    Greg, I’ve been carrying mine since I won the first ASK back in November. It’s a fantastic product. It’s an amazing tool, perfect size, perfect tools. Now I have 2 of them, and I’ll be ordering the Atlas soon. When I say “EVERY” day, I literally mean December 17th of last year until today, and everyday forth, I’ll have an ASK in my pocket. Easy to work on, clean, amazing durability. I’ve done a lot of reviews and mentions on the ASK. Some people just wanna be negative Towards it, but they also haven’t handled it yet. Don’t knock it till you try it. I support the hell out of this brand! Keep the bad ass coming! Looking forward to that ol pocket clip! 🇺🇸💯🔪

    I hate when people say it’s three times expensive because it’s made in America. This is way different. The ASK is an amazing tool regardless where it is made, but even better because it is American made. Congratulations Greg on making a tool that guys have dreamed about since getting their first knife. Only one word can describe this knife…..BADASS! Will only get better with more options. Absolutely in love with this knife. THANK YOU!

    “ it’s not meant to be a Little man chochki”😂😂😭. I love mine , I think these were a brilliant idea that no one else wanted to risk . People who don’t see it just don’t understand and are ignorant. This is the SAK that us real knife guys wanted for years! Keep it up Greg , we see you! I really think you have something here. Thank you

    really like mine. the bottle opener and the pry tool are both shaped really well to get in and wedge something open. been very useful. i know you’ve talked about how hard it is, but i feel like if it had scissors it would be pretty much perfect, that and some titanium scales available would be epic

    The ASK knives are an extremely badass version of the Victorinox SAK's. The Jefferson is so awesome and I think they are worth the $240 price tag. They are 100% Made in the USA, use premium materials, built by a badass knife company, and they are modular. You get what you pay for when it comes to the knives Greg Medford puts out.

    Hey Greg I’ve been using this knife for the last week since I picked it up from you at Grommets grand opening in riverside ca. I’m definitely putting It to work as I build high rise elevators and never not have the need for a small tool to pry or blade to jamb in smaller places. Maybe in the future you can release a jade g10 scale so we can customize the color ourselves using the dye method. Can’t wait to pick up more tools along your adventure in making the most versatile American made bad ass ASK multi tool. Thanks aging for the amazing work to you and your team🤘🏽🤘🏽

    You should hit up Appalachian outfitters in ohio to carry this brand. Your market for this knife in my opinion, is high end hiking canoeing retailers. Not necessarily knife and gun stores. Appalachian outfitters keep their high end knives in the glass case by the register. That's your target audience. You know how most of those people roll though, so I'd suggest keeping the politics a thousand miles away as you did in this video. Still waiting on mine to show up!

    I dont use Swiss army knives because the few that I have had use such shitty steel that I have bent and broken the blade. Using real steel with some beefiness to it is exactly what I want in one.

    If you're looking for suggestions I'd also like to see an 1/8" diameter round titanium preferred poker that's as long as it can be in the handle, I'd use it at work to release sockets from other tools and manually check hydraulic valves and as a bonus a pipe cleaner

    I'd like to have one with something wild like zirconium scales or even zircuti. I know it would make it heavier but I don't mind the extra weight.

    Planning to get one but waiting for the seax or tanto blade. Price seems responsible for what you are getting. Benchmade recently came out with a multi tool type knife at $225. This is how much USA, high quality knives cost. My only suggestion is to offer non-plastic scales, maybe as an upgrade option. Knife looks too good for plastic.

    I carry mine as a back up and use it every single day! I have wanted to carry another knife with me but I did not want a cheap SAK. This was the solution. I hope you have the best of luck with this new knife and brand!!

    Hey Greg really looking forward to picking one of these up. I have three areas of application where I would carry this knife. 1st. is day to day, 2nd is as a camping pocket blade, and 3rd is when I'm out fishing. I would pick up tools based on those 3 applications. For the day to day application I like how you have it initially set up, although a small phillips would be a good addition. For the camping application, a small saw and an awl would be great. For fishing I need to possibly tinker with a rod and reel, and perhaps some minor work on a small outboard motor. Hmmm, maybe I need 3 of them setup for each application? I really love that you are offering the moduelarity of tools. Awesome ideas and product!

    One more thing worth mentioning, this knife is capable of being the only knife to carry daily. I’ve used it to start a fire in a video that’s pretty cool. But it’s definitely an EDC knife. It’s fun figuring out all the different ways to use this tool.

  • @paulmills426
    @paulmills426 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    So will you be able to buy different blade steel blades for the knife? Say it comes with s45vn and I want to try out Magnacut or some new super steel you guys start to work with down the road. Will you guys be making the blades out of all blade steels you work with?

  • @Maddawwg45
    @Maddawwg45 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    i love the modular idea because while i love my victorinox most things on the model i want isn’t available so with this u can customize it to your taste plus i’m a steel snob so i love the highend materials and as far as price well look at the after market prices on ANY gec after its released my suggestion is to make a bunch of different styles , colors , materials of scales too

    This is basically "Fear of Missing Out" So you finally admit the absolute relevance & necessity in people carrying a traditional S.A.K. (Swiss Army Knife) instead of a $700 titanium flipper? I feel like this is about 5-8 years past due *or* you are just trying to butt in on the S.A.K & MKM market for no reason. Why are you trying to intrude in the "traditional S.A.K." market after all these years ? Obviously I'll probably get one as a collector.. however it seems highly greed driven after all these years. Especially since this isn't the first one, on the market. We also have "traditional S.A.K type knives" in M390.. a few companies have already been doing this. It's like Pizza Hut serving hamburgers. Of McDonald's selling spaghetti... Why ?!? It's out of greed & FOMO (fear of missing out). In this case, it's fear of missing out on a whole type of knife collector/user. i.e: the traditional knife guys.

    Love the idea of adding/removing tools. I thought it was just scales. I have used SA knives for 30 years. I use tweezers and toothpicks a lot. Phillips and the flat as well. Also, the little pliers that come in the bigger SA knives are awesome. And file and wood saw maybe. But the pliers a definite need. Totally would pay the price for what you do. Why I’ve been a loyal customer for years. 👏🏼🇺🇸🫡
