MY SECOND TH-cam CHANNEL FOR BEGINNERS (RUSSIAN LEVEL 1) - / @russianlevel1
ABOUT THIS VIDEO:
Today we’re going to listen to a real Russian dialogue (suited for beginners and intermediate learners) about a couple who is going to the restaurant. One of them thinks that they are late, and the other one is completely sure that they´re going to make it on time. This dialogue in Russian has a lot of conversational words that we, native Russian speakers, use all the time. In the video, I will give your English translation of all words and phrases from the dialogue. Keep watching if you want to learn real conversational Russian.
I love the way you broke this down! Fantastic teaching methods!,🥰
Glad it was helpful!
Really helpful approach and I like the style. Jolly good!
I loved this video! Please make more of the conversational dialogues. К шести двадцать пяти...
I´ll do! Very close, it´s "к шести двадцати пяти"
@@BoostYourRussian Спасибо, буду знать!
Спасибо за контент!
Очень хорошо! Спасибо большое! ❤️
Не за что!
You are excellent teacher, I can speak Russian thanks to your help. I studied in Poland during the socialism with scholarship that is why Russian is very easy , it is a slavonic family. I live in Canada but my root is South American.
Thank you! Wow, that is quite a mix of countries and languages
Another great lesson! Congratulations!
Thanks, Francisco!
My understanding was much better when you explained it. Thankyou!!!

Glad to hear that!
Thanks so much. You are one of the best teaching Russian in TH-cam. From Spain!!!
Thanks, Mayte! 😃
Thanks a lot, that's a very good way to teach Russian.
Happy to help!
Super vidéo!
Glad you liked it!
Your'e awesome! It helps tremendously when it's presented like this format. I respond very well with listening and comprehension under this form of teaching. Wish there's more of these lessons in Russian. Have to admit there's not many around. The individual words are more meaningful when structure in a context sentence. After you explain it in detail. Easier to grasp and seem to stick in memory. I think your'e on the right track. At least for me with this method. Then maybe for others it doesn't resonate and they have to rely on different methods. Everyone is unique. They have to find what works best for them. Keep up the good work! within next few days. I will sign up for your verb conjugation course. It should be a good foundation to build on. Regards!
Thanks for your feedback! I plan to record more videos like this one in the future. Looks like many people found this format helpful!

you are amazing......thanks alot
My pleasure!
Я выучил много новые слов и предложения. Большое спасибо
К шести двадцати пяти
Very nice session
Thank you 😊
Grazie.
Thank you! I really appreciate your support ❤️
It great that you provide the accent mark on the words to help with pronunciation which helps visually and auditory. I am a little confused with the time interpretation in English. Here in U.S. quarter past seven is 7:15 or one quarter of an hour. Where doe the eighth come in? Thank you. Enjoyed the video
Good illustrations for Russian language in particular for telling the time! Your english is brilliant as well so you must be a polyglot!
Thanks for watching! I speak some English and Spanish but I´m not fluent in either of them 😀
Good video.
Thanks!
Still I m learning
Can you please make a video on tense
Hello from Azerbaijan 🇦🇿Thank you for your great job and I want more of this video

Glad you liked it!
I understand the conversation to begin with
That´s fantastic!
Amazing the best teacher ever
Thanks
Please what is the meaning of
Kasaetsa .the same like zaweset Na pagoda like that please let me know
Thanks
Yes, they kind of mean the same but it would be easier to answer if you gave an example sentence that you were struggling with
выражение что я не знал это “час пик”, 👍😁
пик - так называют вершину горы. Или вершину графика дорожного движения. Час-пик - час, когда дорожное движение максимальное.
Огромное спасибо, 👍
Thanks for your helping 😊. By the way you forgot to explain some words in the dialogue, e.x.: вовремя, в любом случае. Besides, it is difficult to differ when we have to use (for example) «восми или восьмого» during conversation 😕 Russian is difficult for its suffixes. But anyway we try it🙂 and again thanks for your lessons 😇
Thanks! 😃
Привет привет!🇧🇷🇷🇺 Мой почтение Obrigado pelo vídeo))
Спсибо!
6 : 25 к шести двадцати пяти
What shall I do with my exercise books now.. I don't use them any more 😉
by 6:25: к шести двадцати пят? 👍? Thank you.
Скажите, пожалуйста, Кристина, «сколько время?» или «сколько времени?». Какой правильный?
Правильно говорить "сколько времени", но в разговорной речи чаще говорят "сколько время"
Привет, Kristina. Could I use “успевать” instead of “успеть”? I mean, in the phrase “Мы точно не будем успевать в этим пробкам” in the same sense? Thanks.
No, "успевать" in this particular example can´t be used. You´ll be understood if you use it but it´s not grammatically correct
Огромное спасибо, 👍
How can I say in Russian “by 4:30”? Could I say “k половине четырём”?? Спасибо.
К четырём тридцати или к половине пятого
Большое спасибо.
Thank you for your video! Great job! Сколько время instead of сколько времени? Do Russians speak like that??? Thank you kindly for your prompt reply!
yes, it´s not grammatically correct but it´s often used in conversational speech
By 6:25, к шести двадцать-пяти?
Close! К шести двадцати пяти
Ok. I watched video again and think I understand now. It would mean 15 minutes towards eight o'clock.
Correct! Четверть восьмого (7:15) literally means one quarter towards eight
@@BoostYourRussian I would say it means a "quarter into the 8th hour". "A quarter to 8" is 7:45 in English. Как сказать 7:45?
I know in Germany and Eastern Europe "half 8" means 7:30 but I didn't know it was the same for quarter hours.
К шести двадцать пяти = by 6:25
Close! К шести двадцатИ пяти
К шести двадцать-пять
Close! К шести двадцати пяти
Ещё вопросы. Как разница " где можно припарковать машину" и " где можно поставить машину"?
Это одно и то же. "Где можно поставить машину?" - более разговорный вариант
Я точно не понимаю разницу между "только что", "точно" и "как раз". Пожалуиста дайте мне вашу помощь.
the first means "just"- as in "she just closed the door"; the second is exactly. the third, I think is similar to kctatu, but not so sure.
k shest-davinatset-pyat?
“паниковать”, это слово (глагол) который я не знал. (Правильно?). Thanks.
(I hope).
Correct!
@@BoostYourRussian I don't get it. I thought we were supposed to say the name of the next hour if it's less than 30 minutes passed. Or is it different if it's ''By'' a certain time.
