For me, the french blue horn represents the obsession of a man who tried to force destiny. He didn't need to steal a yellow umbrella, just came to his hands. Destiny.
But what makes the show that special, in my opinion, is that they didn't over emphasize the chemistry between them, it just happened and it just makes sense. That's why himym, in some ways, is not an usual love story.

Here's the thing: Carter and Craig were trying to write one type of love story, but in trying to deceive us into thinking they were writing a different type of love story, they actually ended up writing a much better love story, but they were so stuck on their original idea that they didn't realise the beauty in the simplicity of Ted and Tracy. A shame.
Exactly. They underestimated how Cristin Milioti's performance would win our hearts. The on-again-off-again from Ted and Robin just didn't work. In my opinion, Robin's character seriously started to decrease in favor for me while Tracy's shot up! Maybe it's due to character fatigue and a fresh face donned the screen but Ted and Tracy were just too cute to ignore. If they continued on for a couple more seasons the ending might have worked instead of all the random flashforwards that are REALLY IMPORTANT THINGS TOO! The biggest being the lackluster ending due to a season's worth for the wedding and sloppy rebound.

I was able to find my true love. In a similar way to Ted and Tracy, we also had been close to meeting several times. We were at the same concert once, only a few feet away, we even had 1 friend with who we were both somewhat close. But it wasn't until this year that we met, after so long. Watching this video makes me realize just how lucky I am to have found the one I'm destined for. And I feel for him, just as ted felt for Tracy. He's the love of my life, and I so love him "til the end of my days, and beyond" Update: in case anyone wondered, unfortunately, we broke up the first week of 2022, after nearly 7 years together. It was a very hard and difficult thing to do, probably the hardest decision in my life. But it was the best for us. I will always love him in one way or another but I know we cannot be together. The time we spent together was some of the best times of my life. 😊

I like the series for their seasons and their content in great comic memories that by the end, someone has realized that if Robin is the protagonist of the final mean THAT WAS ALL THE SERIES? and here's a better question: ROBIN IS REALLY TOP AS CHARACTER A TED, THE MOTHER OR GROUP? I think not ... If Robin was like a mother and a mother (perhaps as Victoria and best and Zoey), STILL is understandable, but it was not, I think the writers or directors thought it would be a series more 3-4 seasons and had that end, then when they were in the decade being the level of Friends did not have the guts to change the ending ...

I haven’t reached One Billion viewings, but I have watched the entire series 4 times all the way through. The problem with watching it again... none of the jokes hit well enough to make me laugh, because I know all of them already. So the greatest romantic sitcom ever starts getting more and more depressing each time you watch the whole series. The quality of the show is still incredible though. And yes, “HIMYM” is Better than “Friends”. Periodt.
Though I hated the final season of How I Met Your Mother, your video captured one of its few positive aspects beautifully. Watching it made me wish the final season was primarily focused on the Mother-Ted relationship and not the longest weeding weekend of all time. Well done.
I used to hate season 9 until I realized how brilliant it was. The writers of the show did something spectacular with season 9, but lets start with seasons 1-8. As someone who as watched and re-watched the show, I can say that it goes by so quickly. All those episodes, all those years just went by in a hurry and I miss them. That is exactly how Ted feels. He has so many relationships that almost every single viewer can relate to at least one of them. People feel for Ted. They feel how quickly those years go by, and then comes Barney and Robin's wedding. A entire season devoted to a couple of days. Why would the writers do this? Why not incorporate other things? Why keep all these characters locked away in an inn when you want to see one final hoorah? The answer is so simple, yet so packed full of emotion. Season 9 drags on for the viewer just like the wedding does for Ted. That was the longest weekend of his life, and the writers make the viewer feel that. You feel the dread of the show ending- similar to the dread Ted feels with moving on to Chicago. You feel his sadness, you feel his anxiety, you are put in the shoes of Ted Mosby, which is why the shows powerful ending is so heartbreaking and sad. Ted and the viewer wait so long to meet the mother, especially in season 9 when that is all you want- it's all he wanted too. Only two episodes show Ted and Tracy together, that's not enough! Again, the years Ted spent with Tracy is all put into two episodes because that's how it felt to him. It was the best time of his life, and it was all over that fast. Just like that it was gone. Although heartbreaking, season 9 was spectacular from a writing stand point. To be able to get the viewer to feel all those real emotions is just incredible. This show changes how people view love, especially towards the end.
I don't want to sound like a pussy, but i cried watching this video and it made me realize that everything ted tried to do to find the love of his life was one step forward to realize that she was their and she will always be their even if she is gone because ted loves her and thats real love. And as i said that everything he tried to do to find the love of his life got him one step forward to find tracy so destiny brought them together when they were waiting for each other, Its a crazy thought but I believe in it Many peole say it was a horrible ending (i didn't saw the ending yet thats the last episode for me to watch, a friend told me about it) but for me it was just love, at the end ted found her a I bet he'll never regret it P.S. the guy/girl who did this video is just a genuis it broke mi heart into many peaces and it made me realize many things :,)
Its amazing. A fan with editing software made a better 6 minute ending than a professional writer. Then we get that terrible blue french horn shit. It's almost like somebody else wrote the last episode.
How i wish the 2 writers and the other producers who stood by the decision of the orig ending, could see this wonderful amazing edits for Ted & Tracy. Their love story scenes deserve 1 full ep or 1 season at least

