I don't see words, but pictures, and to process what someone else says, I hear their words in my head but don't see the letters. When I am thinking of what to say, I hear myself in my head but I don't see words/ letters. Sometimes when I see pictures, the wrong words for those pictures come up in my head in a non-sensical kind of way. So if I see a spoon, I might think of the word table. Doesn't happen daily but enough to notice it.

Have you found anything that helps to clear the fog?
I have ADHD and an autism diagnosis and my inability to think clearly is ruining my life. Stimulants and taking care of my microbiome are the only things that have helped a bit.

Fish oil, vitamine b complex (especially b6 (in active form p-5-p)) , zinc. In most cases depleted in autistic People. Like me. Dopamine boosting exercises Like meditation, 30 minuten runs also help. And last but not least gluten free and Milk free diet helped a lot.
