@Maxime Renauld Corsica was italian until 1768 exactly 15 months before Napoleone's birth..... He was Italian at least before he went to french school at age 8 (because his language "corsu" was illegal and to this day it's not recognized by the french state) corsica was never french it was italian from roman times and the french violated the treaty of versailles and illegally occupied the island.
@Maxime Renauld Corsica was occupied only 15 months before his birth he didn't knew french until he was 8 years old his first language was corsican and the second french, he was Italian, simply decided to fight for france because he was power hungy and wanted more stuff for himself. If you are born in 1942 Paris you are not german even if at that time Paris was a german city. It's the same thing except corsica was stolen illegally and never made indipendent or autonomous... France is the worst country at handling minorities many people were deprived of their culture by france, occitan and provencal 2 languages now almost dead, breton, alsatian, Ligurian in Nice, catalan and even corsican. All of these peoples were never french nor wanted to be french, and now even if france owns them they should at least be given autonomy. Every country does this except for france, Spain has galicia and catalonia, Italy sardinia, furlan, sicilian, neapolitan, franco-provencal, german-bavarian and even slovene, Germany is a federal repubblic. When he died he asked to be buried in Paris (to make the people happy) but if Paris was unavailable the second choice was Aiaccio in corsica

We're a shadow of our former selves, and it will lead to our end, especially when getting devoured by the European Union and foreign countries. So back to the subject, yes. It's precisely because we discarded Napoleon after a few defeats and got shitty leaders in place afterwards that we never saw a man like this again. Charles De Gaulle prevented France from degrading more than it was because of WW2 and traitors trying to profit from it all, and he was the closest to be a Napoleon-like leader in spirit despite being a president, but even he eventually broke mentally and finally died. Our great men today are being demonized by the medias kind of like what western medias do with Putin and Russia, and they last shorter and shorter in time. Even at its weakest state we can come back, we're are the crossroad of France's History, and it's up to us, a minority of French people, to get it back on track, and either recover like the Hundred Years War, or disappear like many great civilisations that lasted centuries and even milleniums did before us.

"Soldats !
Soldiers! I am happy with you. You have at the Austerlitz day, justified everything I expected from your intrepidity; you have decorated your eagles with immortal glory. An army of 100,000 men, commanded by the Emperors of Russia and Austria, was, in less than four hours, either cut off or dispersed. What escaped your iron is drowned in the lakes. Forty flags, the standards of the Imperial Russian Guard, 120 pieces of cannon, 20 generals, more than 30,000 prisoners, are the results of this forever famous day. This much-vaunted infantry, and outnumbered, could not withstand your shock, and now you have no more rivals to fear. Thus, in two months, this third coalition was defeated and dissolved; Peace can no longer be distant, but, as I promised my people before crossing the Rhine, I will only make a peace which gives us guarantees and secures rewards to our allies. Soldiers, when the French people placed the imperial crown on my head, I entrusted myself to you to maintain it always in that lofty splendor of glory which alone could give it value in my eyes. But at the same time, our enemies were thinking of destroying and debasing it! And this iron crown, conquered by the blood of so many French people, they wanted to force me to place it on the heads of our most cruel enemies! Reckless and senseless plans which, on the very day of your Emperor's coronation anniversary, you annihilated and confused! You taught them that it is easier to defy us and threaten us than it is to defeat us. Soldiers, when all that is necessary to ensure the happiness and prosperity of our homeland is accomplished, I will bring you back to France; there you will be the object of my tenderest concerns. @@felicepompa1702 true, France has supressed cultural diversity since the french revolution. It's even said in the french constitution that france is "indivisible" meaning that there is only the french people. (For example, the national assembly tried to make a law that would have been enforced in corsica only, but the constitutinal council refused it because there is no corsica, there is only France.)
I'm Breton, and france is just starting to be like "maybe we should stop killing regional laguages"
Also "he didn't care about Italia" he loved Italia more than france, his true motherland Tuscany was his favourite region on earth.

Even at its weakest state we can come back, we're are the crossroad of France's History, and it's up to us, a minority of French people, to get it back on track, and either recover like the Hundred Years War, or disappear like many great civilisations that lasted centuries and even milleniums did before us.

"Soldats !
Magnifique
My people will see you again with joy, and all you have to do is say, "I was at the battle of Austerlitz," for the response, "Here is a brave". "

Fun fact : France has won 1115 battles MORE than any other country in the world and ppl make France surrender jokes.
@@pataynasiboni Open your story book, the only war you know is WW2.
France is an old nation, it has fought a lot of wars and battles, so a lot of victories and a lot of defeats. And then the geographical location must be taken into account, we are in Europe next to England, Germany and Spain 😥, the Americans only have Canada and Mexico 😑
@@pataynasiboni The United States are a independant country because of French's victorys...
@@pataynasiboni Ok so the problem is your poor historical knowledge but also your lack of logic
France has waged thousands of wars throughout its existence, many of the greatest victories on a global and temporal scale have been French victories (again, the existence of the USA is an example). You can give me some examples of defeats, Do you have a simple idea of the number of victories ? And I am talking about an important victory, even decisive, at scales that you do not even suspect. France is historically the country with the most victories to its credit, by far.
@@pataynasiboni Yes and no because its number of victories is more important than its number of defeats, France has won 7/10 of its wars and battles. And then other factors must be taken into account such as the fact that it is located in Europe (where the main great powers are located). Its number of defeats does not in any way cancel out the number of victories won by France 🇫🇷
It is therefore true that France has experienced a lot of defeats but it is wrong that its number of defeats is greater than or equal to its number of victories until canceled (so find out next time 😉)
@@pataynasiboni They have certainly lost battles just like other countries like England, Germany and Russia but they have not lost as many defeats as victories, they have won 7/10 of their battles what you say is therefore half false. You maybe want me to give you a history lesson, normally you are supposed to have learned this in school ? 🙄

The great leader
He was the founder of the European Union 150 years in advance!
Пусть отцовское железо вооружит руку храбрых;
Вспомните о нас во Дворце Зимнем;
Железо, благословенно у стариках умелых;
Из воинов ВОВ судьба которая страшна;
Ведите нас против тиранов;
