- At 22 years old, Sean Dylan Kelly (@seandylankelly40) has a motorcycle road-racing resume that has taken him and his family from their home base in Miami around the world and now back again. Despite his young age, Sean is very wise and has experienced some of the extreme highs and lows of racing that we consistently talk about throughout our various episodes.
Sean's highs include racing in the Moto2 World Championship, while his lows involve facing the reality that he will have to put his dream of racing abroad on hold. In 2024, he will return home to race in MotoAmerica Superbike as a rookie.
Sean shares his childhood experiences with us, detailing his time in Europe racing Moto2 and how it has shaped him both as a racer and a human being. We hope you enjoy this episode of Pipe Dreams!

As a motorcycling racing fan, I find it hard to find a quality podcast that goes deeper than just covering the results of race weekends. I love listening to the stories of these riders and really enjoyed this one. Thanks guys!
Thank you for listening and your comment!
This was fun, thanks again guys!!
Keep charging. Had some bad breaks but it will click. Go stack some wins and really spice up the championship 🤙
SDK just won a new fan! The way he is grateful for the sacrifices his parents made and is now sharing in his success is something to be commended!
Awesome. Thanks for the listen!
What a journey Sean! It was a pleasure to have you here in Mexico in the RC CUP and to be on that adventure in Silverstone, things that last a lifetime. Thanks guys for the podcast, we are big fans. By the way we have to do something in America as a continent to shorten that gap for the future generations, so they can build their careers here and not in Europe. Greetings 🏁
Thanks for listening! Also that is awesome you have a program for the younger generation. Full Gas
Great pod 👍🏻. Took me a few days to find 3 hours but it was worth it. This was at Barber, so i’m sure SDK is even more stoked for the season lol.
