I was a cash fairy! It was such a great experience even though we didn't do hair, we had great interactions with the families and got to create magic!!

@@OnceUponaBron Yesss it was so fun!! I was seasonal at the MK location only for a few months before lockdown but such a dream! So far the best job I had at Disney.

@@juliesmith3144 We are part of the boutique! Like she mentioned we just handle the cash part. So obviously the parties have to pay for the experience so we handle the payments of the packages they bought or anything they find in the store. We also keep stock in the shop so that there's always dresses available. Cash Fairies are also greeters too! We stand at the doors and greet families or explain what the BBB is! It's a lot of fun!! So we are fairies, we just don't do the hair/makeup!

I remember back when Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique opened! My mom and older brother tried so hard back then to be able to get me in but never could. Now I'm unfortunately too old to, but wish I had the experience. I absolutely loved seeing the boutique as a kid, and I'm sure it's still as magical.
Do they still do the pirate transformations? It was a lot easier to get into, and didn’t have an age range. They had mermaid transformations, too
I love that kids could choose to be a princess or a knight, regardless of their assigned gender. What a gift to be able to make magical memories that kids will remember forever. 💖💖

I’m a FGIT at Disneyland in California! There’s so much that’s the same but a lot that’s different over here. We don’t differentiate between cash fairies and hair fairies, we all get to do everything! And sadly we don’t get the variety in our costumes, we just get the purple skirt, light pink shirt, and blue/purple apron. Also I can’t even count how many people come in thinking they booked at Disneyland when they accidentally booked with Disney World 😂
Ahh I miss it so much. I still have pixie dust on everything I own lol

I’m in college right now, and it has been my dream to the DCP since like 6th grade, and it is so devastating not being able to apply, I am hoping that they start doing it again within the next few years 🥺💖 and I love your channel so much!! I’ve been watching it since ur second program!!

I was even one of the little girls put in the window so you could see we getting all Dazzled up, and even though it was so weird having random people window watch me, but it was so fun. Being a kid in the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique is honestly so magical, and the fairy godmothers in training I had when I went made it so much more magical, they really made my trip when I was little. It's so fun learning about the behind the scenes of things like that, and hearing that it keeps up giving kids that kind of experience is incredibly fun to hear, I always love seeing kids all dolled up from that since I know how that feels, Hairsprayed up and all.

I used to work in the BBB in London, which one the first one outside Disney property, I used to say Ariel gives us swimming lessons in the River Thames.
I did BBB like 10yrs ago on my first DCP :D soo missed it, I loved working during the MNSSHP

I watched a transformation and realized that you were in the video!! The smiles on the children's faces were amazing! This has got me thinking about the DCP.
This was interesting and I never thought about looking up Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Botique vids, but I did and the 2nd one I watched actually had you in it, how crazy is that! 😱My daughter is 16 now, and we didn’t start going to the parks until she was 9, I wish we would’ve gotten this done! 😭♥️👏🏼👑
I understand that adults can't dress up and go into the park for charter integrity, but they should have an option were you still can dress up -- just for a brief photo shoot or something fun like that.
They do have events where adults can dress up in Magic Kingdom. I don’t know what they are called.

Aw I miss Disney so much, I’m super high risk so even though I have a trip in June (rescheduled from last March) I won’t be able to go unless I get the vaccines and living in Tennessee makes it even harder since it’s so bad BUT I’m literally praying that my family extends our trip (if we even get to go) cause My birthday is the week after and I’m hoping we can make the best out of the pandemic and take advantage of the slightly shorter wait times.
But until I can get there myself, thank you Bronwyn, as always for bringing pixie dust and magic through the phone 🥰✨

I feel like a lot has changed at the boutique since I went as a little girl. I remember there only being 3 hairstyles to choose from. How awesome that you got to be a part of the magic for these little kids.

10/10 video about the BBB experience!!! I was a CP in the castle Fall 2018! Literally the best job at Disney. I am so sad I don't get to talk about FGIT school at my job now.
I was “accidentally” hired at bbb for my spring 20 program because my interviewer didn’t realize that wrist tattoos were not allowed. I was so sad but I ended up getting re cast to the haunted mansion. Still always will wish I could’ve worked at bbb but I love hearing you talk about it!!

This is my absolute dream role but unfortunately it's still not open. Hopefully one day! I do have my cosmology license and styling kids' hair for daddy daughter dances, older young people for prom, and adults for weddings are my favorite thing. When I did my first CP in 2019 I wanted the boutique and now applying again in 2022, it's still my dream role. I was low-key glad that I didn't get it the first time around because I got to be a part of the opening team for merch in SWGE :) There are so many ways to make magic at Disney, I miss it!

When you mentioned at the end to look up transformations on TH-cam it reminded me - I’ve done that before, I don’t have kids and never got to go myself and wanted to see what it was like, and the fairy doing nails in the video I watched happened to be you! It was such a surprise, and was awesome to watch considering pretty much anything I knew about the boutique in the first place had been from your channel and socials :)

Hi Bronwyn! I actually did the program at the same time as you and I remember sitting with you during our hair braiding class--I was at Disney Springs, though! I made an extensive video on the experience of visiting the boutique (th-cam.com/video/8SH3Xh3A1Ns/w-d-xo.html), but I have wanted to make one on actually working at the boutique as a CP, so I definitely enjoyed watching yours!
I did the boutique when I was 7 years old and I have short curly hair but they were still able to make it work! It was so cute and I loved it so much

How do you go about applying when you’re not in the college program? I’m a cosmetologist and am SUPER interested in working there but am so lost on how to even start applying.
I remember when the barbershop on main street pixiedusted. Bibbidi put an end to that, according to the people there.
Wondering if you could possibly answer a question... Have you heard anything about when any of the boutiques might possibly be reopening? Planning a trip to WDW Orlando in May 2021 and was hoping for the best but the closer the date approaches I’m having my doubts. Thanks in advance.
Huge Disney buff here and stumbled on your channel looking at info on BBB for my daughter on our next trip, love the behind the scenes stuff with cast members. Ended up watching another video with some kids actually going through the boutique and BOOM, you show up in there being magical as her fairy godmother for nails!
I can understand why this is on hold with the restrictions given how the guest interaction involves so much closeness and physical touching, but I really hope they bring this back soon. Looks so fun for the kids and you girls "training" as fairy godmothers are so cute and fun with them!

I was just wondering if you guys were trained to do hair for kids with super curly or coily natural hair? Most of the transformations I’ve seen were always with kids with straight or wavy hair so I wasn’t sure if all hair types are accommodated for.

it’s pretty similar but they don’t have the same age restrictions. they announced last year they’d be closing in july and with the park closures and such they said they won’t be reopening again

There’s an age limit for BBB if I remember exactly I know it’s very unfortunate because I’m going to plan a cruise trip on a Disney cruise for my 30th in 2027 and wanted to do BBB but found out the age limit was 12
