hello friend, you absolutely rightly said about stax Nova, for a month I listened to stax 007 mk 1, stax 009s, stax 700, stax sr Nova, everything sounds interesting in its own way, but stax sr nova the sound is right in front of you, the singer is singing, shocked by its sound, thanks for the great review
Hi! Yes, the nova sig is awesome, amazing value for the money in terms of sound. I don't listen to the nova sig much because I find the 007mk1 better in every way :)
I really like the tonality of my Lambda Nova Signature, my 2nd favourite estat after the SR-007 MK1. The low end is a little soft & it is not the most detailed from the Lambda series, that goes to the Lambda Signature. But the LNS has a great mids, it’s natural sounding & an easy listen. It’s probably the hardest to power out of all Lambda headphones. Old Stax headphones are fragile & delicate, I’ve 3x SR-007 MK1 & annoyingly 1 of them developed a fault in the cable. So buying any of these is a risk, also the SR-007 MK1 is still probably the hardest to power out of all estats. That is definitely something to note.
