Parking garage a-hole story from a non-rider: you know they make those arms out of wood? I was in a garage with an unattended gate and the machine wouldn't read my ticket. The screen said "NOT READ - SWIPE CREDIT CARD" and let me tell you, I was unwilling to let them have my credit card info when I had no idea how much they were going to attempt to charge me. Given that another car had queued behind me and those the only way out was forward, I went forward. Pro-tip: you want to inch up to the gate until it just touches the A-pillar of your vehicle, and then drive through as you pick up just a little speed so the arm snaps off relatively cleanly. I'm told.
A kid I went to high school with hit a rail road gate with his face trying to beat a train on his motorcycle and end up paralyzed. I think the rail road ones are made of something stronger.
@cowmath77 Probably, my assumption was that the landlords/managers assume someone will bulldoze through them, and got something that can be cheaply replaced. You don't assume someone's gonna bulldoze through railroad gates
Guilty as charged! Just last night I went around the parking garage arm. Background: in a crowded part of town. No street parking available, found a garage. Pulled up to the gate to get my ticket…but my K1600 wasn’t big enough to trigger the ticket machine. I tried calling the attendant. No answer. I went around the arm with the intent to pay on the way out. Again, no attendant. I went to a machine and selected the “lost ticket” option …$20.50. Nope. I round out and around the gate arm. Cheers guys!
This reminds me of something I read on a Magic the Gathering Card.. "Those who most feel guilty often dont need to while those who most need to feel guilt often never do."

Edited for addition: She was willing to put her life on the line so all of us can have the freedom to ride, the ‘brother’ said “who cares” and screwed her over. I had a BMW dealer replace the rear brake pads on my R1100RS as part of a state inspection. I when I picked up the bike, I asked to see the old pads (since I NEVER use the rear brake) - they told me they had thrown away the worn out pads. I told them there was no way I wore out a set of rear pads in 20K miles (since I NEVER use the rear brake). They said it's customary to replace OE pads on bikes with 20K miles... again I told them I NEVER use the rear brake. Needless to say, I NEVER visited that dealer again!
@@kd350I have a university degree in mechanical engineering and can assure you my 1998 R1100RS does NOT have linked brakes. I can lift the back tire off the pavement with the front brake (i.e. no traction in air - thus no need for rear brake). There are some very specific conditions where I will use the rear brake, however these conditions occurred less than a dozen times before the incident described above (certainly not enough to cause any significant wear). BTW - my BMW now has 98,000 miles and is still on the rear pads install by that unscrupulous dealer at 20,000 miles!!
I specifically asked for my old brake pads back to see what 50% means to them, not to complain, but to have data from the world famous Ducati dealer, they provided them, because I asked first. However, I asked for the air filter back, a few hours after authorization for a new one and they said they could not return it… which wasn’t great news but not the metaphorical hill I wanted to die on. This was while getting a new back tire , I let them Keep and paid for them to recycle the tire, (obviously?)..
As so many of these a-hole questions are regarding parking. I have recently begun calling out everyone about parking like an a-hole. Most responses are “I was just going to be there for a minute”. That minute never is a minute. When you park, pretend you will not be returning until tomorrow. Every time. You will almost never be the a-hole. Wether it’s a parking garage or delivering messages.
I'm retired and would go out of my way to park my Grom on the sidewalk. I live on the Canadian Prairies where motorcycle density is low. If you're careful about not parking in a way that causes inconvenience to anyone, nobody will get upset about it. I have been approached by security folks but they were just interested in the cuteness of the Grom. I don't think a ratted out Harley adorned with skull stickers would get such favourable treatment.
Great episode as always! Just want to point out that this episode did not come out on my subscription tab. I had to go the the RevZilla channel and then to the podcast tab in order to view it. You guys may be missing out on viewers because of that.
Forgive and forget is the cry of an A**hole. A person should never carry around the hate, anger of things that have happened to them or been done to them by anyone it is unhealthy. A person should forgive not the person but the action and move on from it for their own well being but that does not mean you have to have that person around you to do it again or to forget it happened and leave yourself open for someone else to do the same thing to you.
To clarify I don't hate him. I don't feel anything for him. Even pity. His life has be a Sh!t show ever since. So I feel like thats karma. I refuse to let him possibly take advantage of me or anyone close to me again though. Fool me once and all that.
