Cristian is easily the most chilled CEO ever, he looks very approachable :D
I actually met him at Monterey several years ago. VERY chill, laid back, VERY approachable. And he never seemed to tire of talking anything automotive -- not just his own fantastic machines. Seems like a genuinely nice guy. I met him and James (The Stradman) both on that particular trip, and both are very cool fellas.

Oh he’s very approachable which is crazy to think considering he’s a CEO. Most of them just push people away and ask you to turn towards other people which is very disappointing. Nice to see somebody who takes a lot of pride and joy in their company and works with their employees and higher ups!

It technological aspect isn’t that revolutionary actually - it is just expensive to build, so nobody did it before.
@@umaxi96 Although i think you're selling the technological side of it a bit short, since there are plenty of manufactures on the 'expensive side' of the market who still think along very conventional lines to build a car, i wasn't really talking about that. I was more talking about creating a true fourseater-hypercar (and not for midgets) with luggagespace to boot, a set of doors that nobody seems to have thought of before, and a whopping 1700 bhp. It's such an insane concept when you start to add all these things up and make it work in a design. They really thought 'out of the box' on this one. That it looks so logical to exist in the carspace, only adds to its brilliance.

i don't hate the urus in fact if i was rich i'd definitely buy that imo it's very forward thinking if you can incorporate something like the Germa or Urus since most people have families anyways and your not always going to be alone with said family so this covers both and makes buying one alot easier on those dads or husbands who have to convince the misses XD

it would easily go 75-78, i won't be surprised if doug scores it within the low 80's, on doug's philosophy in scoring cars, it will be hindered only with the relatively small storage space and spare parts availability. other than that this would EASILY be the dougscore champion, 1000 miles, 4 seater, battery and efficiency package, this is leaps and bounds ahead of the competition.

The amount of inspiration, technology, and the sheer passion to create something that brings the impossible dream into reality.

It's incredible, what Christian Von Konigsegg achieved, in auto industry !!! A man that came from nothing, to built an exceptional car brand. In all aspects, of an automobile. Design, power, safety, performance, inovation, technology, you name it. How that, is possible for such a small brand with limited ressources !?!?!? It proves that, even today, we can still dream about doing different, from stablished giant companys, and shake them up, doing better even, if ower dreams came from nothing. I've been absolutely obsessed with this company ever since I heard of it in the early 2000's and it's probably one of the reasons why I went down the engineering route as a career. Christian is an absolute genius and a visionary. I'd love to have a pint with him and pick his brains. I thought the Jesko was going to be my favorite piece of Koenigsegg kit from the next wave of cars coming through the ranks but this is absolutely mind-blowing. Hats off to everyone involved and although the likely-hood of me owning one of these in the future is slim to none it's always the dream to and that's when you know you're making the best cars in the world, when you have grown ass men salivating over them 😅

Why are there always idiot Elon bashers on these videos? You realize Tesla makes hundreds of thousands of cars per year that outperform BMW, Mercedes, Audi etc. in both range and performance? And the model S (built in 2012) is still ahead of anything they make? On top of that, Tesla will have full autonomous driving on the road before anyone else.
You can love both guys and what they create. But let's not pretend Elon is second to anyone.

On a side note, Porsche's Taycan outperforms the latest Model-S Raven in a straight line, in braking and around a track, just not in range. This Koenigsegg delivers the performance promised by Tesla's new Roadster, which was teased a long time ago. Nobody knows when Tesla will deliver it, what performance figures it will actually offer, or if it will achieve 620 miles of range on a charge. As you see, there is reason to compare these car makers and their leading figures.

What you don't understand, and probably never will if you continue to reason like this, is that you can't put Mercedes, BMW and Audi on the same level as Tesla.
When you buy a Mercedes (for example), you buy a hundred years of history in motorsport and in making cars. You know that is luxury and sporty. You can feel that when you're inside one or when you're driving one.
Tesla on the other hand, is a brand that makes exclusively means of transport. They are extremely practical, lots of space, quiet, quick, long range (for an EV). That is where they outperform the competiton, surely not in the circuit because they handle worse than a truck, but they are by far the most practical. You should compare them to Dacia (altough the price level is very different), that makes means of transport too, not vehicles to enjoy the ride, like BMW, (for example).
As I said, Teslas are not sports cars. If Tesla CEO is boasting their technology, and would like to give the brand a sporty appeal, why not take part in Formula E? Why not give a sense of 'American' and build cars in the United States, instead of China?
Because Tesla's only purpose is making money, passion less than 0.

Genius comes in all forms. Say what you will about Elon, but I went from seeing the rare Tesla driving around, to them now being seen all over. The supercharger network, the various electric models as well the upcoming roadmap. Lest we forget the $2K stock price (there are certainly arguments as to why it’s so high, but still - $2K/share). Personally I would prefer the Gemera and absolutely love the product/brand CvK has created. However I would not discount Elon’s genius, despite some of his quirkiness :)

I still remember meeting Christian at the ferry lane back from England in the ‘90’s….he was in his first silver-metallic pre-production prototype “V8-powered CC sumfin’…” and me and my GF were on my custom-built neon-yellow Harris Magnum 2 RR. Quite a nerdy motorhead tech-talk ensued in rather broken english, unitl I finally realised this aspiring genious car-nerd was actually from Sweden….😄
