- Sail VR is a VR game that takes a lot of inspiration from Sea of Thieves. Like all of it. The gameplay is Sea of Thieves in VR. With all the usual VR game downgrades because VR gaming is just not big enough yet. But for what Sail VR is right now, it's still really good. Ship combat in VR is very fun. Until Sea of Thieves VR comes out... this is Sea of thieves VR. Which is fortunate because if I had played this game for the first time in front of the developer and it was bad, that could have been very awkward.

Would be funny to get an unlockable hook for your hand that still inexplicably functions like a normal hand lol. Even better if you can have two. Peg legs would be funny as well.

I remember I found this game a long while back when all you had was one ship, there were only about 3 islands, and all you could buy was a single pistol. Also it was beyond buggy. Glad to see it's been upgraded, I may have to check it out again :D

Dev if you're reading this make sure you add "shiny" particles on top of valuable items to give the player some visual feedback on their value

Hey habie. Over quarantine, when you first started to get momentum with your vr vids, I started showing your videos to my best friend. After he was obsessed with your videos and vr in general, he got a rift s. For a year I played vr every couple of days for hours with him and fixed my distant relationship with him. We now still play weekly. Thank you for being you.

I’m Pavlov, they have a map called sea wars, it’s like sea of thieves but in a tiny cove. You can sink other ships using cannons and shoot pirates with a double barrel.
I played the beta of this like a week ago it was actually really fun I do recommend this

I paused the video right at the beginning after he says "I did something stupid last week". You know your in for a good story when it starts out like that now.....lol.
Riding the waves in Sea of Thieves really makes the experience what it is but I see that as being difficult to translate into VR without creating a real sea sickness simulator.
ya the motion sickness is the biggest thing but we might try to work around it in the future
The developer has also stated that he’s concerned that it could also be too much for the quest to handle.
Watching Habie pick up that pink spherical object and toss it not realizing its a pearl was pain, watching him find it after was pain reliever! Always a great time when a habie upload pops up on my home page!
watching you THROW the pearl away reminded me that yes, you are KING of the smooth brains.
When I first played this it was a bit disappointing but it has really improved and Habies humour works very well with this game.

I've tried watching streamers before and I have the attention span of a rock (actually that's probably offensive to rocks) but when I found habie I can now sit down and watch a smoothbrain play video games and not get bored in 15 minutes. Keep up the good work habie!
I was playing this game when you only sailed to a few islands and collect treasure and sell it to some guy. I cannot believe how far it has came.

I downloaded this a few months back and it was an utter mess. Tons of bugs. It was basically unplayable. I guess the dev did more work since then?

Quick game suggestion: attack on quest, attack on titan vr and aot revive are really good free vr games on side quest
habie you have GOT to try compound, it is one of the best vr games I’ve played, it has smooth and retro graphics emulating a quake roguelite.
I played this game a long time ago when it first went into alpha testing on quest and I haven't touched it since but this looks amazing I might have to buy the full version

I remember joining this stream midway through, having no idea what was going on, and seeing pirates appear from barrels
Now I'm starting to think Habie just gives every VR game a 10/10 if the dev's in chat. Say the horrible things in front of the dev, It's what helps them make the game better LITERALLY. This game is clunky as hell and It's only a substitute for the real pirate RPG we're all waiting for.
This live stream was a blast! (if not a bit long and lacking beaver seggs) It also got me back into sea of thieves

I found this game like 4-5 months ago while randomly looking through the applab and at the time it was a pretty fun sorta treasure hunt for the 30-60 minutes I played it and honestly it was pretty fun and it's cool to see how far it's come since then

I played the Applab version of this game that seemed much worse, or maybe i didn't know what i was doing, i couldn't find any gameplay so i just took my ship to random islands and climbed up a cliff and it was very fun

I hope they earn a lot of money from this so they can pay other developers to help the game get better.
