Hello to Chris Oeikers, we went to U of M at the same time. God Bless you. I often wondered what happened to you. Please, who ever posted this, if you know him tell him I said hello.
a total classic...i've always been a little perplexed by the meter of this hymn...it almost seems like it's in common time...but i'm sure that it isn't...can you shed a little light on this? great playing, by the way.
The best rendition I’ve ever heard. Moving.
I wish TH-cam had a "Love" button!
Even if I'm a Catholic I still love the "Battle Hymn of the Reformation".

Glory to God in the Highest
As a lifelong LCMS member this is without a doubt my favorite hymn. A great performance!

It has a rhythm all its own...I've noticed it too...and I love this arrangement.

it is in common time, however some of the bars at the ends of phrases are effectively shortened. A little like the way psalms are sung .. I think
Que lindo!
