Hey guy!! Firstly skip to 4:22 if you just want the reaction. Secondly... sorry for the audio, I thought I was all setup nicely in my car, but... turns out I merged audio tracks for the overview and my audio.... so I tried to extract it as the music was TOOO LOUD so I'm sorry. The Lance saga should of ended on a more perfect edit. That aside hope you enjoy, I won't spoil what I felt, watch and find out!!!
I would love if they made "healing shield" an armor skill, similar to offensive guard. Maybe at level one it only gives you a small amount of health (or greatly increase your rec speed for a time), but maxxed out it would apply the same buff to nearby teammates. Offensive guard is one of my favorite skills and I want them to add more skills that benefit people that spec into guarding. I also wish Diversion drew aggro more reliably, but thats just nitpicking
@@siduxjxhdgzhdjxhxuuxxyhgg1079 Gem in recovery up and befriend a HH user. In Rise the base healing song alone probably is more than you're asking for. Pair it with 1-3 points of recovery you pretty much never need to heal.
Its always funny when a monster is gonna do a big attack everyone holster their weapon to move away and thr Lance user just stays there ready to block anything.
HEY! I been waiting for your reaction, now unto the video, did you notice that all throughout the video they weren't using the upwards poke? they mainly used the regular poke and used the new finisher poke combo to poke up. they added a lot more shield attacks which I can only guess do more stun damage and that's all good and well but I'm not sure if they want the lance to get more opportunities for KO's or not since they been giving a lot of KO potential to other weapons besides the hammer. As you said, Idk if you saw the frontier Lance video but without spoiling anything I was hoping to see some type of gauge for the lance that added some new mechanic or buff that rewarded consistent damage output or constant guarding rather than evading. Now for the guarding on the beginning of the video, idk the stats and skills on the armor but it seemed to me like there was still to much recoil for guarding such a simple attack which makes me worry about the delay between actions after guarding an attack and also that the skill requirement for the lance has stayed the same like in World and Rise. Now with that said hopefully they made some other changes to skills or other moves that weren't shown in this showcase but overall I give the Lance showcase a 7/10 since some of the other showcase showed some mayor reworks, with the most blatant one being the HH. Its looking promising folks!
Hmm That's a good point, never thoght about them not poking up, that's weird. I wonder if there's more moves to poking up. As you say I can also imagine stun lance being a thing now, that'll be awesome!
Im honestly glad they didn't go too over the top and kept the core feel. Lance has always been about locking in and feeling like an immovable tank. You take on mons with surgical precision and it never gets old when you are untouchable while going all out. Wilds will bring a whole new layer to the hunt and i cant wait.
An immovable tank that is also an unstoppable force. Lance has become the single most aggressive weapon in the series, but there's now a massive buff to the movement with the "fade pokes".
Been playing Lance since GU. I'm pretty satisfied with the moves they showed off! And I'm happy it didn't get the massive Rise Hunting Horn-level rework as I've been fearing for a long time. Still hoping for things like the Guard skill decos going back to lvl 1 and/or the skill maxing out at 3 and no unblockable attacks, but yeah the trailer didn't disappoint (except maybe that beginning part where you see the lancer getting huge knockback, lol).
I haven't finished the video so idk if you ever bring it up but the biggest "nerf" to lance was the introduction of infinite restocks. Being safe and veing able to trade hits more efficiently made it better for long fights. But now, as you said, other eapons hyper offense and stunlovk potential is able to sustain deep into a fight while our damaging lance. Idk if the changes to lance will close that distance enough, but I really like the new moveset, so im happy for now.
@joereed8872 the only good thing is it seems restocking might be a bit more troublesome to do, with having to set up camps in the wild first then having to defend them, at least that's what I've heard
That's a good point actually, it does in some way impact more defenesive gameplay, I never liked restocking, infact for the whole time playing Risebreak, i never restocked once due to how much I dislike it.
I enjoy lance, while im a charge blade main, but at my core im a 'counter style' playstyle. So anything with a shield/block/counter im there. Offensive Guard, mmm.
Should I do a video on an alternate timeline where I wasn't happy and still decided to trash capcom?! There are plenty of things I still don't like they've done, it'd mostly be for educational and humour purposes though, no serious hate. I don't have room for hating things or people in my life. I've got a poll check it out th-cam.com/users/postUgkx7wKDCbpqF2L_5skzeQ-dzYEGt_yCn9jo.
I've always had trouble hitting the tail with the Lance if the monster wasn't knocked. I want to know if focus mode will allow you to aim up with the Lance so you can target the tail easier.

I'm still not finished watching but are you gonna acknowledge the lance getting an erection when unsheathed?!
I just realized that's a thing ignore me
Capcom survived judgment day, billions must play wilds
Haha for real.
Im glad youre happy with what the lance got :)
Thank you my brother
Love that they got Lance moving like a Boxer with that Jab Jab Hook combo
Yea bro that looked awesome!

I would rather get something that lets a lance user heal (only) chip damage by attacking tbh
@@siduxjxhdgzhdjxhxuuxxyhgg1079 that'd also be really cool. Like rallying from bloodborne
As a armour skill would be awesome, I suppose if it was a skill, maybe it should only trigger if you do a perfect parry.

@@TheDalisama ye as a hh player i know how comfy healing songs can get but the point was more to promote self sufficiency
Glad for you bro...more ppl hyped to play Wilds makes for a better game....After what they showed for lance I'll definitely give it a try
The sound you made at 5:06 was incredible lmao
LOL Bro when I get hyped, I GET HYPED! Hope you see more of those moments, Live streams or just videos
Lance mains!!!!!! Im liking what im seeing. Been waiting for them to drop the lance overview trailer for too long. Love the boxing vibe of the lance
Yea it's awesome!
The editing and the lil Gundamsona I love it
:') I'm trying
Three poke combo finisher is great
Yea I was impressed.
Its always funny when a monster is gonna do a big attack everyone holster their weapon to move away and thr Lance user just stays there ready to block anything.
YEP it's amazing to do that.
Lance got longsword stuff and sword and shield stuff with the shield bashes and shield counters, so you can do stun damage now that's so crazy
Bro, stun lance will finally be a thing.

True that, I just hope it feels as good to play as it looks.

Lance is eating gooood. I’m curious how we swap between shield tackle and the charge. Is it switch skills or styles making a comeback?
Yea that's a good point. I'm not sure if they are making a comeback, but it kinda seems that way, right?
That 4th poke might even combo further into a shield bash/charge since it could knock back an enemy!
CONGRATS LANCE MAINS! ITS ONLY THE START!
That combo ender has a really big animation commitment though.
@@TornaitSuperBird true! BUT MAYBE A HIGH DAMAGE/POISE PAYOUT
@@Chickensea10 Very true.
THE 4TH POKE!!!! I THOUGHT IT WAS A MYTH!
True some of the animations look like a lot of commitment, and that's abit worrying.
captain lance has descended, and graced us with shield bashes. now we want shield throw😂
YES Captain Lance will one day be fully complete

Awesome to hear man
No functional drills but we got more poke and more shield
Yea Drill would have been cool, but great
...so I take it this is more of a "congratulations" than a "sorry that happened, hope the full game is better" kinda Lance trailers, huh 😂
🤣 damn right! I enjoyed it overall

Lance has a base Mid Thrust poke that you can use to get to tails consistently.
That's a good point, I hope it has that also, maybe even an attack which is at an angle of like 80 degrees would be awesome.