Hey, you never answered Samantha's questions, so I will. 1) Clip-ons are handles used for steering attached directly to the forks (typically on a sport bike) as opposed to one long handlebar. 2) The number of degrees on a crankshaft (as in 270 deg.) in this case refers to when the combustion strokes occur in relation to degrees of crankshaft rotation. It's one of many things that determine the characteristics of an engine. 3) A slipper clutch allows for smooth gear downshifts in case your engine revs are not properly matched to the speed of the whole motorcycle. This prevents the rear wheel from locking up on you and increases safety. Hope this helps!
In San Francisco there are a bunch of timed lights. Do 30MPH and you you cruise through them all. Hit 40 and you stop at every light. Squid on a a sports bike gets stopped and pops a wheelie next to a guy on a moped. Squid gets stopped at next l light. Moped gets stopped. Moped pulls a wheelie. Squid feels dumb.
The problem with the premise of “am I the a-hole” is that the people who have the self awareness to even ask, usually aren’t. They may be an a-hole in another regard, but then, they likely don’t even know to ask about it
As an auto mechanic for over 20 years, shops are not required to hold old parts for a customer unless they request them prior to start of the work. It’s a bureau of auto repairs thing. That being said, I always made sure to hang on to the old parts just in case they wanted them back. Asking for the parts a few weeks later?…no chance. You can’t expect them to just hang on to it that long. The same day you pick it up and for the old parts? That’s a different issue. I think the powersports industry is lacking in oversight from something like the BAR / consumer affairs. Customers definitely need to communicate up front.
When I was a despatch rider in London back in the day, I parked my bike on the pavement, and as I came out of the building I'd delivered to, I watched in horror as a blind man with a cane walked straight into it. I still feel awful about it.
Unfortunately, my wife is handicapped and needs the sidewalk access to move about. She is a former SV650 rider and understands the desire to park closer to the door. We feel saddened when a bike is blocking the sidewalk needed for her walker/wheelchair. Her right to use the sidewalk is protected by ADA laws
@revzilla on topic of going around parking gates, part of the issue here is the sensors (loops) that arm the gates. They may not pick up the motorcycle to pull a ticket, and because these loops also control the gate arm action, there is a risk of the gate arm coming down on a rider. That is the more probable reason for that attendant to direct the rider through the pedestrian walkway. And also why in that particular story, they are not the “A” hole.
Another awesome episode, as for driving tech on motorcycle just the basic ABS , traction control,... no other lane assistance, .... Because the freedom of riding is why we ride. Keep up with great work 😊❤❤
Funny you mentioned the car stereo, I had my car stereo stolen while it was in the repair shops possession back when I was in the Air Force. They said they weren't responsible for what happened while the vehicles were in the lot.
Their possession, their liability. Lol suggesting they have a right to smash your stuff with a sledge hammer because they parked it in their lot first.
Wrenched for 40 years. Don't want your crap. Plus people feel better if you dhow them the parts and you explain why you changed them. It's something tangible for people who may not understand the abstract 😅😅😅. Just good business😮
im gonna blow your minds here - all of our parking garages here in singapore are built with motorcycles in mind, in one of 3 ways - first, my favourite, the arm doesn't clear the whole gap and there's a tiny motorcycle sized lane marked with paint that we're meant to use to access our (deserved) free parking (usually found at publicly funded infrastructure like sports stadiums, concert venues and rec centers), 2, there's a painted motorcycle detection zone in front of the arm that's specifically designed to pick you up (housing estates, shopping malls, business parks), or 3 (the shittiest version, often in only the fanciest shopping malls downtown) - there's just a big no motorcycles allowed sign out front.
My fave HSLS conversation in a long while. Very relatable, as I had one of those A**hole situations happen to me. Imagine me, 30 y.o. woman and my father's friend visits my father and sees my motorcycle parked in a front yard. Asks me if he can take it for a spin, I say sorry but no, (because NO, and also because I know that he has crashed and totaled at least two cars that were not his own but borrowed.) He swings his leg over my bike and while i am looking at him in a disbelief, he turns on an engine starts the bike and leaves. Comes back in about 15 minutes that felt like eternity. The motorcycle is fine. but still. What an A**hole!
