Hi. I’m an English person and on month 10 of learning Russian. I’ve just fallen upon thus video. It has been EXCELLENT for practicing correct pronunciation. Very well designed. Thank you. I’ve subscribed.
@@pmacc3557 I’m still learning albeit more slowly and not as regularly. However I’m still enjoying the learning and don’t want to learn a different language.
Hello Kristina: just wanted to said your Russian lessons STAND OUT from the pragmatic point for beginners; your method is quite unique. OUTSTANDING!! keep up the good work thanks
Dear teacher, I would like to thank you a lot for your efforts in making these videos. I have subscribed to many Russian learning channels, and all of them are good, but I can say that this teaching style ( repeating, with visual russian subtitles) is the MOST efficient for me. thank you !
Dear Teacher I have found your your channel on Febrary 22 2020 pm. I like your videos very much because repeating three times very suitable for beginners who learn Russian language. Thank a lot. Regards
I also want to add: you have a very clear, understandable voice (which some people do not!) These phrases are very helpful because if I tried to learn individual words and put them together as I would in English, it would be wrong.
Thank you Kristina. This is a wonderful class for me as a Russian learning student. This video gave me an idea how to teach Japanese, as well. So fantastic.
I love this video! It helps me SO much to learn to pronounce correctly! I am a slow learner and this really helps! Also, one of the main things it is doing for me is helping me learn the letters. I read the Russian words as you pronounce them and I don’t look the English. Thank you so much! I am going to sign up for your course.
Thanks for this effort. These are very useful phrases that I frequently hear but didn't understand till now. I listened and repeated all phrases here. Please do more. I'm listening to your Cheburacha slow read chapters too. I subscribed. Many thanks.
I like your video very much and listen to them all the time. If you can make some videos with one time in English first then 3 times in Russian that will help a lot when I am in bed learning it without looking at the screen. For daytime learning it is better to have bigger word font size. Thank you so much for the slow Russian. Your voice and pronunciation is beautiful. I will expecting a lot more better videos.
Keep going, I´m sure you´ll achieve amazing results! Looks like you´ve already mastered the art of learning a foreign language, so it shouldn´t be too difficult to add one more to your collection :)
Very helpful video. Some cartoons that carry easy words for me to understand and practice them every day will be more than welcome. I have nobody to speak with in russian, and as a beginner , it would be good if I can hear simple conversation with simple words I learned so far. Thank you very much
It would be fantastic if you also read the phrase in English to learn while sleeping, thanks Seria fantastico si leyeras tambien la frase en ingles para aprender durmiendo... gracias
Thanks for another great video. "For me personally", I was not able to work out / comprehend with a few of the (m)(f) phrases if the (m)(f) were referring to the person "saying" the phrase or the person that the phrase was said "to" Some were OK but others confused me. Also, the 100 was a lot When I tried to go back over it a few times, I was not able to remember them as the gap between first hearing it and hearing it a second / 3rd / 4th time though, was still too much. But that is only me, I am a slow learner. I would have loved 20 instead of 100. So, I did 20 then returned to the start then did that a few times and it worked better. Then from 21 to 40, then 41 to 60, then 61 to 80, then 81 to 100. These smaller units were better "for me" I have not said that as criticism but to show how the number of 100 can be manipulated to 5 groups of 20. But then again, that would have given you "5" separate videos. ))) I don't know how the youtube payment thing works but hey, if 5 shorter videos gives you more money then great ))) but if 1 longer video gives you more then cool ))) Bottom line. Thanks for another great video
@@BoostYourRussian Please do not feel offended. Your videos are great! )) I was simply trying to explain how I take your great video and use it in the best way "for me" ))))
Sorry for the late reply! I would recommend you to watch a famous Russian sitcom called Кухня. I can´t say that it´s my favorite series but it´s great for learning Russian - full of useful slang and modern conversational phrases
Hi there! I'm looking for more instances on how to use давай. If my imaginary Russian friend cooks something and asks me if it tastes ok, is "Da! Davai!" suitable? Thanks! 💙
A lot of these sentences use "ты" (informal) instead of "вы" (formal/ plural). If you're a beginning learner of Russian, and don't really know any Russians ,wouldn't you more than likely be using the formal form of "you"?
Please send me an email at hello@boostyourrussian.com with more information about what programs you're talking about and how you tried to download them
Why can't I make the sounds that are coming out of her mouth? It's like my mouth is broken. I can't even mimic some of the things she says. But I'm not giving up!
I don't like this way of learning. The russian words are not translated, so you cannot memorise words, which you can use in other phrases. I am starving -in the original is -I (will) die of hunger. These two important words remain hidden behind the translation. .
