That is pretty bad if you want good sounding preamps for a low price. You are better of buying universal audio with their unison preamps, or audient preamps like asp 880. Which is more than capable of recording an album.
The art voice channel is a sleeper in the preamp world! It is super transparent, and sounds absolutely amazinig! I use it all the time, and i have avalon, manley, and neve preamps!
