I love sea of thieves been playing for about 6 years and I play vr every day but sadly the sea of thieves devs will not make a vr version but in came you and made me almost complete with some more work this game will fill the empty spot in my heart thank you 🙏

I absolutely love this game! I've been playing since the enemies had very suspicious noises whenever you kill them. When I get a job I am definitely going to Use the support table thing that you put in the cave. Thank you for making this game!!!!!!! I also love the new prices so it's no longer extremely easy to get the man of war and sniper rifle. I'm sorry this comment super long. Playing this game had made me want to make a video game myself.And then I went into a rabbit hole of trying to make a game so i'm already taking classes and all sorts of stuff to make games because of this Masterpiece.

I would like some of the bigger ships like man of War to have interiors so you could use the cannons on the lower deck so you could man a 40 man battalion
wWat if for faction wars, there was more of a point system to it. For example one you joined a faction you could gain bonus points for loot specifically stolen from the enemy faction. You could also be given points strictly for ships sunk, if ship customization is out by then, you could even do points based off of the size of the ship sunk...that might be too much actually but up until then would be coooooooooool On an unrelated note I personally (my friend agrees) think that being able to see enemy ships on the map is a little silly. Part of the beauty of pirate games I've played is having to keep my eye on the horizon or strategically park my ship for quick access and movement. Again, I know this is totally unrelated to the dev log but it's a glaring issue with the game for me, my friend, and other people I've spoken with about it. Game is coming along though and ship customization looks sick!
PLEASE add a right joystick movement mode, ive tried editing the controls on the quest setting but it doesnt work with this game so the only option is to add it to the game, the game is LITERALLY unplayable for me becuase i cant move please add it im begging
For the faction war it sounds really cool but I think there should also be some type of way to know if there is an enemy faction if it’s a ship marker or name color, doesn’t matter. Just so there’s some fighting on top of the gold contribution. (Top donators could maybe gain some star coins as well so there’s another incentive) SEA DOGS ALL THE WAY!!!!
It would be nice to add no friendly fire. You could make it to where if you go out the port, everyone on the boat at the time of going out the port would not be able to attack each other. This could make it to were toxic players can’t steal your loot after a raid. Also, sometime when i am trying to hit loot boxes and crates, me and my crew accidentally hit each other and making the no friendly fire feature would solve this problem too.
That is actually the sickest ship customization I've ever seen. Very unique and better than Sea of Thieves customization by a long shot. But I think that Faction Wars should auto assign people so that one team doesn't have an unfair advantage of people
You should add a save ship options. Basically you customize your ship and when you think your ship is good, you can save it. This also allows you to load in previous ships. Also please make it so while your sailing your able to climb the tower. When I try it it just makes me fall off.
You should add a place where you can test customization without having to pass/go into the portals. You could also make it so you can change stuff on you’re boat while testing
This was very well executed!! All of the upgrades and stuff seems really cool. One thing though that I think should be added is that ships will not be free every time, so that way your ship feels more precious than just a chunk of wood to get you around if you know what I mean, and I think the raft should be free without upgrades just so you have a way to even make gold in the first place. This would also make another way to make gold more useful which I think is good.

Faction wars is a great idea, there should be a bonus to the score for each enemy and ship you destroy. But please don’t name em sea dogs and monkeys. Come up with something less silly. And make it like the pirates vrs the empire or something contrasting like that. And win a fraction wins they win faction specific cosmetics. So if you’ve been playing the empire for awhile and winning wars, you’ll be decked out in a full suit of cosmetics for that faction. Like you’ll actually look like an admiral or captain based on how many wars you’ve won.
i feel like adding interiors to the ships would be a lot more work for this update, but i do agree that it would be really cool. the faction wars are a great idea. I also feel like adding a map table onto the ship to set waypoints would make navigation between shipmates easier.
you should add foveated rendering or when the character isn't looking at something within its field of view it shouldn't be rendered unless in the field of view. It would make the game wayyy smoother!!!
I heard you needed to find a way to make a way to make an official crew system so I thought you could do it like a hand shake were you have to do like a two second hand shake with some body so they can sail with you

I was wondering if maybe at some point you could add a watch that sends you back to the port, but of course you can’t use it in combat, I think it would be useful when you need to go back to port but there’s too many enemy ships in the way

@Sail_VR I played it a few times yesterday. I really like it. If there was one problem that bothered me a lot, I'd say it's that after leaving port, I had a lot of issues climbing back onto my ship. The climbing mechanic on the latter was really glitchy and wouldn't work. Other than that I really enjoyed it. The sailing mechanics are well done and fun. Its easy enough to do on your own, but better if you have a friend. Also the community in port seems to be nice. Theres always people ready to join you and show you the ropes. I also got a friend into it and were going to start playing together. I look forward to the future updates.
I noticed that you changed the exit port recently and I have a idea instead of just huge portals that send you to the ocean you could make them whirl pools

I feal like the idea is good but there is one thing I would change and that is the ship pricing system by making it to where you have to buy the ship once and can get it free from then on but have the option to carry more with you at a price like the current ships along with anything you want to edit on your ship like cannon/harpoon placement will cost something.
can you add sea monsters or some new weapons that cost gold or maybe ghost ships that can spawn on you with a prize after you sink them Also eventually when you can or if you already can please add a server system kind of like a township tale
Hey man love the game but as I was playing something felt missing from the game. Three things seem to be the main factor of this. The lack of clans and a crew system. A lower deck to the ships and bullet buying stations on ships. But mainly a lack of a goal. I don’t want to just go in and try to make money to buy nothing. I want legends with friends, krakens!, natural dangers, rouge waves (or any type of waves) I know it’s a lot to ask for I just wanted to put some of my thoughts out there. You are probably not going to see this, but one thing that would add to this game is different cultures' ships. For example, you can add viking longships of different sizes or japanese pirates ships of varying sizes and you can put this in the customization ability or if you want to do things harder ther can be the shiprights of different cultures you can go to to get these ships i know this is hard to do but this would add more customization to the game. Also i love what you are making and i hope this gets bigger 🏴☠️🫡
