Thank you for the video. I'm in the process of making electrostatic headphones and use this to refer people to to see what one looks and sounds like up close.
@@zblus I got a bit delayed beyond making a small driver, but just a personal project. Electrostatic headphones are the simplest to make, and in theory, the best. It can be as simple as some kitchen wrap (around 8 micron) rubbed with graphite dust, then suspended on the spacer between two stators. The 0.5-0.7mm gap and stator material with good rigidity and opening ratio is harder though. I've heard perhaps microwave oven grates, but a lot of hobbyists CNC the spacers and the stators from single sided fibreglass circuit board. You can even use a PCB service like pcbway. And probably use mylar since it'll last better, and others use floor cleaners or such that have a very low conductivity residue they leave for the membrane coating.

Are you making to sell? 😮 Or just personal project

Absolutely recommend this pair
got mine 2 days ago and love them
how where you able to use the input of the harman kardon stereo amp for if there are no rca outputs?
tfw old stax over TH-cam from a smart phone sound better than my sus stack ❤️
did you remove the foam thats sepose to be aroudn de driver? most stax lambdas have a foam aroud the driver to protect it from particles and dust
You can see through them, a literal transparent audio source
