Not so much actually, charge characters don't benefit as much from modern since you don't get the instant-reaction supers and specials (you still have to charge the moves). I don't think he loses a ton so definitely play modern if its comfortable for you.
@@UnboxRacing You lose his overhead (which is big if people know about it) and standing Heavy punch which is one of his better buttons. The rest aren't all that important.

Oh what! i just noticed something annoying... at 8:45 it says he gained 172 points then when you check his opponents points at 8:48... they only lost 40, I haven't played ranked but i was under the impression that it was a give and take. So if you won 172 points, i assumed they LOST 172 points; the fact that they don't is kinda shit to me because you can gain points super quick but not lose them super quick... at least only for Diamond 5 and Master

I heard the newest patch improved or removed the region lock, so youll likely find more matches now.