I'm really disappointed that tracy died but then I realized that himym wasn't trying to give us a happy ending. They were just depicting the lives of five people in a group. And in life there isn't always a happy ending & you have to live with it.
The original ending wasn't just an insult to Ted and Tracy, it was also the biggest insult to Barney and Robin herself. All that time building up their relationship; Robin: the one woman that Barney will finally settle down for, and Barney: the one man that Robin will finally put before her career, then the ending threw all that character development out the window.
This video shows how it was all there. All the beautiful moments that made Tracy and Ted's life together. Its only when you piece them together like this so perfectly that you finally understand the power of this show.

Ted has always believed in true love and has fought for it. He deserves to win that. Annie J It's definately true.Remember when Barney said "our wedding will be legendary" and when Robin asked him about this "legen-wait for it-dary" thing ,he said that he had her and there was nothing to wait for.Everyone is waiting for something,searching something,hoping that one day they will feel completed and just happy.Barney admited he was too far gone and broken,he wasn't happy until that day he was with Robin.We should hope that one day we will feel completed and our searching will be over.

But I can't shake this feeling, that we belong together." When Barney repeated after Robin, word for word; not knowing that's what Robin felt for him, I knew they were meant for each other. The Ted and Robin ending is completely unrealistic.
What an absolutely PERFECT tribute to not only Ted and Tracy but the show. It was everything the show was actually about for me. All the little hints they gave along the way, and all the things that didn't make sense until the very end. You captured it all beautifully. This is how I'll always remember them.
Not really he MARRIED Tracy. All he does is Date Robin. And he said so himself. He will love her till the end of his days. Just because he starts dating Robin again doesn't mean he lovea Tracy any less.

What I am going to say sounds like weird but I'm not a very emotional person. I mean, the only time I really cried was when my girlfriend died. But this video just made me cry so bad everytime I watch it. It's like if my feelings all show themselfes at the same time and that everything I saw in Ted's relationship make me think about my girlfriend, I know it sounds dumb but my relationship was the same et ended up the same way... The death came to take her to a better place where birds sing all years and where war never existed. Sorry for my bad english but I had to confess this to someone, even if this "someone" isn't my friend. This video make me understand every day that I have feelings, but they only need to be search and found.

It took my years to realise this until now- Tracy labelling her umbrella was not a coincidence. Ted loved to label everything,even had special kits for it. He thought that it was him who wrote TM because of course he would have. And the fact that their first name and surname letters are the same is amusing but more so- both of them are trying to convince the other that it’s theirs because their stuff is labelled ALWAYS and it’s one of the first things(apart from a gigantic sign from a universe) that made them bond. All the similarities that an author has showed in this video were amazing but this one similarity was what made them realise,right there on a spot, that they have similar passion for things .
Even though I hated the finale and overly was sorely disappointed with the direction the show took, you showed a lovely end for two characters who had an amazing life together!!
I met my significant other in a similar way in the sense that we had been around each other for years but had no idea of each others existence. When we finally met and talked we realized we had been with each other the whole time. And much like Ted I would do anything to have more time with her, even if she is still with me alive and well. Any extra time with her is all I want.
The only series that surpasses every incident that has ever happened in anyones life and it gives you high hopes that at the end of the day its just destiny that will put you in a box with someone who will love you until their last breath... The ending is kind of perfect. She embodies everyone there. She didn't oppose his friendship with Robin, because she was in the same situation as Ted. They both had ones that "got away." And in the end, the one that got away was found.

