Right. So this is definitely (for now) a two-part "odyssey" - how she was taken and found her place in this one, then how she found her way back in Fury Road to find it devastated. Seeing just that splash of green in a single shot makes her scream in FR all the more heartbreaking. You can really see what she lost.
Homelander is the only character that when he shows up you have absolutely no idea how he will react to a particular situation. He has about an equal chance of smirking and thinking its funny or an equal chance of just murdering everyone in sight. With everything in the middle as well. Such a great bad guy, the unpredictability is the best part.

I would like to say that while 76 was nightmare inducing crap on release, it has matured into a really good game with great quests and LOADS of beautiful exploration possibilities and one of the most welcoming, generous and newbie-friendly communities in any multiplayer game I have ever played. In several years playing I think I only ever encountered 1 person doing griefing. This might sound insane to someone who currently has a poor opinion of the game, but that game and the community around it is a significant portion of reason that I did not go insane being a immune compromised person doing extra-super-lockdown during quarentine.

Watching HOTD is going to be so stressful. Sure, book readers knew when bad stuff was going to happen in GOT, but we never knew what the ultimate ending was, so there was always a chance things might turn out okay, however unlikely that sounds. With HOTD, there's no such cushion. We know exactly just how much of a downfall awaits us at the end of this one 😟
I just recently read the Dance chapters of Fire and Blood and woo boy….. the amount of absolutely crazy things that are still going to happen is mind blowing. We haven’t even gotten to the good stuff yet.
The Fallout TV Show is not separate from the Games (I assume that's what you wanted to say Adam), it's set in the same Universe and Canon (unlike the Trainwreck that Halo is) to the games.
The ONLY problem I have with the game is once you level up to a certain point and you complete the quests you don't have much to do other than grind which I don't mine but I think new perks and more quests would be nice but the last expansion the pit was only two missions when I was hoping for a new map with lots of quests but it was only two missions that were really fun but still only two missions still excited for the new expansion that they release the trailer for The game just needs another DLC the size of wastelanders overall fun but not much to do other than grind (or try to collect clothes as I do)

One of best trailerpaloozas you've ever done! I avoided HOTD season 1, but this trailer and your enthusiasm have convinced me to go back and check it out. Also Fallout looks amazing. I've yet to play any of the games, but the world looks stunning, and lots of quirky casting (Chris Parnell!)

I mean, Furiosa did get home in Fury Road. The women explained that their green valley became that swamp where the truck got stuck. That's why they were going to move on and ultimately took Immortan Joe's base at the end. That is their new home now.
I'm surprised it took this long to make a Fallout show. The IP has been ripe for doing one a long time. I'm just happy this is a series and not a movie. I don't think a movie has enough time to give that world a proper story.

I think it's going to be one of the tensions in the movie--the tragedy of seeing someone of such impressive will try so HARD and we know that even though she'll succeed, it'll be empty. I also think it's interesting that so many people start out kind of disinterested about Furiosa because it took so long, only to change their minds by the end lol. We all complain about franchises that get churned out for money every 2-3 years, because quality dips, but sometimes it just takes a long time for a creative project to get done right. Part of what makes a mastermind is the willingness to wait until something's truly ready.

Jay is absolutely right. Fallout New Vegas is still the reigning king in the series after all this time and maybe all of RPG games history. It's a true RP gamer's sandbox. It's sad Bethesda hasn't come close to even matching what NV did for the genre and gaming in general when Fallout is their IP in the first place. With Todd Howard in the production loop, I hope the Amazon show is faithful to the lore, but creates its own story within the universe.

Except for Fallout 76, I’ve played all the games in the series, including the first one from 1997. The show (or at least the trailer) looks good to me too. Everything is visually faithful to the series, especially Fallout 4.

Nope you’re not wrong, New Vegas is definitely widely considered to be the best narrative Fallout game, I only prefer FO4 because it was my first one and New Vegas is just a tad more dated and clunky with the gameplay.
Furiosa did *technically* get home. But that home was dead. However, she also found the survivors of her people, and with them took over the Citadel. So, also, that is, with her family/folk, "home". I wouldn't look for a film bridging Furiosa and Fury Road.
I actually don't mind them to create a new story and new vault dwelller and not follow any of Fallout 1 till 4 storylines as long as they don't make it ridicilious and bring stuff in thats not of the Fallout universe.
It's been a while since i've had a lot of things to get hyped over all happening at the same time. I really can't wait, especially with the Godzilla x Kong that just got pushed out too :D

Nope you’re not wrong, New Vegas is definitely widely considered to be the best narrative Fallout game, I only prefer FO4 because it was my first one and New Vegas is just a tad more dated and clunky with the gameplay.

Furiosa did *technically* get home. But that home was dead. However, she also found the survivors of her people, and with them took over the Citadel. So, also, that is, with her family/folk, "home". I wouldn't look for a film bridging Furiosa and Fury Road.

Gotta be honest: I've been oblivious on what Hot D was until the trailer actually started. Still haven't seen any of it.
I actually don't mind them to create a new story and new vault dwelller and not follow any of Fallout 1 till 4 storylines as long as they don't make it ridicilious and bring stuff in thats not of the Fallout universe.
It's been a while since i've had a lot of things to get hyped over all happening at the same time. I really can't wait, especially with the Godzilla x Kong that just got pushed out too :D

I think that show is on their list, just haven't had time to watch as of yet with all their other reactions.
