Im from the UK and in Europe we are used this kind of Train in our stations all the time and we have lines that reach 320 km/h (200 mph) in many nations We have a line in the UK which goes from the channel tunnel to London which is 300 km/h (186 mph) It’s refreshing to see the US having the European rail treatment all you need now is a few High speed lines As we would say in the UK “Splendid work chap”
It might be useful for the Americans to put an end to this preposterous practice of ringing the bell (and also flashing the lights) when a train enters a station. Why such a fuss? In "normal" countries, a train entering a station is not a big deal, so no need to draw attention in such a conspicuous way.
The purpose is to not cause a “fuss” lmao it’s a safety reason. There are an astronomical amount of train related incidents in this country with trespasser strikes and cars stuck on crossings, work crews etc, taking the bell, horn and lights away would be disaster in situations especially with rising speed limits.
nobody gonna talk about the NJT arrow in the backround? Also nice video lol

Thanks! I agree with you, we need the infrastructure to match the train.

It’s used in railway crossings without as some in America do not have built in warning bells and lights
