Every American should be taught about the battle for Baltimore, shortly after Washington D.C. had fallen and the White House was burned to ashes the brave self sacrificing men of Fort McHenry held off the British fleet saving Baltimore. The story behind our anthem is truly moving. When we sing "brought proof through the night the are flag was still there" It is meant quite literally. . God has truly blessed and protected America

I'm thinking that in 1942, every person would have stood up for the playing of the song. And I have to wonder, how many would stand up and sing if it were played in a movie theater today?

It reads, "United We Stand, Divided We Fall" , and we are greatly divided. The day of settlement is coming. Not in a biblical sense, but in the crumbling of a civilization sense. I see now why the last true Capitalist, set our economy as a corner stone for the world. It was to help the true patriots when the socialist came.
The United States has always been divided. There have been very few cases where the US hasn't been. Even during the American Revolution, only 1/3 of Americans agreed with the cause. The division has just widened.

I am an American, I know how lucky I am to be living in my beautiful country. I am grateful for my freedoms we have. It is very unfortunate how many other people will never get to see the luxuries me and my fellow Americans have. Very, very unfortunate.

So, you limit yourself as a good person to avoid such a thing, but then that also means you limit what others can do; that's what laws are. That's our limited freedom, it gives us coexistence with each other.
