It is not about English, and neither should we pass sarcastic comments with regards to their English speaking skills. The point is that there is poison fed into the fresh minds of our children, which give them too much control of the ideas they form themselves while their brain has still not developed properly. This results in intellectual calamities while entering adulthood, like the young gentleman in this video had, and they need a still and logical man to iron out those lapses of logic in their brains.

They have not learnt one lesson from a thousand years of oppression from different invading groups ! They possess an inferiority complex that is unparalleled in the history of peoples. Article 51A of constituion of India mentioned the constitutional duty to respect national anthem and national flag. In our culture, standing up for somebody is way of respecting someone. For example, In educational instituitions we stand up for our teacher when he or she enters in the class to show them respect and same thing goes with our national flag and anthems because it is our constitutional duty. Unfortunately, our country is failing in build a good character in youth and being a part of youth of India I will always give respect to my national anthem.

I have read quite a few comments to this video.
I believe, the problems with the younger generations are many.
    1. Distorted / biased education System which doesn't tell you Indian History, Oppression of our people, people's struggle at grassroot level, how freedom was fought.
    2. Toomuch of freedom in the name of democracy. Attitude of "You don't tell me what to do"
    3. Political system : We see how politicians behave and youngsters believe that it is Okay to behave that way. If a Government tries to bring all on one platform with reforms in education system, each state ruled by the opposition party says, "we reject your reforms and implement our own education system in our state". The point here is that the nation is getting fragmented on every thought or an action the Government tries to bring the nation together. Youngsters are seeing this and are moulded exactly the same way.
    4. Unseen forces from outside India are at work to keep us suppressed from becomjng prosperous and strong. We Indians are foolish enough not to see this happening but dance to their tunes.
It has become 'free for all' for anybody from within and outside to take the nation for granted. We, the citizens of our country, have become spoilt brats.
Sadguru has taken the examples of USA and Europe.
But, just peep into our neighbourhood within the continent - China, Japan, Korea, Singapore. Barring some, it is consistently the "Iron Hand" only that works.
That makes me to think that for an unwieldy size and heterogenous composition of our population, is "Iron Hand" a feasible solution for a few decades to replace "Free for all" by "Freedom"? 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔

The ending summed it up. The questioning guy didn't get it. I get what the questioner is asking - freedom to do what one likes but Sadhguru clearly mentions how a diverse population can have one common point to come together. Its not a diktat like what one thinks. Let's do it for others, for the lesser privileged or educated to come on one platform. Oneness is needed to make the block move.

The problem here is they are not listening, they are simply responding to have a debate to prove themselves right. I am literally questioning this generation’s thinking about their own nation. What’s up with standing for mere 52 seconds? They want everyone to express the respect to nation in their own way, that’s ok but not right with the context of our national anthem. They are going be lawyers, what if everyone will express their emotions, opinions and “respect” in their own way in the court?? It’s simple!! They just can’t get this simple thing.

Hats off to Sadhguru for answering these idiots so patiently. The problem is this whole thing for not standing for “National Anthem” started in America and now Indians are blindly copying this and resisting it. The only thing that Sadhguru keeps on talking again and again is that “National Anthem” is one of the symbols that can invoke an emotion of national identity among us in a country that is a melting pot of different cultures, languages and beliefs. He is asking these intellectuals idiots to come up with another way of invoking the same feeling of oneness via some other symbols and our intellectuals are unable to come up with a simple idea of national identity, but they gave all these BS logics for avoiding the national spirit. With these kind of loving , nationalistic future youth - India zaroor ban gaya world power . May god awaken some nationalistic pride in their hearts and soul.🙏🏻🙏🏻

No rich no poor no hindu no muslim no man no woman. All are same. If we have this simple way of showing respect and love towards our nation by standing up when national anthem is played, then what's wrong in that.. I would say don't just stand up. Sing along.
