Angry Video Game Nerd (AVGN) episode 187: The Simpsons: Bartman Meets Radioactive Man. The Nerd reviewed the first two Simpsons NES games 13 years ago. Now he's back to review the third awful Simpsons NES game: Bartman Meets Radioactive Man! This "game" published by Acclaim (LJN in disguise) is the side-scrolling platformer that features Bart Simpson on a comic book quest to rescue his kidnapped idol, superhero Radioactive Man. It's a weird mix of the show and the whole Bartman concept (later used in real-world comics.) This is also this year's Christmas episode, so Happy Holidays to all, we'll see you next year!

I used Tunnel Bear prior to getting a much better deal with Express VPN. I find it far easier to use.

Acclaim started in 1987 after one of the founders of Activision began making games for the NES including “3D Worldrunner” which was developed by Square Enix, and published by Acclaim.

Bartman was everywhere as merchandise in the 90s because of the song "do the bartman". It was huge.

It's the element of surprise, I suspect; we're all expecting him to swear a lot at this point, so when he has an obvious place to swear and doesn't, that in itself actually ends up being a funnier joke. This is also the real reason why one shouldn't swear all the time - it's important for it to come as a surprise, or we may as well not even bother.^^