Eventually u will find your girl with the yellow umbrella waiting for you at the station. It's in your destiny. & That made me happy. And then came those 2 shitty episodes, where Tracy dies & Ted runs to Robin. & With those 2 episodes I am told that screw destiny now, stole a blue french horn & run to your Robin otherwise you will left alone all your life. & Guess what, I will & that's because unlike Ted, I am not lucky enough, to get love from my Robin. I won't be able to go back to my Robin. & That would be the case of many such lovers who have failed in love in their life & won't go back to their Robin. The ending of this show has made all of those lose faith in destiny for all those such people. That's the biggest loss of this show. However for me this show will always be how Ted got the love of his life, Tracy ❤️
I've never taken to the show but I absolutely fucking love what you did with this, dude... how you stitched together the couple's seemingly fated story. Incredibly organic, free-flowing editing, and the amount of development you give characters in such a short amount of time is superb as always. Editing aside, I think it's what most separates you from other editors; that definition of the characters... doing them justice by giving them real depth. This vid's another brilliant exhibition of your prowess as an editor.

I had no idea you watched HIMYM so I was really excited when I saw this posted. This is such a perfect tribute to this couple. The song choices and the voiceovers are perfect (as they always are with your vids). I really wish we could have seen more of them (and the mother in general) on the show, and I completely agree, no other actress could have played The Mother.
I definitely wasn't thinking I would cry when I started watching this video but it is beyond beautiful! It amuses me how in only a few episodes this fan base fell in love with the mother! She definitely exceeded the expectations we had for 9 years! Love Tracy's portrayal... She's perfect and so is Ted!

I haven’t reached One Billion viewings, but I have watched the entire series 4 times all the way through. The problem with watching it again... none of the jokes hit well enough to make me laugh, because I know all of them already. So the greatest romantic sitcom ever starts getting more and more depressing each time you watch the whole series. The quality of the show is still incredible though. And yes, “HIMYM” is Better than “Friends”. Periodt.

Though I hated the final season of How I Met Your Mother, your video captured one of its few positive aspects beautifully. Watching it made me wish the final season was primarily focused on the Mother-Ted relationship and not the longest weeding weekend of all time. Well done.

I used to hate season 9 until I realized how brilliant it was. The writers of the show did something spectacular with season 9, but lets start with seasons 1-8. As someone who as watched and re-watched the show, I can say that it goes by so quickly. All those episodes, all those years just went by in a hurry and I miss them. That is exactly how Ted feels. He has so many relationships that almost every single viewer can relate to at least one of them. People feel for Ted. They feel how quickly those years go by, and then comes Barney and Robin's wedding. A entire season devoted to a couple of days. Why would the writers do this? Why not incorporate other things? Why keep all these characters locked away in an inn when you want to see one final hoorah? The answer is so simple, yet so packed full of emotion. Season 9 drags on for the viewer just like the wedding does for Ted. That was the longest weekend of his life, and the writers make the viewer feel that. You feel the dread of the show ending- similar to the dread Ted feels with moving on to Chicago. You feel his sadness, you feel his anxiety, you are put in the shoes of Ted Mosby, which is why the shows powerful ending is so heartbreaking and sad. Ted and the viewer wait so long to meet the mother, especially in season 9 when that is all you want- it's all he wanted too. Only two episodes show Ted and Tracy together, that's not enough! Again, the years Ted spent with Tracy is all put into two episodes because that's how it felt to him. It was the best time of his life, and it was all over that fast. Just like that it was gone. Although heartbreaking, season 9 was spectacular from a writing stand point. To be able to get the viewer to feel all those real emotions is just incredible. This show changes how people view love, especially towards the end.

I don't want to sound like a pussy, but i cried watching this video and it made me realize that everything ted tried to do to find the love of his life was one step forward to realize that she was their and she will always be their even if she is gone because ted loves her and thats real love. And as i said that everything he tried to do to find the love of his life got him one step forward to find tracy so destiny brought them together when they were waiting for each other, Its a crazy thought but I believe in it
Many peole say it was a horrible ending (i didn't saw the ending yet thats the last episode for me to watch, a friend told me about it) but for me it was just love, at the end ted found her a I bet he'll never regret it

I'm really disappointed that tracy died but then I realized that himym wasn't trying to give us a happy ending. They were just depicting the lives of five people in a group.
And in life there isn't always a happy ending & you have to live with it.
The original ending wasn't just an insult to Ted and Tracy, it was also the biggest insult to Barney and Robin herself. All that time building up their relationship; Robin: the one woman that Barney will finally settle down for, and Barney: the one man that Robin will finally put before her career, then the ending threw all that character development out the window.
I love the fact that, for robin, ted has to dance to make it rain...
But for tracy, it was already raining.
This video shows how it was all there. All the beautiful moments that made Tracy and Ted's life together. Its only when you piece them together like this so perfectly that you finally understand the power of this show.

