Why do you indians always prefer to hold on to old myths. These updated dsg unit have lost that quality of failure, but your head has not got updated. Maintaining a vw today is much cheaper than a maruti. And the hyundai dct unit is also probe to failures... Take a note of the repair cost of that as well. And hyundai creta turbo also has many instances of turbo failure. No one is making a fuss. Stop being a media pet, use your own head.
When will this question die. I've seen this same regurgitated question on every VW video. Is 1.0 enough. Bro it is more than enough it even beats other 1.5 NA engines in segment. VW 1.0 TSI is an award winning engine, small, powerful and efficient.
Being an ex duster(diesel) owner driven for 2.5 lakh km in 6 years I have eyes on city base and virtus base for again long-term use which will do lots of miles and hills what do you suggest and why ? It's been 5 months waiting for Nexon facelift but seems can't wait till sept anymore. AC is important maintenance is important tough road use is mandatory so should be durable.
I have the highline manual. I am getting good mileage in Delhi traffic of around 12 kmpl. It will increase further as the major servicing is still left to be done where they retune the petrol flow.
Kindly inform VW, to 'make in India', it's 13 years, & hightime, to start making engine & transmission ( gear box) here!! Otherwise, they won't grow above @1800 cars!! Invest in India, it's people!! Don't be an ostrich!!

I wish , there was a Naturally aspirated 1.6L which used to power the Vento as an option.
in india if you say na engines you will be crucified. they would foam at the mouth over the stupid sun roof as well
I've heard of that, but don't know much about that engine. was it diesel? cause VW after dieselgate is not launching most of its diesel cars in India
@@KShauryaDwivedi They had a 1.6 Petrol motor as well a 1.6L Diesel.
I wish they had made the 1.6L Petrol engine BS6 compliant.
@@configT I see, upgrading to comply with new norms is very expensive and VW doesn't exactly sell well in India
@@KShauryaDwivedi True.
The DSG is failure prone. Its costs a lot of money to replace the clutches of the DSG.
Yes the huge bills is one thing. But if you're travelling far , it's not something you want.
Which donkey is feeding you info about old issues, long resolved to be present now?
@@guruadiga which donkey told you that the issues have been resolved?

Ufff same old story !!! From where chutiya like you comes for commenting I don't know ,now DSG has no problems
They should give the torque converter with the 1.5tsi as well..
@@arko966 DSG is smooth enough
Problem is the cost ,so i have to go with 1L manual 😊😌
Guys DSG is never smoother than a TC in cities
It always fishes for the right gear
Got the 1.0L Auto for the city!
1.0 AT always
What after 60k dsg fails? And you spend 5/6 lacs is it??
Is the 1.0 engine enough?
Yes

This question needs to stop...
Drive it yourself.... Go to a showroom.
It's turbo charged 1.0 litre, the compression ( in cylinder pressure) during the power stroke will be much higher than NA engine
@@freud1025 absolutely 👍
What's your take on honda elevate as a family car ... better powered than grand vitara ... good boot space ...

Which are you finalize buddy? Pls share which car and why. Also please state how much city Mileage you are getting.
What did you get?
Please add a 4th reason that AC is also very bad in atleast 1.0 tsi.
feels super premium video
Thanks a ton! We'll pass your compliments on to the team!
@motorinc Planning to buy Tiagun 1.0l topline Manaul.
Is it the fuel efficient car to buy ?

@@uditpradhan9044 Thank for the info.
But I have seen many videos where I have found that they say , mileage is around 8-10 only.
@@Shashankkumawat The mileage is low at first, but after the car has been driven for a few months, it increases a lot. Same with mine
Perfect advice ...
Glad it was helpful!
Your statment on point one that it is fuel efficient is horribly wrong 😂
what's the mileage of manual 1.0L
Pls tell , why my car EPC light turn on ??
why 3 cylinders, I never understood!!
Please do not kill the manuals
Video reviews wont tell what problems you will face with 1.5 TSI
Why is that so? Can you explain?
What issues with the 1.5 manual?
How is the dsg trim cheaper to maintain over the torque converter automative after 60k km?
Dsg is not cheap 😂
dsg will definitely fail after 10 years in heavy city traffic. The torque converter is bullet proof and is even used in toyota cars.
Yes that is right, always torque converter is the best and mileage also better
If not thinking sensibly ? 😂🤣 then 1.5 tsi manual ?
😂
❤❤
Clutch heat karta hai iska
You, sir, forgot me. I have Virtus GT+ 1.5TSI in MT.
🤣♥️
Old car type interior

The only ostrich here is India with its regressive & punitive tax laws
