Well, thought it was a masterpiece too until the video of the GMA T50 Cosworth engine came online, now anything with a dinosaur chain drive for camshafts, like this engine is a joke.
This is not really a factory, but more of an assembly plant. I wonder who builds their parts? I think they purchase some components from Rimac & Ford, but these pistons, rods, crank shafts must be manufactured elsewhere. I really would like to know how much it costs them to build the car?

Even then, for the rods for example, the advantage from a more optimized forging, which could possibly allow a 5% decrease in weight, is not going to have any appreciable benefit. these are not operated at race speeds for hours on end. the extra cost of custom forging dies would be a pointless waste, so a wise engineering choice after all

They aren't just a merc with a carbon body kit and some shiny buttons, like say a Pagani is, they are actually all ground-breaking feats of technological advancement in the automotive industry. RnD for these types of things runs into the tens of if not hundreds of millions sometimes. By earnt, I mean they put in the work of equivalent or similar value to justify what they charge. Yes it's a lot, but designing a car with never before seen tech all throughout from the ground up is not cheap.

Making these numbers in a 5.0 liter V-8 not so easy even with twin turbos. Bugatti uses a quad turbo V-16. Koenigsegg, is more related.to American sports cars than European. I don't see how any of them pass any countries emissions regulations

What I love about these videos is that they're not direct marketing as such. They're infotainment for the masses to enjoy. They spark passion and desire, and consequently we start to strive to own one some day. So in a round about way, it's an incredible marketing tool.

I watched the whole thing in one go and I hope we can get to see more! Im very curious about the Gemera and its freevalve tech. We haven't seen any updates on freevalve in years. That would be very interesting to see.

I love listening to CvK talking about his babies. The technology and artwork that is behind the skin of these beauties is unbelievable. As soon as he releases a car I’m amazed and think that it’s impossible to set a new bar but CvK does it every time. There is no ceiling for him at all. I do wonder why it takes the engine and transmission builders a week to assemble their respective parts when they have all the parts in front of them.
It is a pleasure to see and listen to Christian as a company leader that really knows his product and is able to make a nice explanation to us regular people. I hope his technologies are adopted by big name car manufacturers so that the prices go down with mass production.

NOBODY is doing it like Koenigsegg. The knowledge Christian has is incredible, this is what I love about the brand, the tech capability is in house. This separates them significantly from Pagani.
Koenigsegg has always been my favourite vehicle brand from as far back as when I saw it on top gear. I'm so proud of the direction the vehicles are going and how excellent the engineering is.
