As a Looney Tunes stan I cannot describe enough how hard I smiled when I clicked on this and heard the Foghorn Leghorn voice. Any other person woulda given them a typical evil scientist voice, but your references Juno are genius.

"What the peck are you gonna cock-a-doodle do" is a heck of a fun catchphrase for a chorus. It's also always fun to see boss progression in Juno lyrics, and Colonel Pluck's glorious bird references are a great way to keep up the wacky energy of the DK franchise in general. The tasteful explosions at the end definitely bring the whole cover together.
And for the memes (which Donkey Kong is also known for, obviously) - the rendition of the DK eyeballs-out-of-sockets face in the art is glorious. And - hey, isn't "monkey with a glock" a reference to that one beta where Donkey Kong had a fully modeled shotgun?

I never thought I needed to see Foghorn Leghorn fight Donkey Kong in a pair of robot chickens legs but Juno has truly opened my eyes.
The line “I’m about to OSHA violate you” goes unreasonably hard…and the best part is that it’s not even that great compared to the _rest_ of the cover. Great work as always, Juno!

An excellent cover of everyone’s favorite poultry-guided plantain-pounding mech and master! You struck an excellent balance of memery and seriousness and the depiction of the Colonel is so perfect. I never would have thought of it in a million years. The art is stellar as per usual and the line “what the peck are you gonna cock-a-doodle-doo?!” is perhaps my favorite line of the year now.
As someone who also did a cover of this song, I know full well the effort and thought that goes into it and I can confidently say you did a fantastic job! 9/9 puzzle pieces!

David Wise wasn't directly involved in doing the music of DKCR, for this one, Kenji Yamamoto is the genius.