Wow am I late on this one. I have a good excuse though my lady took me to our nations capitol for my birthday. I have never been there and we both had an excellent time, and Ill turn things back over to the gasholes lol! I learned that driver/rider aid lesson the hard way. My last car had blind spot detection, suffice it to say its no substitute for a head check. #1 If that were my brother he would have found himself on the business end of a lawsuit. #2 Nope and you should have sued in small claims. #3 This will vary person to person but I'd say more than casual friends before just doing something like that. #4 Also no as you are not a guy in a circus. #5 I'd say you might be a bit of an AH for parking on the sidewalk but not in a space. #5A lil bit yeah, its called theft of service. #6 I'd say no, your ride your rules. Spurge all chaps are assless as they were originally designed for horseman to protect their pants and legs. I concur with Patrick that Spurge was not the AH in that instance. #7 I'd say Marcy is not but I dont think her husband is either. Assuming its just some innocent rides I'd say its fine but if Marcy, as the wife, says I dont like it then stop. Yes, please more of these episodes, good food for thought. Im thinking its Patrick golden HD offroader! lol Another great show old sports see you in 1 week.
The guy I used for suspension would keep my springs if I didn’t tell him I want them. He said they were “core replacement” even though I bought new springs when I paid for the job. The last time I used him, I brought him springs, he kept my old ones, and charged me the same price as if I didn’t bring him springs. I found a new guy after that.
I never park in the sidewalk, and always park towards the 'back' end of a parking space (where the back end of a car is when they nose in), so that people are not fooled into thinking the space is empty. That said, I hope you remain ticket free, and you don't piss off any people that use the sidewalk.
The one about someone sitting on your bike can boil down to a safety issue. One of my strange friends who used to ride swung a leg over my bike and immediately tried to start it in gear without pulling the clutch! It’s easy for people to get complacent, had I disconnected the sensor in the kickstand that little hiccup could have resulted in a rather nasty situation. We, as the motorbike owners have a responsibility to keep everyone as safe as possible around our machines.
I spent 25 years riding in San Francisco, and parking was a nightmare. People were universally happy that I didn't take space by using the sidewalk as long as I was careful to not block entrances or wheelchair pathways.
While I have no issue with a motorcycle parking in a parking lot spot (and people that do need to get a life, it's 100% legal and legit), parking on the sidewalk does bother me. What if someone comes along on a wheelchair? A kid on a scooter? Not cool.
That first one is a monumental level of betrayal. I would never forgive that. He'd be dead to me. Doesn't exist and not safe to be in the same room with me.
I was actually taught to park on the sidewalk, coming from a hot region, the risk of a kickstand pushing through the asphalt and coming out to find the bike on its side. But, don't park in front of a door, emergency exit, handicap ramp etc. Be smart about it. If the parking lot has dedicated motorcycle parking (concrete) then park in the bike parking area. But even then, if a bike parks in a car spot when bike spots are available, as a facility manager, I have received complaints from that, but is it really different? How about when cars park in the bike spaces when it is snowing and winter, how about in the spring after snow melts, can a car park in a bike space year round? How about end of the parking row, they have stripped round areas that a car can't fit, but a bike does? People get too upset where bikes park to be sure...
I am not the A-hole. I only ride my bike back and forth to church and youth group and I never go above the speed limit. Thanks to progressive for sponsoring this video. I have their insurance
Regarding the question about the parking lot fees: there is an issue here in Romania. The automatic entrances do not detect motorcycles because there is no registration number in the front and because the motorcycles are too small. Also we do not have people at the entrance guarding it. Because of these reasons and the fact that the doors do not open for us, then we have to go around and park in a space which is not a car parking spot and also we do not pay for the parking. This is a corner case that I think is worth mentioning 😊 Cheers!
At most of the dealers I have worked with, they will give you your parts back *if asked*, and you have you / ask / fill out the forum : ‘yes I want my parts back’ / forms say things like ‘parts must be picked upon within five days’ etc.
don't agree with the parking garage one. "it's stealing"? When you're not using a parking spot they're not losing any income. Will someone please think of these poor parking garage owners!
I guess I can weight in on the parts thing. As a career bike mechanic, I've run into this a few times and just developed a personal policy over time about it. Like you guys said, wear items like pads, chains, sprockets/cassettes, are assumed to be tossed unless they're just a swap to a different component and not necessarily waste. An exhaust I see as an item that is still completely usable and has value or may be something that needs to be re installed at some point. I think some fault lies with the shop in not offering it back, but it isn't reasonable for a customer to expect a service area to be a customer bullshit storage zone, especially for something heavy and ugly that takes up a bunch of space like an exhaust system, tires, handlebars, stuff like that. If days, even WEEKS have gone by, don't expect that to be held for you.
