Thank you for this video, I got bored a little bit and want to try out a new build, and this one is not only powerful to those that takes bleed effect, also super fun to use. I try to use heavier armor, and it looks so hideous.

Edit: I use the divine bird helm and the new grave bird chest. It honestly looks alright with the goofy legs, and both pieces still add something statistically.

I've been using this weapon/art combo myself, but frost affinity for my mage character. Severaly cuts down on using fp on magic for regular mobs, save it for the bosses.
I kept my holy/dex. Lightning spear and that new thorn spell helped me beat the dlc quickly

PS: it might be a glitch, but as far as my testing went, it seems that the damage bonus from the Shattered Stone Talisman also applies on regular kick attacks and not only in kick skills as the description suggests.
After you unlock this weapon you literally have one more person to kill to beat the dlc.

The Dryleaf Arts are not half bad at all.
You can get the Dry leaf arts as soon as you get to the second area, only the Danes footwork is at the end of dlc

I've been using this build for a few days, not knowing about the chicken legs. It still works really well! I use the stagger and repeated hits on my physick.

You can also farm somber smithing stone 9 from the divine bird enemy in Rauh ancient Ruins. I've picked up a few farming for the legs.
I’m basically doing a poison/scarlet rot variant of this. Same weapon but the Ash of War I’m using is “The Poison Flower that Blooms Twice”.
I’m also using the Claw Talisman and the Gravebird’s Blackquill Armor to boost all of my jumping attacks. Doesn’t boost the ash of war but adding that onto a jumping heavy kick attack with the Shattered Stone Talisman does a decent amount of damage.
Using Footwork to quickly build up poison and then if the Ash of War hits while they’re poisoned, they’ll explode and take a good chunk of damage similar to bleed.
Tbh it should boost that ash (I'm using the same sort of build) but it doesn't need a buff. We need far more buffs and, imo, way more weapons per new category.
great video i strictly only used the martial arts weapons on my first play through i started out running i build similar to this and it was good. but swapped to the cold palm blast with the dryleaf arts and its insane i can easily hit for 10k on a fully charged palmblast with crazy stagger and hyper armor
Hey, to farm the bird legs a faster farm start place is the grace before rommia. You can jump down using torrent on to the roof of the building behind the bird, then jump down to fight him. Takes maybe 5 seconds to get to gim that way. Saves a good amount of time compared to the other grace.

You can use mesmer fire to activate the furnace. I used a mesmer spear charged throw to activate it. Worth trying grease and incantations with mesmer fire

fashion souls is what Nioh/Nioh 2 did best. the ability to transfer attributes from one armor set to another is one i'd like to see implemented more...

Nioh 1&2 are phenomenal games, and the best souls-likes I've played aside from FromSoft titles, but they're also made by Koei Tecmo, which is known for focusing a LOT on looks and character customization, while FromSoft is known more for mechanical details of their games. If those two managed to have a baby though? Take ALL my fuckin' money! lol
There's a lot of things Nioh 2 did well
You can run the regular Dry Leaf weapon in the left hand and also spec it for blood or occult for a cool combo pouch and kick combo using right button attack ;). Also, the new bird armor with wings adds jumping attack enhancement which adds to the ridiculous look but really fun gameplay. Also, with its AOE kicking you don’t even have to lock onto targets to be able to hit enemies and makes for really fluid and cool combat style
Oh and the bird armor with wings also enhances jump attacks which counts on the ash of war.
Grave bird chest with wings now that I’ve looked it up lol
i use 3 danes footwork in my rh slots for pvp. The whirlwind, the palm blast and quickstep. so easy and convenient to toggle between the 3 depending on the situation.
Grave bird armor would look good with this, and some other feather helmet maybe malekiths helm to look like a "Aztec Warrior of Deathdealing kicks"
If you put arts in one hand footwork in the other, l1 is a dual wield attack and you can two hand either at any time.
Stat buffs:
White mask 10% when bleed
Rakshasa chest and arms: 4% flat all damage
Bird feet: 5%
Lord of blood exultation: 20% for 20 secs when bleed
Shattered stone talisman: 10% flat for kicks
Shard of Alexander: 15% to skills
Rotten wing: 6% 8% 13% depending on hits
All together total to 77% increase when all things work in tandem which isn’t hard to achieve. If we average the percents of rotten wing, it’s prob closer to 73% but still great overall.
you can also use millicent's prostesis (can't get both in one playthrough sadly but can get both on NG+1), stacks with rotten wing talisman, boosts stats + damage on consecutive attacks (just like rot talisman)
thorny cracked tear works also just like rotten wing talisman
I think if you can get up to like 90-100% or more damage boost with these

I mean you can get the standard dry leaf arts very early and even use them to fight rellanna.
you need to try this build with poison over bleed. you can stack more damage boosts than with bleed, and apply poison with the poison hand weapon before popping the poison for huge burst damage with "The Poison Flower Blooms Twice" on Dane's footwork. I started a whole new character just to pass those items down to them and play through the whole game as a fist and feet poison kungfu master.
And you get to look even worse with a mushroom head and chicken legs

Poison is very slow though. You would be best off starting a fight with the poison hand, give them the deadly poison from the ash and then use Dane's with whirlwind and bleed. You would still wear the poison talisman and the ugly helmet but you would the get both buffs. You would still get more damage from poisoned mobs and you would get the bleed procs. I like the 2 flowers ash but you have to use it 2 to 4 times to get scarlet rot. You could use a 3rd weapon with it for the pop. Venomous fang would be good
probably be better for millicients prosthesis to take the place of the kick talisman. The added multi hit will out damage that kick talisman especially with the multiple combos.
You can only get rotten word insignia or millicients prosthesis this build is targeted for lvl 150 which for most people is just regular new game so it’s impossible to get both
@@DinortheGoatyou don't need rotten. Normal and winged gives you a 23% buff. It's all you need really. I'm 150, I've beat the dlc, I'm on NG, I killed her for it. Regret nothing.

