can someone explain what is the tech even for? all i see is that the zerk can quickly back up and gain some distance, but that means giving up all the pressure berserk can do. hell, the distance isn't enough to outspace most forward bashes or dodge attacks

Your main problem with glad is that you don't know when to take your damage and when to play with punishes. He is one of the last hero that get that level of play, since they dumbed down any other kit into orange to bash mixup
When the playstyle said gladiator was easy they lied, when I first tried gladiator it was hard to learn. Got better bow but still feels difficult to play at times.
I really hate how ubisoft makes this game almost a decade ago, patents the combat system, then doesn't do shit with it as if they got it perfect on the first try. I know the studio probably doesn't bring in the revenue to justify spending much more on this game, but making a game from the ground up, with all they've learned from slowly and painfully balancing For Honor over 8 years, would have massive potential both mechanically and commercially - a win win!
The "dodge tech" for Zerk is an exploit in my opininion. Its not a tech. It clearly isnt intended to work like that and will probably get patched out in a few years or so. Its just a time wasting bug for people to irritate others with.

I don't think you can pad out a film with actors, visuals and music and it just turns out a great film. Napoleon is an example of that