Okay so the hospital near me has bike specific parking with a ramp off the footpath that leads straight to it, avoiding the pay for parking, and the ramp is easily accessible by tbe road, so i and everyone uses it and no one gets a ticket ever. Also, any public parking at shopping centres have let's say 3 hours of free parking and when you leave they read your front number plate with a camera and let you out or make you pay because you've been there too long, obviously that doesn't work foe a bike which doesn't have a front plate. So most places either have bike parking bypassing the boom gate anyway or the boom gate isn't full length so that a bike can get passed
Talking about Motorcycle Driver Assistance, remember that many of the cage "assistance" features became mandated. How long until lane centering and self driving are mandated on Monocycles? I'm 58, and have been riding over 40 years and I'd venture a guess that before another 40 years goes by powers that be will try and mandate all kinds of things that take driving out of the motorcyclist's power! They are already restricting power and noise in other countries to the point that those bikes are ending up here. In the late 70s the US Government tried to restrict Motorcycle noise. AMA was their to fight it. I'm excited about assistance that helps the rider, but a lot of times that goes from assistance to mandates. I joined AMA to help keep our rights and mandates saine. Looking at AMA's last (100) year history they have a done a lot to keep motorcyclists and motorcycles clear from needless mandates. Think about joining if you are a lifelong motorcyclist. Cheers!
I bought a set of wheels for my jeep. I took them to a national tire retailer to have the tpms installed on the new wheels and tires. The shop tried to keep the factory wheels and acted surprised i wanted them. I will not return to that location.
How much sooner would I have to replace parts if I never clean my sealed chain? I feel like the answer is there would be no difference because the dirt collects on the outside and the moving parts have the lube sealed in.
Great video pod cast. I would love to hear definition's from the motorcycle dictionary. Not so much for me but so I can learn how to explain some of it to others.
The thing with parking is that, in many places, you need to leave the ticket "in" your vehicle as proof you've paid - especially parking meter on the street, but I encountered some parkin facilities with the same policy. How am I supposed to do this with a bike? Even if I had tape on me to secure the ticket, anybody could just take it. One of the situations where I feel persons responsible for traffic stuff often simply forget there are other vehicles than cars...
In my state (NC) the law states that you are to park your motorcycle using the same rules as cars, so you are legally obligated to park your bike in parking spots. It's technically illegal (enforcement is its own thing) to park on the sidewalk.
Re parking on footpath - I don’t know what law is elsewhere, but in Victoria Australia you’re allowed to park on footpath as long as don’t block the path. Unless specifically marked. It absolutely saves parking spots for cars and I generally feel my bike is a little safer so I love that we can do it. That said, bikers who block the footpath or rev the crap out of their bikes on start up or leaving, they are a holes unquestionably
From an European point of view, parking on the sidewalk is tollerated, as long as there is enough space for passerbys. Parking garages here often have shorter "arms" so that bikes can pass beside them. It's acceptable not to pay as far as I know, especially as you do not take up a parking space. In both cases it's normal to park on bicycle spaces, which is technically illegal, but ignored as there are not enough parking spaces anywhere and police knows that.
Car space is fine. Sidewalks have regulations, so I don’t do that. A further question is: ‘the ethics of sharing a car parking spot with a strangers bike already there but with room’…
For the dilema #5 parking in parking spot is perfectly ok, I may expand a little - with friends we once parked on payed parking lot, 4 bikes in 1 spot, payed for one spot and left trough the ramp close together. Also parking on sidewalks depending on where you live it might be ok, in my country if you leave at least 1.5m space on sidewalk, you can park your motorcycle.
I'm very excited for the next podcast wirh Peter Egan as guest. As like Spurg, he has been a huge inspiration in my life. Hopefully Spurg doesn't fan girl too hard and scare him away from further guest appearances.
I've never seen a stranger on my bike. Definitely glad on that one. I have sat on my good neighbor's new bike to just tobuse it as a chair, temporarily. Then he tossed me his keys then I ripped it down the street. We are close so he didn't care. He actually wants me to get the same bike to add to the garage, lol.
