripped it down.... it's just... pure nightmare fuel

I'm making my first long furby! Instead of buying an old one, I just found a spine and a 3d printed face plate (with glass eye chips included). Rn hes in the nightmare stage since I dont actually have the fur for him yet, hes just the faceplate glued to the spine. Strangæons also inspired me haha
SunBlight Studios what website or where did you find the spine I’m making mine as soon as my furby gets delivered and all I need is the spine

I had a few furbies as a kid in the 90's, they were indeed scary tho. I have a creepy furby too, it's nearly 2 feet tall and I won it at Knotts Berry Farm in California in 1999 as some giveaway thing. Scares everybody to death, it's bright red with black spots

honestly this is such a wholesome video. the happiness on your face when you are working on her, and then the confidence and love when bringing her in the city, it all gives me pure joy just to watch. she is a very lucky little furb! this community is so full of sweet humans beings and their fluffy companions. it's nice to see another happy furby caretaker, and an equally happy furby. congrats on completing this cutie! you two will do great things together!

im so glad you did this i was also inspired by BoyPorridge and finally i'm beginning the process but i realized i bought myself an electronic furby as well (my childhood one from 1998 was smashed in i wanna say 2004 by my cousin's foot, repeatedly, with no interruption from an adult so yeah :( rip furby) but anyway now i also want to keep it working after he becomes Long and im so glad i have this video to sort of guide me, thank you for your wisdom lol
