We are sailing from Cape Town to the east coast.
That would be great to meet up. We will finish the circumnavigation in February 2024, and we will remain in the Caribbean for the season. Probably haul out in Trinidad for the Hurricane season.

On that very “rolly” first day, I noticed what wonderful condition your teak decks are in. Did you have them reconditioned in the past two years? Hoping that the Turkish General elections scheduled to take place on 14 May 2023 don’t affect your plans.
Uggg, rolling.. -- QUESTION -- When it is rolling, can you change your direction a bit and reduce or eliminate rolling. If you veered off so the wind hit the side more, would it stop the roll? I know it would add more distance to your trip but wouldn't it be better than feeling sea sick?

The one I was showing for overlays on my iPad was Navionics, but we also use overlays on OPEN CPN

Yes, it is a Perkins engine wrapped in Volvo Penta stuff.

Yes you could. But sea sickness goes away in one max two days. Better just to feel sick, get over it, and move on..
I didn't know that cause it stay with me on that fast frigate I was on aircraft carrier was great