Going around the parking garage arm is 100% okay with me. Sorry Spurge but I don't think it's really possible (definitely not unethical) to steal from a large corporation (which probably isn't based in the city the garage is in tbh)
Many parking garages give you 15 minutes for free, incase you don't find a parking space. A quick run in and out would likely be free anyway. But, if you don't take a ticket, they usually charge you for 24 hours, or longer. Best to take the ticket and see if you can weasel out of it later.
I can confirm, that can happen, that a women approaches you, with the idea she would like to come with you on the back of your bike. It happened with me about 10 years ago in London U.K. I have parked up to buy something. When i returned to my bike, two young women approached me and one suggested she would like to come with me, don't remember how exactly the conversation went, but i remember explaining myself, even if it would be an option,we have got one helmet between the three of us, so it definitely cannot happen. Up to date i find it odd, but at the time seemed like a genuine request. Well, we'll never find out if really was.
Long time listener and long time rider. I’ve been listening for ages and always enjoyed the discourse. I however also think that in this episode you’re a bit hypocritical about parking. My only point is this. If I have to pay for parking and pay full price, you better believe I’m taking up my whole damn car parking space so not even another bike fits in. You can’t have it both ways that’s just hypocritical. Ps my whole family already has T-shirts and loves them. Keep it up
Have any studies been done about the rates of antisocial traits in motorcyclists? In my experience/opinion, I've seen a higher rate of antisocial behavior by bikers than the general population. I can brainstorm some potential explanations for that, but I wish there was actual data from a large sample
In some ways riding a motorcycle is antisocial, secular. The rider is by themselves, mostly just doing their own thing, not in combination with anyone else, usually
Many years ago I remember hearing a story on the news about Harley riders that they are more likely to bring their wives flowers and some other random positive trait like helping someone out. And that stuck with me, but who knows it was probably a study sponsored by Harley-Davidson themselves trying to make their so-called tough customers look like angels LOL.
I sat on someone's bike without permission. There was a line up of bikes presented by a manufacturer, and I didn't notice that this one was modified. The owner wasn't pleased and I could have been more apologetic but it didn't click right away
I am 100% here for Spurgeon's eugenics podcast. And in some instances I am arguably the a**hole. But the low and continually declining state of cage driver skill and the terrifying reality that most drivers are continually distracted by the gadgets the manufacturers include in modern cars, being an a**hole is a necessary survival skill.
When it comes to riding with others I need to be able to trust their skills, their judgement, and for them to have very predictable behavior. I’m all for a quick pace through fun roads or being a goon and lifting either wheel when the situation allows for it but if I start seeing over cooked turns, ripping it in areas with side streets/parking lots, or passing in sketchy areas than I’m done. Group ride over. Solo I go yo. I’ve got tons of buddies who ride, but only two riding buddies.

@@danielklopp7007Honda 1000RR here, I never use the rear pads also.
This was while getting a new back tire , I let them
Keep and paid for them to recycle

My blood pressure went up just imagining someone sitting on my bike uninvited.
I don't necessarily forgive/forget. I definitely move on, but there are lots of people I'll never forgive, and that's ok.
To clarify I don't hate him. I don't feel anything for him. Even pity. His life has be a Sh!t show ever since. So I feel like thats karma. I refuse to let him possibly take advantage of me or anyone close to me again though. Fool me once and all that.

You don't forget. You hold them to that new standard.
Well done on this one.
They may be an a-hole in another regard, but then, they likely don’t even know to ask about it
yes i am an a**hole! sometimes

#4- I ride an MT07, people rarely need to ask for a wheelie! You damn right I am going to give them what they asked for!
When I was a despatch rider in London back in the day, I parked my bike on the pavement, and as I came out of the building I'd delivered to, I watched in horror as a blind man with a cane walked straight into it. I still feel awful about it.
He was pretending after he failed to purposely knock over your bike
Unfortunately, my wife is handicapped and needs the sidewalk access to move about. She is a former SV650 rider and understands the desire to park closer to the door. We feel saddened when a bike is blocking the sidewalk needed for her walker/wheelchair. Her right to use the sidewalk is protected by ADA laws
What if 2 people on bikes share a paid parking spot? Can one of them sneak past the gate without being an asshole?
Zack is so good at wheelies in his mind they are comparable to littering.
