  • The American Service Knife (ASK) is a modular and customizable knife/multitool made 100% in United States of America. This video is a basic overview of the assembly of a custom variation - triple-stack with Bottle Opener, Chisel Tool, 1/4 Turn Tool, Awl, and the Scandinavian-style Seax blade.

The Seax was one of their original fighting knives. Popular during the Viking Age and among the Germanic peoples of the Migration Period and the Early Middle Ages.

Great Video: I would like to see a few options available.
    1. Thin out the blade geometry and the knife will cut better.
    2. The thinner primary blade would make room for an additional blade on the opposing side. (or nail file \ thin profile tool)
    3. Provide additional parts as part of the package. (Indexing pins for the clip, pins that hold it together, extra torx screws)
The clip should be "standard" in my opinion. The excellent scales will hold up much better if the knife is not getting scratched up with whatever is at the bottom of my pocket. (Keys, coins, etc)
As to the price of the knife, if the company is selling directly to the customer it might be possible to lower it a bit.
The dealer channel is marking up the product 2x.
Would I buy one? Yes, to get premium blade steel.
I plan to gift one to a friend who carries a Swiss army knife and hates how quickly the knife gets dull.
MADE IN THE USA.. WORTH IT!

@@KnifeChatswithTobias Now we will need to differentiate between a SAK and an ASK. Terrific concept here, I hope they price comes down some.

Great job and great demo. It looks like you just relaunched your you tube channel about 4 weeks ago. Just subbed. I like your presentation method.

I own a Jefferson but I got mine off of OfferUp for $50 but I would never have paid $240 for one that’s overpriced in my opinion

Went to website as I thought it looked cool. $240 is too steep for this.

All American made or not, it’s competing with the likes of the originator. This is $240 with a few tools and a SAK champ with 33 tools is $107. Good luck with that. My American money is with the original with its decades long proven reliability.

100% with you. No knock off can beat the original whatever the cost.
