Sims 2 Brandi Broke Lot Renovation | Speed Build 🛠️🏡

- Welcome back to the Sims 2 Pleasantview renovation project! ✨ Today, I'm doing a makeover of 55 Woodland Drive, the lot of Brandi Broke and her two sons Dustin and Beau. 🛠️🏡
This was a refreshing lot where I tried to tell a story; the Broke family, as you can tell by their name, aren't the wealthiest. So their house is filled with hand-me-downs, mismatched, cheap furniture, but has a homey, comforting look.
This sims 2 lot renovation is part of my big Pleasantview renovation project. The goal is to make sims lot makeovers for ALL of the pre-made hoods and start a let's play series with a large sims 2 uberhood full of all sorts of uncommon couples and storylines.

Funny thing, this household was so difficult to take care of vanilla base game launch day. Dustin had to be the breadwinner while Brandi guiltily couldn't work. But when I replay with the Ultimate Collection, I had Brandi hire a butler since they're cheaper than the Nanny and he became the boys' father figure in the household. He cooked, cleaned, took care of the baby boys while Brandi rested. Eventually, I had them marry and had two girls, with him being the house husband while Brandi got to work in culinary, and Dustin eventually got his grades up enough for University and Beau got to have a better childhood thanks to the change.
Omg hiring a butler that's a genius idea :D what a great storyline and happy ending for the Brokes
I like the new entrance, makes such a difference to the house and I like the bedrooms being at either end, gets rid of that awful hallway that the toddler was stuck in getting woken by the TV and phone all the time.
Brandi with your default replacements looks so gorgeous! I like the idea of changing the floor plan to accommodate the growing family.

I always relate to the Brokes as I live near a bit of a poor town, so usually people give each other things as a community. So i always saw Brandi's bedroom having decoration help from Dina since they're friends (and share the same bedding), and Dina is encouraging Brandi to look for happiness (in her own way 😅). As for Dustin not having a dresser, i wouldn't worry. Me and my mother used to share the same wardrobe for a while. 😂 ❤ Good renovating! I love the use of CC. 🎉

I love what you've done with this place! So clever and it fits the atmosphere of the Broke's (for now!). Love to hear about your plans for the let's play. I get you when you say you can't wait to start playing already! Love how you're showing the fully renovated house while playing a little bit. Keep it up, love how you decorate!

Love the remodel! Broke is my favorite household to play. I always get rid of the pool because I like to play realistic gameplay (the backstory never said it was their property where Skip died, after all there is no urn or tombstone).
They really look like a very fun family to play with! And that's a good point, I was wondering why there is no tombstone on the lot
Aww, Brandi and her two (spoiler: three) sons. I feel terrible for this little family. They lost so much with the death of Skip Broke!
In my own Uberhood, Brandi managed to start selling some things she made on a sewing machine [an idea I got when watching someone do a review of Early Pleasentview], which she invested in after Skip Jr. was born. Dustin is off to Uni after getting a C in school, and little Beau is selling lemonade with his Lemonade stand. Brandi actually fell in love with Antonio Monty, and they raised their children as one blended family. Dustin, who was doing well in Uni and still very much in love with Angela, was surprised by having two step-siblings. But he is a good big brother. Beau and Skip Jr. were ecstatic to have friends to play with.
Sounds like a happy ending for the Broke family! Much needed considering what they've been through

Love it.Personally I am not a fan of the vanilla trailer houses bc for me trailer houses are often like in a seperate distinguish neighbourhood but here in Sims 2 you have like two trailer houses and across the street a really nice suburban home XD your rebuild looks so much better

They made the base game as if you had all the expansions and skippers grave is actually in the grave site but you need to have all the expansions the one with the fire department I don't remember which one that is for the graveyards

I've been collecting CC over so many years now, it's honestly from all over the place. 😅 A few years back I decided I want to maintain a more cohesive art style so I cleaned up my downloads folder and now try to stick to maxis match, 4to2 conversions and some semi-realistic CC if I really like it 🤭