As an avid motorcyclist and a professional truck driver. I can assure you the vast majority of the population should not be allowed to drive😂
Well, Singapore is an amazing place. We don't need to hear about other great things from fairy tale land.
Abuser he seems.
Lol that's literally a felony.
In SF in the '80s I always parked on the sidewalk next the door, split traffic, sped & did wheelies & was all legal, mostly....
Everything the Scorpio killer did was also mostly legal, and look what detective Callahan did to him.
I can't do a wheelie, but I can litter. Guess that my new thing.
The guy I used for suspension would keep my springs if I didn’t tell him I want them. He said they were “core replacement” even though I bought new springs when I paid for the job. The last time I used him, I brought him springs, he kept my old ones, and charged me the same price as if I didn’t bring him springs. I found a new guy after that.
after my bike was tipped over by a truck backing into a parking spot, i ALWAYS park up on a sidewalk. never once gotten a ticket for it.
I never park in the sidewalk, and always park towards the 'back' end of a parking space (where the back end of a car is when they nose in), so that people are not fooled into thinking the space is empty.
That said, I hope you remain ticket free, and you don't piss off any people that use the sidewalk.
@christopherbiomass7155 i'll take a ticket over a totalled bike any day 👍
Yeah one time someone backed into my f-250 and scratched it pretty bad. Now I park on the sidewalk too.

Someone once backed their Prius into my 18 wheeler and totaled his car. I now park my 18 wheeler on small cars.
Zack would not mind Ari to get on the bike without asking, but I am guessing most of the times Ari will still ask him.
Not cool.
Plenty of places where you can park on a sidewalk and leave plenty of room for wheelchairs and foot traffic.
This is a corner case that I think is worth mentioning 😊
Cheers!
Paying for parking on a motorcycle is so ridiculous
Before I start watching the episobe: "Yea I am."

Great show from my point of view. Learned quite a bit. Thank you.
Cheers!
Blame insurance companys. They are root cause of such mandates
Hahahha “Talk about speed dating” killed me
I bought a set of wheels for my jeep. I took them to a national tire retailer to have the tpms installed on the new wheels and tires. The shop tried to keep the factory wheels and acted surprised i wanted them. I will not return to that location.
I agree… Learning to ride a motorcycle in traffic (well) makes you a much better driver!
Yes.
You. I like you.
As to a suspension shop returning wear items to the customer @21:12 This is done to provide visual evidence that the work was indeed completed.
Motorcycles shouldn't have to pay for parking as long that there are specific parking spots and should pay less for tolls.
If specific spots are made for motorcyclists, they should pay, but pay less, same as tolls should be less

Peter Egan is a truly special person. I loaned out "leanings" a decade ago and never got it back. I don't blame the person for not returning it.
Keep original parts (stock exhaust especially) so you have them to put back on to clear a fix-it ticket.
For the terminology episode suggestion maybe this would be a good topic for a shop manual episode that way visuals can go along with the terminology.

Stealing from a corporation? That’s a joke 😂
Going around the parking garage arm is 100% okay with me. Sorry Spurge but I don't think it's really possible (definitely not unethical) to steal from a large corporation (which probably isn't based in the city the garage is in tbh)
Kind of like pirating movies yeh?
@@_Makanko_ movies are a product. private parking lots are basically just theft.
Many parking garages give you 15 minutes for free, incase you don't find a parking space. A quick run in and out would likely be free anyway. But, if you don't take a ticket, they usually charge you for 24 hours, or longer. Best to take the ticket and see if you can weasel out of it later.
Patrick is not going to sleep tonight….crushed.
Yes, next question?
I can confirm, that can happen, that a women approaches you, with the idea she would like to come with you on the back of your bike. It happened with me about 10 years ago in London U.K. I have parked up to buy something. When i returned to my bike, two young women approached me and one suggested she would like to come with me, don't remember how exactly the conversation went, but i remember explaining myself, even if it would be an option,we have got one helmet between the three of us, so it definitely cannot happen. Up to date i find it odd, but at the time seemed like a genuine request. Well, we'll never find out if really was.
I always ask them how many people were in that land yacht the were trying to park. 9 times out of 10, it's the same number as the people on my bike.
I was quite excited for this one when I saw the title, but just like the subreddit, pretty much all of the questions were total softballs.

Then wtf is with all these people riding in groups and pairs? Disgusting