After playing a super heavy strength paladin my first playthrough, which I went all the way to Journey 4 with, I have just started a mage build. This is a cool idea for my 3rd character though: probably a dex/faith build.

I'm stuck on radahn and he just slices through that ash of war attack. I've been following your bleed builds and none of them do the insane blood loss you show. Idk if im doing something wrong.

Is this build the best of is frostbite a better variant
The one thing I wish fromsoft would have done in elden ring is the layered armor system that Ac odyssey and mhw and mhrise did where you can wear the armor that has the stats you want but have it look like the armor you like the looks of.
For example I personally love the Ronin set looks because I love anything that has to do with samurai and katanas lol (besides the helmet I hate) but it’s not as good as some other sets in terms of negation so being able to say wear the full Blaid or rahdan set while still looking like the Ronin set would be something I’d love to see in the game and I’m honestly surprised they didn’t add it especially with us being able to alter the appearance of our armor.
I want my dude to look like a badass in the cutscenes and stuff not mismatched lol even my wife agrees with me on that lol, maybe it’s because we are old (32), but I still think it would have been awesome to add.

Mohg's Robes cover the chicken legs quite well
they shoulda made danes quest a longer one so one it would be more fulfilling to get all the weapons but also fun to get the ash of war
Which run is this? I feel like I see all of these devastating builds that just don't work when at NG+5 or higher, because they're being demo'ed on an NG or NG+1 run.
I’ve been having the same problem too. All these neat looking builds just don’t really work that well on higher difficulties. I’ve found that it’s best to use lighter faster status weapons on first/second run, but the higher you go you’ll need to start using heavier hard hitting weapons to get satisfying results. I’ve went from a bleed build to a bolt snipe into resolve crusher combo. Bosses just hit too hard to worry about attempting to build any sort of status proc. Sure they still will work. Just not as effectively with anything past NG5 and up.
Best way to farm Chicken legs are at Enir-Ilim: Outer Wall Site of Grace
The issue I run into is that the hit boxes on some of these bosses are tiny. Example: any dragon. I tried the kung-fu flying rot poison build. It slapped but I couldn't do anything to a dragon. So far Lightening Builds for the win. Backhand blade, add lightening, and cast Ancient Dragon's Lightening.

how much is the increase with the legs, if its not too noticeable compared to Rakshasa than either should be an option
Legs are 10% and rakshasa is 2% so legs are much mor

How did you get blood affinity on dryleaf whirlwind. I've got the black whetblade but blood affinity doesn't show up
You definitely can bc I saw this vid about 2 hrs ago and tried it. So either you don’t have the whetblade (test making another ash of war blood type) or something else if off on your end
@Augs_Cable I've got the whetblade and still can't make any other AoW blood type. It could be because I used cheat engine to get it (I only used it because my previous save got corrupted).
@@ieatyonomnomnom that was my next guess. If you’re using CT already just spawn one with the correct ash and affinity. Sucks about the corruption. (Or make a b-line to the blood whetblade in game since this is a diff save from your corrupted one)

Finger boss: Anything works. Bleed, magic, dex, pure str build, whatever. It's more about dodging the mechanics and outspacing attacks.
Final boss: Nothing works except determination and stubbornness, lol. Or go the EZPZ route and do a magic build with the new Golem summon as a nearly unkillable tank and fight it like a war of attrition.

I think it's called Okoni mask. Either that or silver tear helmet along with lord of blood talisman. Honestly the buff from the white mask isn't extremely massive.

if you put the foot work in right hand and dry leaf arts in off hand you get a unique L1

i think making it proc cold is better since it will scale C with int + removing the blood exhaultaion talisman and putting the malena prostesis
Cold proc once every 20 seconds, Bleed continues building up after first proc. You may loose flat damage but gain more dps/burst potential

Stacking runes, tali slots, gear buffs, etc. Can get over 3k health with a little work, but then you're all tank, no damage.

I know it matters little, but what NG+ are you on? My experience would be hella different as I'm on Journey 13. Although I know the difficulty caps at Journey 7.
I haven’t found a build tbh that works well of NG7 (as I’m also stuck on radhan on 7). Bleed is best for NG for me but nothing is hitting like they do in these videos.

Bloodfiend arms bleed build is way better with the right items/talismans I destroyed Messmer in like 3 charged attacks and destroyed the endboss with like 5/6 charged attacks
I would be bummed if I beat a dlc with an overturned weapon that got fixed in the latest patch. Specially if the gameplay consisted of doing 3-5 charged attacks lmao
