if i wear sneakers to the park i throw a pair of cheap flip flops in my bag that i change into if it starts raining

On a rainy day at animal with my dad we got to see Nemo 3 times ride Everest 6 time eat lunch at the Dino place eat a snack at the avatar cafe and ride Flight of passage 5 times so I think a rainy day at any park is the best!

Ila Grace the only sad part of that day was that I almost got lost🥲but I tracked where they were from my Life360 app and they weren’t that far away👍🏼
The bridge into Tomorrowland (which I call my bridge lol, I keep getting tland on cps) is a great place to watch fireworks.
You can see the projections and Tink flies right over you.
Rainy days are my favorite in the parks both during work and as a guest.

My biggest tip is, if you enjoy reading, buy a kindle and take it with you! I often read 6 or 7 books on a two week vacation just from reading in line/while waiting for fireworks/parades
Another thing - if you have the opportunity/are able to get a lanyard/ticket for an after hours event, TAKE IT. My family is very fortunate to be able to do this (though not every year), and whenever we do it, it’s amazing! You basically have the ENTIRE park to yourself. One time me and my sisters actually rode Splash Mountain atleast 15 times. This is especially helpful if your someone who goes for all the rides, because all the lines are basically nonexistent.
One more thing😂 - my family isn’t too big on shows/festivals/parades, so if you’re like us, hit the rides while those are going on. The wait times on rides will be significantly lower. This past year (2019) we took a vacation to WDW and there was some show going on at Animal Kingdom (can’t remember which one). We headed over to Everest and there was like a 10 or 15 minute wait and we just kept riding it! It was super fun!
Floridan here! On weekends when we want to go drop by Disney we’ll check the weather, snag some fastpasses if we can, and bring an umbrella if it looks rainy.

am i the only one who absolutely loves when it rains at Disney??? it so fun to run in the puddles with the poncho on and get all wet plus everyone leaves LMAOO once time it started pouring at mk and since a lot of people were leaving the front of the castle was empty so we made boomerangs and tiktoks with the castle in the background :))

Happily Ever After from California Grill is pure magic. That's my favorite place to watch the fireworks.
A tip I have is that if you're plan on riding It's a Small World, do it at night. In the morning and afternoon the line is usually pretty long. But once it gets dark the line is always 15 minutes or less. Plus you're probably pretty tired and small world is a great ride to ride when you're feet are killing you.
Am I the only one who is scared of small world at night?
One tip I'd add is, if you want a FP, be relentless. Over a dozen times I've woken up and wanted to go to DMK instead of whatever park I had FP's for. So I cancelled them out, went onto MDE and got Space, BTRR & 7DMT at 9a, 10a, 11a (+/- 1 hour). On the last weekend the parks were open, my buddy and I got all FPs (even the ones we didn't need to get) for both DHS & Epcot (plus we got in early enough to get BG-20 for Rise).If don't have the patience, make sure you link-up with someone who will grind out your FPs bc it'll turn a good day into a great one!

My oceanography teacher used to work at the aquarium in Seas with Nemo and Friends in Epcot and she showed us photos, it was the coolest thing ever
my family always stays at the park when it rains, our favourite thing to do is the water rides during the rain. just makes it more fun!
I can’t wait to do some of these things when the parks open up again! It makes me more excited for my DCP this Fall ☺️
I would like to add is be prepared to walk 5-8 miles everyday you are in a park. Map out a strategy to minimize double, triple or more same ground. Example if get you 3 fast passes at MK don’t go Big Thunder Mountain then Space Mountain and Splash Mountain unless you want to walk back and forth through the whole park 3 times.Drink plenty of water.
Nothing wrong with walking. I wish I was still allowed to run in the parks, but after I turned like 16 the CMs would yell at me :(
5-8 miles is a slow day. I usually get 10+ easy

I never leave the parks/resorts once we arrive. We call it the Disney bubble. We love the immersive experience ❤️

They recently changed the kidcot fun stops to be little zip lock travel bags and you color a picture which something from the country on this little card where you get a stamp I think and a little sticker too. I miss the Duffy’s if I’m being honest.

SOMETHING ELSE TO ADD: IN VERY LONG LINES LIKE FLIGHT OF PASSAGE THEY HAVE BATHROOM PASSES!!!!!!!! and once you get back from the bathroom, they have you wait inside right where the line finishes to meet the rest of your party once your about to get in the ride.
One memory I have from Disneyland California:
I was about like 3 or 4 and I fell asleep on the bench waiting for the bus to take to our hotel!
Me my mom and my grandma have always gone since I was like 2 or 3 and I’m now 12

I’m a CM also the a hack for making FPs that I learned is if you’re linked with someone on MDE who has an AP, you can make FPs thirty days in advance as long as they’re on the FPs also. I learned this because most of my family has APs! Hope this helps anyone!

actually you can’t use 3 fastpasses then get 3 more you can only use 3 a day
You can schedule 3 ahead of time and then 1 at a time after you use up your first 3. I’ve used over 20 in a day before
That's not true at all. We did at least 10 fast passes a day.
Don't forget sunscreen, water bottle, or a light sweater
