This is a very special song and memory for me because I learned to sing it under Dr. Moore’s direction. I was privileged to be part of a group made up of choirs from parishes in the Cincinnati Archdiocese that Dr. Moore conducted.
I wish I can keep the taste of of God in my soul, then I won't forget that lord in my mouth whenever I open my mouth to speak. I wish after tasting god body, then my eyes can see everything so beautiful in front of me.
I'd love to hear someone like Billy Joel or Elton John cover it. Very melodic and memorable; it sounds like a Bernie Taupin composition or even something Joel would write himself. This and Be Not Afraid as well.
