Nice subdued paint scheme with just a bit of flare with the metal flake. I also love the Lizard Skins bar tape, I run LS bar tape myself in the 2.5 mm thickness, will probably never use another brand
paolo96 it might have tub tape (rather than glue) on it to secure it to the wheel. The flatted tire can peel off and the new one just stretched over the wheel. Flats on tubs are safer than clinchers, as the tire is still glued onto the wheel; very low chance it’ll dislodge.
It'll probably be pre-glued. A layer or three of glue on the tyre that is dry but when inflated and in contact with the remnants of glue on the rim forms a good enough bond to get you home. You just need to be a little bit cautious on the corners.. Just as easy to swap a punctured tub for a pre-glued spare as to change a clicnher inner tube really.
The most difficult thing is getting the punctured tyre off if it's *properly* glued on.. (and with pro teams they will be). You really need a plastic tyre lever to work under the tyre to get it started, but once you've got a bit of it off the rest just rips off. IME it takes about the same amount of time as changing a clincher inner tube, although if it's less well gued on it's quicker.
#askgcntech I fitted my mudguards getting ready for the winter here in Ireland but I fitted the front one too loose and it rubbed the paint off of the fork underside , carbon fork (liv langma) do I need to do anything the paint is completely gone down to the carbon . I've been wondering, how do u measure the drop from saddle to handlebar? Is it an estimate or you really put some Long straight ruler / stick parallel to each other and measure the distance?
Tall guy for a size S frame. Also there is not a lot of setback on his seat. All in all a bit unusual, even though seat height and rack are in range you would see for most 180 cm males. His weight is going to be unusually far forward. Edit added. Somebody below mentions this frame is 545 mm. So not crazy small but still on the small end of what you would expect. I guess it depends on other details of the geometry,
Yeah, with Ridley Small = Medium. I have the same same size frame - I'm a couple of centimeters shorter but not a pro.. For a pro it's actually not a small frame at all for his height.
Nice bike and presentation! I would rather see two M4 Allen key bolts per single breaking pad. One bolt per it is not really good solution in my opinion and I was wondering since my early age why do they do it. Two bolts per breaking pad would manage us using longer pads, finer adjustment, and stronger attachment!
Constantly losing those nonslip pads on my look cleats, good to know that bartape hack for the pedals so I can stop destroying my manparts slipping off the line
I think all this attention for freehub sound is redundant. If I apply thin grease in my freehub it sounds loud and aggressive and if I apply water resistant grease it sounds silent and subtle. BAN THE FREEHUB SOUND CHECK.

Neil might actually be easier to change a tub, as there’s no lip like a clincher has. Especially if the tub is pre-stretched.

just measure height from ground to handlebar and saddle. then quick maths.

The "small" size of Helium has a 385mm long Reach and 73.5° seat tube angle epic-cycles.co.uk/ridley-helium . That is a huge space for his body.

Thats very lightweight bike included pedals, cyclo, powermeter, bottles, 2 tyres and pump, cyclo, alloy stem and handlebar