Ted has always believed in true love and has fought for it. He deserves to win that. Tracy deserves to live a long life because she's absolutely awesome,Robin deserves to experience that true love exists and Barney deserves to finally win the game, find peace and summit to someone. But I can't shake this feeling, that we belong together." When Barney repeated after Robin, word for word; not knowing that's what Robin felt for him, I knew they were meant for each other. The Ted and Robin ending is completely unrealistic.
What an absolutely PERFECT tribute to not only Ted and Tracy but the show. It was everything the show was actually about for me. All the little hints they gave along the way, and all the things that didn't make sense until the very end. You captured it all beautifully. This is how I'll always remember them.

What I am going to say sounds like weird but I'm not a very emotional person. I mean, the only time I really cried was when my girlfriend died. But this video just made me cry so bad everytime I watch it. It's like if my feelings all show themselfes at the same time and that everything I saw in Ted's relationship make me think about my girlfriend, I know it sounds dumb but my relationship was the same et ended up the same way... The death came to take her to a better place where birds sing all years and where war never existed. Sorry for my bad english but I had to confess this to someone, even if this "someone" isn't my friend. This video make me understand every day that I have feelings, but they only need to be search and found.

It took my years to realise this until now-
Tracy labelling her umbrella was not a coincidence. Ted loved to label everything,even had special kits for it. He thought that it was him who wrote TM because of course he would have.
And the fact that their first name and surname letters are the same is amusing but more so- both of them are trying to convince the other that it’s theirs because their stuff is labelled ALWAYS and it’s one of the first things(apart from a gigantic sign from a universe) that made them bond.
All the similarities that an author has showed in this video were amazing but this one similarity was what made them realise,right there on a spot, that they have similar passion for things .

Even though I hated the finale and overly was sorely disappointed with the direction the show took, you showed a lovely end for two characters who had an amazing life together!!
I met my significant other in a similar way in the sense that we had been around each other for years but had no idea of each others existence. When we finally met and talked we realized we had been with each other the whole time. And much like Ted I would do anything to have more time with her, even if she is still with me alive and well. Any extra time with her is all I want.
The only series that surpasses every incident that has ever happened in anyones life and it gives you high hopes that at the end of the day its just destiny that will put you in a box with someone who will love you until their last breath... The ending is kind of perfect. She embodies everyone there. She didn't oppose his friendship with Robin, because she was in the same situation as Ted. They both had ones that "got away." And in the end, the one that got away was found.

To whom it may concern, make sure that when you get everything you ever wished for, you take good care of it.
Here is the thing. I used to love a girl. It was one sided through out. When I learned the reality that she is never going to love me back the way I do or the way I want, it left me heart broken to the core. & It makes me feel that there is no one out there for me. & Then I watch this show & through out the 9 seasons I am getting this feeling that relax, it's going to be ohkk. Eventually u will find your girl with the yellow umbrella waiting for you at the station. It's in your destiny. & That made me happy. And then came those 2 shitty episodes, where Tracy dies & Ted runs to Robin. & With those 2 episodes I am told that screw destiny now, stole a blue french horn & run to your Robin otherwise you will left alone all your life. & Guess what, I will & that's because unlike Ted, I am not lucky enough, to get love from my Robin. I won't be able to go back to my Robin. & That would be the case of many such lovers who have failed in love in their life & won't go back to their Robin. The ending of this show has made all of those lose faith in destiny for all those such people. That's the biggest loss of this show. However for me this show will always be how Ted got the love of his life, Tracy ❤️

I've never taken to the show but I absolutely fucking love what you did with this, dude... how you stitched together the couple's seemingly fated story. Incredibly organic, free-flowing editing, and the amount of development you give characters in such a short amount of time is superb as always. Editing aside, I think it's what most separates you from other editors; that definition of the characters... doing them justice by giving them real depth.
